MATCH OVER!
Zurich Nomads won by four wickets!
Winterthur CC 118/4 (10) Zurich Nomads 122/6 (8.5)
Jawed Danesh flexes his muscles and why not? He has taken Zurich Nomads home to register their third consecutive victory of the day. Chasing 119 wasn't a massive challenge but Zurich Nomads lost Faheem Nazir in the very first over. Qateel Zabiullah looked good initially but he departed in the third over. At one end, Hassan Ahmad played some quality shots to keep the Nomads ahead in the chase. Wickets continued to fall with Chamith Karannagodage striking twice in two balls as the Nomads were reduced to 47-4.
However, that didn't bother Hassan Ahmad who continued to smack the Winterthur CC bowlers. Out of nowhere, Hassan holed out to deep backward square-leg in the sixth over as Winterthur got a life-line. A couple of overs later, Sreekanth Sasidharan also castled Anoop Gangadharan to put his team in a stronger position. Yet, Jawed Danesh kept his calm and produced a cracking cameo as he took the Nomads over the line with seven balls to spare!
8.5 Grant Cupido to Jawed Danesh, SIX! BOOM! He finishes it off in style! Full and on the leg stump line, Jawed gets his front foot out of the way and absolutely thumps it over the long on region for a huge maximum! Jawed has done it for his side!
8.4 Grant Cupido to Amjad Rahmani, a low full toss outside off, Rahmani pushes it down to long off for a single.
8.3 Grant Cupido to Jawed Danesh, full and on the leg stump line, Jawed digs it out into the mid-wicket region for a single.
8.3 Grant Cupido to Jawed Danesh, WIDE! Sliding down the leg side and it will be a wide.
8.2 Grant Cupido to Jawed Danesh, SIX! BANG! Full and outside off, Jawed shuffles across and sends that packing over the long off region for a huge maximum!
8.1 Grant Cupido to Jawed Danesh, length ball on the middle stump line, Jawed pulls it high in the air. The fielder there runs a long way but fails to catch it as it falls well over his shoulder! Two runs to them!
8.1 Grant Cupido to Jawed Danesh, WIDE! Sprayed down the leg side and it will be a wide. The keeper fumbles and allows a single. An overthrow from the keeper lets the batters return for the second. The bowler is livid!
Grant Cupido [1-0-14-0] is back into the attack
Eight runs and a wicket off Sreekanth Sasidharan's bowling. This game is going down to the wire here. Zurich Nomads need 17 off 12 balls

7.3 Sreekanth Sasidharan to Amjad Rahmani, a slower yorker outside off and Amjad is well too early through the heave. Does not make any connection.

Superb delivery from S Sasidharan and Anoop Gangadharan has been castled!
