Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you the Season 11 PKL Champions, Haryana Steelers!

Absolute scenes out in the middle, a highly emotional Haryana Steelers unit is living their dream at the Balewadi Arena along with coach Manpreet Singh who has given it his all for that championship.

Shivam Patare cannot seems to control his tears, the tears of joy, their skipper Jaideep is showing his moves out in the middle and there is that characteristic aggression from Manpreet Singh who is living the moment. The bands are out on the mat and the entire Steelers' unit is dancing their hearts out

A lap of honor then follows across the arena thanking the fans of the Haryana Steelers who have followed them throughout the campaign.

The Steelers have put up a complete performance in the final for their fans and their coach and have now got their hands on the trophy that has eluded them for 11 seasons

Steelers landed the first blow in the first minute itself when a certain Mohammadreza Shadloui locked his hands around the season's best raider Devank and it was only a sign of things to come from thereon. The Steelers did not look back from there and led throughout the final and ended up with a convincing 9-point win.

It was as if the dynamic duo of Devank and Ayan was not even on the mat, such was the efficiency of the Haryana defense which was led by Shadloui who scored a high-5 but the highlight was the cohesiveness of the Steelers.

Shivam Patare had a big night too, not in raid but in defense as the young man picked up a high-5 too, would you believe it?

Devank did pick up 5 raid points but most of them came when it was too late, it was simply a case of too little too late for the star raider who was completely nullified by the Steelers.

Haryana Steelers inflict the all-out and they have brokenthrough here!
This is going exactly as per plans for the Steelers who now have what could be a defining lead in this final. The surprising thing there was that Pirates did not even opt for the substitution on the last man

Steelers's defense engulfs Sudhakar in another do-or-die and Patna Pirates are down to 2 men, in fact down to 1 as Shadloui gets a kick on the next raid

HALF TIME 20' Haryana Steelers 15-12 Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates produced a super tackle on Vinay in the last minute of the half to reduce the gap and then the half ended with an empty raid as the Haryana Steelers go into the halftime break with a 3-point lead

It has been a cohesive effort from the Steelers so far who have 8 tackle points in the first 20, they have not allowed the might of Devank and Ayan to have their say with both of them getting just 2 points each in the first half and visiting the bench multiple times.

The big performer has been Shivam Patare who has not only picked up 4 raid points but has also contributed with 3 tackle points includinjg a super tackle.

Expect the second half to be as intense if not more than the first, don't go anywhere, folks!

It was another sequence of do-or-dies and both the defensive units stepped up, first Ankit went for the ankles of Vinay and then the big man Devank was yet again captured by the Steelers defense
14' Haryana Steelers 10-9 Patna Pirates

Super tackle for Shivam Patare,
would you imagine? Rahul Sethpal stepped out of bounds without a touch and Steelers were down to 3, that is when Shivam went for the double thigh hold on Ayan and sent him to the bench. Huge moment!
Shivam Patare has injured himself and had some treatment done on him. But he's back on the mat again. Good news for Haryana!

Not many people picked Patna Pirates to play the final before the season began but they have pleasantly surprised one and all and now have a chance to win their 4th PKL title. Here's why they can do it 👇
Haryana Steelers were by far the best team in the league stage this season and ended it be being on top of the points table. They are chasing their maiden title, here's why they can win the whole thing this time around 👇
Things got heated when both these teams met on the Kabaddi mat last time. Here is an account of all that happened then and why this finale is anticipated to be a just that little bit more spicy 👇
Hello and good evening from Sourabh as I welcome you to biggest night of PKL 11. It is time for the most important match of the season, the one that matters the most, the one that will attract the most eyeballs, THE GRAND FINALE

It has taken 136 matches of intriguing Kabaddi in which 12 teams have given it their all (some more then the others in all honesty) across 10 weeks and the juggernaut is finally going to reach to its conclusion tonight and we hope that it is a befitting one because the stage is set, the teams are ready and the countdown has begun to crown the PKL Season 11 Champion.

If ever there was a season where to deserving teams made it to the final, it is this one. It is Haryana Steelers vs Patna Pirates, two teams that fully deserve their spots in the final and now it is all about who brings their A game out on the night of the finale because truth be told there is not a lot separating both these teams and each one is more than capable of beating the other which is why this final is going to be even more special.

Let me give you some facts and figures here, while Patna Pirates have the season's best raider with them in Devank who is sitting 4 shy off the 300-raid points mark in the season with 296 raid points to his name so far, Haryana Steelers have this time's best defender in the form of the Iranian superstar Mohammedreza Shadloui. The battle for the orange sleeve is as close as it gets too, Shadloui sits on top with 77 tackle points in the season but hot on his heels is the Patna skipper Ankit Jaglan who has the same number of tackle points as the Iranian.

If you think Devank was a great threat, he is not all that the Shadloui-led defense need to deal with. Forming a lethal raiding pair along with Devank is Ayan who has been a great second fiddle to Devank but has all of a sudden found a new gear in the playoffs and has emerged as the lead raider for the Pirates. He will go up against Rahul Sethpal in the right corner for Haryana, who has been in red-hot form as well. Young raiders Vinay and Shivam Patare have shouldered most of the raiding responsibilities for the Steelers and they have done a good job at it too.

What adds even more fuel to the fire is the recent history between both these teams. The last time both these teams met tempers went through the roof and a new rivalry was born with characters like the Steeler's coach Manpreet Singh getting in the thick of things. It is a big battle of coaches too, on one side is Manpreet Singh wearing his heart on his sleeves and searching for his first title as a coach and on the other side is coach Narender for Patna who has been a tactical mastermind this season and his acumen has played a huge role in bringing a side like Patna to the final, one which not a lot of people gave chances too before the season but here they are gunning for a record fourth title.

All in all, we are set to be treated to a clash worthy of a finale, we hope that the best side wins as a rampaging Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune is set to witness all the action unfold
