That brings us to end of the final ECS encounter of the day. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Mohul Bhowmick. Cheers!
Zurich Nomads won by 10 wickets (with 24 deliveries to spare)
Faheem Nazir 73*(24) | Tharanitharan Thanabalasingham 2/35(2) Nicholas Salonel 40(24) | Kanishk Shah 0/19(1)
It was just brutal and ruthless batting from the two openers Faheem Nazir and Hassan Ahmad as the duo remained unbeaten and toyed with the Zurich Lions attack. They made the target of 126 look ridiculously easy and chased it down within the 6th over. 65 runs in the powerplay set the foundation and they didn't stop even after the fielding restrictions were taken off.
None of the batters were actually bothered about the condition and kept smashing the listless bowlers all around the park. None of the bowlers had any answers infront of their onslaught. It was Hassan Ahmad who clobbered one over the fence to finish it for the Nomads. Faheem Nazir remained unbeaten on 73 off a mere 24 deliveries which included 2 fours and 10 sizes while Hassan Ahmad remained unbeaten on 46 off 14 deliveries, which included 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Ankush Hasani, right-arm medium comes into the attack.
This is collosal hitting from Faheem Nazir. Haven't seen any better hitting than this in ECS cricket. Just hitting through the line and managing to clear the fence four times during that over. The connection has been sublime and the next over could well finish it for the Nomads.

The carnage continues as the Zurich Lions have found no answers infront of the onslaught. Neither of the batter has remained silent and it has been clinical hitting. They havent slogged their way and have managed to get their hands through the ball quite exceptional. How long will it take for them to chase this down?
