A breath-taking last 10 minutes as both teams threw the kitchen sink at each other in search of a goal. While Scotland fluffled their lines it was a substitute Csoboth who showed great composure in finishing a great counter-attacking move for Hungary. They now have three points and a glimmer of hope of reaching the knockouts. Whereas, with this defeat, Scotland are eliminated from the Euro 2024.
It is Csoboth who comes up with the winner for Hungary. The substitute couldn't have chosen a better time to score his first international goal for Hungary. A brilliant counter-attack as Szoboszlai finds Szalai in the right who comes up with a great cross which fails to find Szoboszlai but finds Csoboth in space, who keeps his calm and slots it past Gunn. Scotland 0-1 Hungary

Adam Nagy replaces Callum Styles in midfield
An excellent counter-attack from Hungary led by Szoboszlai but his pass on the left wasn't good due to some sloppy work by Ralston it reaches Sallai but his subsequent effort was blocked by Ralston, who tries to redeem himself. That could have been dangerous for Scotland as they need to be more alert in these situations.
A late tackle from the Scottish midfielder sees him get booked. If Scotland win this fixture and qualify for the knockouts, McTominay will miss the round of 16 match.
It's all square at the break as Scotland and Hungary have cancelled each other out on many occasions. Despite having the majority of the ball, the Scotts have struggled to create good openings and test Peter Gulacsi in goal. Meanwhile, Hungary have been a threat on the counter-attack. The likes of Kerkez and Bolla have provided a lot of space while Szoboszlai and Sallai have made good inroads in the Scottish penalty area. Overall, we need a goal for the match to open up even more.
Schafer puts in a careless challenge on Hendry in midfield and misses the ball completely. He becomes the third Hungarian player to get on the referee's book.
McGinn has been a cause for concern for Hungary as the midfielder was again brought down unfairly in his attempt to wriggle past the Hungarian defender.
The Hungarian midfielder lunged into an unfair tackle to bring down John McGinn. He becomes the first player to get into the referee's book.
