Full time : Dabang Delhi 39- 26 Tamil Thalaivas

This has been an incredible victory for the Dabang Delhi! They've completely outplayed their opponents the Tamil Thalaivas here and it was their defense that stood solidly against the Tamil side who failed to get the raid points. The difference was around six points at the halfway stage but the Delhi side doubled it by the end of the game.

Ashu Malik started off without much success and was even substituted once. But he came back with renewed vigor in the second half and ended the game with 12 points to his name. It was the highest for anyone in this game and it helped his side to extend the lead through the second half and even get the all-out.

But the star of the show was the defender duo of Yogesh and Ashish Malik. They pair picked up seven points each as they thwarted raid after raid by the Tamil side. Even when the Dabang Delhi had the empty raids, they picked up the tackle points as they kept notching up the numbers on the scoreboard. Manu too was good with his raids as he had five points for the Dabang Delhi.

Narender Kandola failed to deliver for the Tamil Thalaivas. He had an average game although he was the top scorer in the end for his side with 6 points. Moein Shafaghi was impressive for a while but withered off towards the later stages of the game as he failed to get the success in the key raids. Nitesh, Amir Hossein and Ronak were disappointing in the defense while the only one with some success was Sahil Gulia who picked up four points.

Overall it was a tough night for the Tamil Thalaivas and they fell way short in a game where the defenders had to play a key role. Dabang Delhi surged ahead in the second half thanks to some resilient defending and the sensational run of Ashu Malik, aided by Manu. The Dabang Delhi have moved up to number 3 in the points table and they will be heading into the Noida Leg of the competition with a lot of confidence, awaiting home support.
