FULL TIME 40' Bengal Warriorz 44-29 Bengaluru Bulls

Bengal Warriorz get a 15-point win and keep their playoff hopes alive!

A huge win for the Warriorz who looked like a team on a mission and they have pretty much ended the Bulls' campaign right here while keeping their own alive and not only alive but it is kicking too now with this performance. They move to number 10 and have a whole lot of ground to make but this win will give them the confidence and belief to do the unthinkable.

The story of the night were the corners of Bengal, captain Fazel Atrachali in the left and Nitesh Kumar in the right, who got 7 tackle points each. To have one man with 7 tackle points is great, but imagine having two, phew! They have not allowed the Bulls raiders to breathe tonight.

And that is exactly why the return of form for the dubki king Pardeep Narwal, who showed sparks of his old-self, was all that more special. He scored 14 raid points on a night where the next-best performance from his team was a 3-point effort from raider Sushil, talk about carrying a side single-handedly.

It was not just about the defense of Bengal though. On a night where they took the mat without Maninder Singh and their best raider of the season in Nitin Dhankhar, two men took centerstage and showed that they were ready for bigger things. Vishwas got a big haul of 14 raid points and young Pranay Rane impressed one another with his speed and ended up with 9 raid points on the night.

Bengal Warriorz live to fight another day while Bulls are left with even more questions to ponder upon in a disastrous season. Time for me, Sourabh, to take your leave, good night!
37' Bengal Warriorz 40-26 Bengaluru Bulls

Bengal are slowing down the pace now! The defense of both the teams have traded blows in the last couple of minutes and this is heading towards a big win for the Warriorz
34' Bengal Warriorz 38-24 Bengaluru Bulls

Pardeep has 14 raid points already!
He is looking more like his old self, enticing the covers with his feet movement and getting them. Also, Vishwas completed his Super-10 as well with a 2-point raid
32' Bengal Warriorz 36-22 Bengaluru Bulls

Pardeep keeps fighting!
One touch on Nitesh who went for an unsuccessful ankle hold and then in the next raid got a hand touch on the left cover. In between was a raid point for Vishwas too
30' Bengal Warriorz 35-20 Bengaluru Bulls

Super 10 for Pardeep Narwal and high-5 for Fazel Atrachali!
What more do you need as a Kabaddi fan?
We are at the 30-minute mark with the official time out in progress and the last piece of play was Fazel getting to his high-5 with a double thigh hold on Ajinkya who was trying to jump over him. Pardeep has completed his Super-10 too and he has been the sole warrior for his team today
29' Bengal Warriorz 33-19 Bengaluru Bulls

Bulls are all-out for the second time!
They were down to 2 men and Pardeep went in to raid only to be ankle-held by Nitesh, a surrender raid then followed with the all-out next
27' Bengal Warriorz 26-17 Bengaluru Bulls

Pardeep Narwal gets the better of Nitesh Kumar who attempted a solo backhold on him and then Pranay Rane continues his stellar day and wipes off two men from either corners using his speed
27' Bengal Warriorz 27-17 Bengaluru Bulls

Pranay Rane shines in do-or-die! He uses his speed to run from right to left and gets a touch on Saurabh Nandal, not for the first time today in the same manner and he gets a touch point. Bulls review it and they lose their review, they are down to 3 men!
25' Bengal Warriorz 26-17 Bengaluru Bulls

Nitesh pounces from the right corner again and he completes his High-5!
Sushil goes on the bench and this ain't looking great for the Bulls
24' Bengal Warriorz 25-17 Bengaluru Bulls

A bonus from Jai Bhagwan and then the speed of Pranay Rane carried him into the lobbies without a touch and then a huge backhold from Fazel on Jai Bhagwan gave him no chance. Next up, another Bengal raider in Vishwas stepped into the lobbies without a touch
21' Bengal Warriorz 24-14 Bengaluru Bulls

Some raid points to start the second half!
Pranay Rane gets two running hand touches on either corners in two raids and in between that was a trademark Pardeep Narwal dubki which saw him fox two men and add 2 points to his kitty
HALF TIME 20' Bengal Warriorz 22-12 Bengaluru Bulls

Bengal Warriorz go into the half-time break with a 10-point lead!
They end the half with a strong hold from Nitesh in the right corner against Sushil, an exciting half of Kabaddi with the Bengal Warriorz dominating the half in both offence and defence.

It has been a well-rounded effort from the Warriorz with Vishwas being the lead raider in absence of Maninder and he already has 7 raid points to his name. Pranay Rane has supported with 3 but the story has been their defense with Nitesh Kumar back to his best. He has been a wall in the right corner and already has 4 tackle points with the skipper Fazel with 3 of his own too

Bulls have done well in raid with Pardeep scoring 5 raid points including a super-raid but their defense has not been upto the mark with just 4 tackle points in the entire half, 2 of which have come from Nitin Rawal.

Can they turn it around or will the Warriorz get a much-needed victory? Bengal will start with all 7 men while Bulls will have 4 men on court to start the second half
18' Bengal Warriorz 18-11 Bengaluru Bulls

The do-or-die sequence arrives and it goes in the way of the Bulls!
First of all, it was Vishwas' do-or-die raid who was trapped in the left corner by Nitin Rawal and then Sushil got the better of Nitesh Kumar who went for his ankles once more
16' Bengal Warriorz 18-9 Bengaluru Bulls

Bengal increasing their lead!
Pardeep started after the all-in with a raid point as an unsuccessful block came in from Siddhesh but then right in his next raid Fazel got him again with a huge double thigh hold. There was a touch point for Vishwas in between as well
14' Bengal Warriorz 16-8 Bengaluru Bulls

Bengal Warriorz inflict the all-out!
Bulls were down to 2 and then Pardeep went in to raid, picked up a bonus before Fazel caught up on him with a block from the left side. A surrender raid then followed and Bengal have a 8-point lead
13' Bengal Warriorz 12-7 Bengaluru Bulls

Do-or-die for Bengal and Vishwas delivers the goods!
He went deep into the left corner and tempted Nitin Rawal who gave in and he wiped out both the corners of the Bulls
11' Bengal Warriorz 10-7 Bengaluru Bulls

Nitesh is having a night out!
He gets the ankles of Pankaj, the sub raider, who was trying to jump over him and gets his third tackle point of the match already
10' Bengal Warriorz 9-7 Bengaluru Bulls

Back-to-back do-or-die raids for both the teams and the defenses step up once more. It was Bulls' Sushil who went in to raid and was trapped by the combination of Nitesh from the right and Fazel from the left, the corners have been fabulous for Bengal so far.

Then, Pranay Rane went it and he was dragged inches away from the midline as Parteek got a hold of him and then the assit arrived. This has been a fabulous start to the contest as we are at the first timeout
8' Bengal Warriorz 8-5 Bengaluru Bulls

Vishwas gets 2 in a raid and then the defense of the Warriorz in the form of Mayur Kadam assisted by Nitesh send Jai Bhagwan to the bench
5' Bengal Warriorz 4-4 Bengaluru Bulls

Super raid for Pardeep Narwal and he has got the Balewadi Arena on its feet!
He attempted the dubki in his first raid but was sent to the bench but on this time he sneaks under the chain from the left side and also gets another touch on his way to get three points to level it up. He goes one up on Fazel early in the match
4' Bengal Warriorz 4-1 Bengaluru Bulls

The ankles are in danger tonight!
The defenders are ruling the roosts in the opening excahnges, Nitesh Kumar gets anotrher ankle hold and the league's best defender Nitin Rawal does so before he attempts an unsuccessful one on Pranay Rane for a rare raid point
1' Bengal Warriorz 2-0 Bengaluru Bulls

The defense of Bengal Warriorz is off to a flier!
First of all, Pardeep Narwal's dubki was halted by Siddhesh and then Jai Bhagwan was trapped by a huge ankle hold from Nitesh
Toss: Fazel Atrachali wins the toss for Bengal Warriorz and chooses court. It means that Bengaluru Bulls will raid first
Here is a look at the all-important starting 7s for both the teams for tonight's contest:

Bengal Warriorz: Fazel Atrachali (C), Nitesh Kumar, Vishwas S, Pranay Rane, Siddhesh Tatkare,  Mayur Kadam, Manjeet
Bengaluru Bulls: Sushil, Jai Bhagwan, Pardeep Narwal (c), Parteek, Nitin Rawal, Saurabh Nandal, Lucky Kumar

Big surprise in the Bengal line-up with no Maninder Singh in the starting 7 or the substitute list. Not sure what's the reason there, might be an injury because you certainly dropping someone who has scored 4 Super-10s in the last 4 games. Raider Vishwas S will replace him. Bulls have changed their raiding line-up too and have brought in left raider Sushil in place of Ajinkya Pawar.
Wondering about who to pick in your fantasy teams? Here's something from our end that might help you👇
Hello and good evening from Sourabh as I welcome you to Sportskeeda's continued live coverage of PKL 11. Kabaddi action continues at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune and now it is time for Match 104 which will be a bottom-of-the-table clash between Bengal Warriorz and Bengaluru Bulls, two teams who are having seasons to forget.

What could have been? Both these teams have been hit badly by their biggest names being completely off-color. On one side of the mat is the Warriorz who have the all-time best defender of PKL in Fazel Atrachali manning their left corner and on the other side is arguably the biggest name to have come out of PKL in Pardeep Narwal who is comfortably the most successful raider since the league's inception. Both these mega-stars have been off the boil and the stats say so too; while Fazel has 45 tackle points in 16 games at less than 3 tackle points per game, Pardeep has just the 74 raid points in 14 appearances and has looked a pale shadow of himself. However, it is set to be Pardeep vs Fazel once more and we hope that it might just roll back the years for the hardcore Kabaddi fans.

Bengal Warriorz have lost 4 of their last 5 matches and their most recent one was a close 32-34 loss to the Telugu Titans. Their star raider Maninder Singh is coming into this contest on the back of 4 consecutive Super-10s but he will have to deal with the season's best defender in Nitin Rawal who has been the sole shining light for the Bulls in what has otherwise been a forgettable season for the Randhir Shekhawat coached team. Their dual is one which could decide the fate of this encounter, I feel.

Bulls, placed firmly at the bottom with 13 losses of the 16 matches played will want to end the season on a high with their remaining few games. They have no chance to get to the playoffs, as you would imagine, but the Warriorz still have a mathematical chance even though it may sound crazy. Bengal Warriorz, even though being 13 points ahead of the bottom-ranked Bulls, could well finish with the wooden spoon if they do not get their act together and on the other hand if Bulls string a few wins starting from today.

Which way will this go? Let's find out together, shall we?
