We hope to see you guys again tomorrow with plenty of action as England, France, the Netherlands and others take the field.
That's all from Dusseldorf as Spain maintain their perfect record in the group stage while Albania bow out of the competition. It will be a tough pill to swallow for Sylvinho and his men but that's how it is. They gave a great account of themselves in a very tough group and showed great fight with some of the top teams in the world. They had their moments in this match as well but eventually, it was not enough.
A brilliantly worked corner finds Broja in space in the penalty area as he turns and shoots but Raya holds onto it comfortably. Not enough power from the big striker. Unfortunate for Albania as it was a huge huge opportunity for them.
Lamine Yamal and skipper Alvaro Morata come on replacing Joselu and Ferran Torres.
Qazim Laci and Nedim Bajrami are replaced by Medon Berisha and Arber Hoxha
A rare opening for the Albanians as Armando Broja forces David Raya to make a very crucial save. Albania have gained some momentum in this match.
Luis de la Fuente is looking to freshen things up as he brings in Fermin Lopez in exchange of Mikel Oyarzabal.
An early opportunity for Spain in the second half as Joselu almost makes it 2-0. A beautiful cross from Grimaldo finds the Real Madrid man in the penalty but he fails to convert it. That had the potential to be the goal of the tournament.
Robin Le Normand comes on for Aymeric Laporte in defence.
Spain are in total control of the match as they have dictated possession and created multiple openings. Albania have shown some spark in attack though they are struggling to contain Spain's full-backs. Both Navas and Grimaldo are providing a lot of width on either flank and are also bombing in crosses in the penalty area. They expect one of the forwards to get on the end of one of those deliveries. Overall, a very satisfactory half for Luis de la Fuente.
This could have been nasty for Spain as Asllani finds space near the Spain final third and his subsequent effort was kept out by Raya in goal. That was a wake-up call from the Albanians. That ball was travelling at great speed and it was a great effort from Raya to keep it out though he made it look easy.
Another opportunity goes begging for La Roja as Merino switches possession to Grimaldo on the left and his early cross in the box finds Torres, who combines with Olmo. The midfielder tries to dink it over Djimsiti to find Joselu. But the Albanian defender anticipates the pass and blocks it for a corner.
Spain hit Albania on the counter as Olmo unleashes Torres on the right flank and the winger runs in behind the Albanian defence before sending in a vicious cross. Fortunately for Albania, it was dealt with by Balliu with Josely lurking.
A brilliant buildup from Spain involving Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres as the former find the latter in the box. Torres hits the target the first time and it goes in after hitting the post. Albania were caught napping as Spain strike first.
Albania XI: Strakosha; Balliu, Djimsiti, Ajeti, Mitaj; Laci, Ramadani, Asllani; Asani, Manaj, and Bajrami.
Spain XI: Raya; Navas, Vivian, Laporte, Grimaldo; Zubimendi, Merino; Torres, Olmo, Oyarzabal; Joselu
