Haryana Steelers become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals as they confirm their top spot as well in the standings. They have been the most complete team this season and this is a well-deserved spot for them at the top. 

What a way to reach there with a 17-point thrashing against Sunil Kumar's U Mumba. Shivam Patare was unstoppable tonight, bagging a Super 10 that kept the scoreboard ticking consistently. At the back, the corner duo of Rahul Sethpal and Mohammadreza Shadloui were a wall of steel, each clinching a well-deserved High 5. This was a classic "complete team performance", a hallmark of their campaign this season.

For U Mumba, it was a tough night. Their defense looked shaky, barring skipper Sunil Kumar, who managed four tackle points. On the raiding front, Ajit Chouhan had a rare off day with just a single point. The silver lining? Satish Kannan’s fiery cameo late in the match, where he scored nine raid points. His performance might just earn him a starting spot in their important final league game.

What a dash this was from Sanjay. Saurabh goes in deep at the left corner but Sanjay comes from the right cover to push the raider out.

Silly from Vikas Jadhav here as he loses his balance while attempting a running hand touch and falls out of bounds. 

High 5 for Mohammadreza Shadloui! A brilliant block on Saurabh Raut who had no way to escape out of that.

There's no stopping for Satish Kannan here. He keeps adding points and this time with a running hand touch on Ashish Gill. 

A multi-point raid now for Satish Kannan. He first gets a bonus under the left cover and then an escape from Vikas Jadhav's ankle hold. 

A point each here for both sides. Shivam Patare got a bonus under the right corner but is dashed down by Parvesh from the left cover.

Hardeep makes an immediate impact now for Haryana coming off the bench. Gets a textbook ankle hold at the left corner on Saurabh Raut.

What a kick this was from Saurabh. Gets it on none other than Shadloui at the left corner. 

A multi-point raid from Shivam Patare to get his Super 10. A bonus and an escape from the right corner Amin Ghorbani. 

Satish adds another point to his tally with a running hand touch on Sanjay at the right cover.

That's some brilliant escape from Vinay here. Ajit and Sunil come for a block from the right corner, but Vinay runs around them and gets a touch on Ajit to get back to the midline. 

A quick bonus in response from Satish Kannan. 

That is a desperate tackle attempt here from Sunil Kumar. He goes for an advanced ankle hold, but it is too close to the midline, making an easy escape for Vinay.

Shadloui gets the first tackle of the second half with an ankle hold at the left corner on sub Saurabh Raut. Saurabh gets a bonus though.

The Steelers have come out with a point to prove tonight! A commanding 12-point lead at the break courtesy of an all-round effort. 

U Mumba, on the other hand, seem to be struggling to find their rhythm. They have had their moments, but the Steelers have kept them largely in check. Sunil Kumar’s team will need to regroup quickly to avoid a heavy loss, which could dent their playoff momentum.

A silly error here from Lokesh Ghosliya. Shivam got a bonus first under the left corner and then Lokesh lost balance and stepped out of bounds. U Mumba have reviewed it claiming no bonus point but it goes against them. A bonus and a point for Shivam Patare. 

Rohit Raghav goes in for raid now and is dashed down by Rahul Sethpal from the right corner. But it was Shadloui's support that actually made the tackle successful.

Another tackle point for Sunil Kumar. A brilliant ankle hold from the U Mumba skipper to take down Vishal Tate.

A multi-point raid from Shivam Patare and Manpreet Singh is pumped up now. Gets a running hand touch on Parvesh first at the left corner and then escapes a dash from Rinku. 

Manjeet responds with a quick bonus under the left corner. 

Shadloui gets his revenge on Sunil Kumar. Goes against a two-man defense and gets an easy touch on Sunil's head at the right corner.

Rohit Raghav adds another point with a quick bonus. 

That's some speed here from Shivam Patare. Error from Lokesh to go for the ankle hold which made Sunil Kumar come in for an assist. But Shivam was too quick to find his way back leaving Mumba with just one man on the mat. 

ALL OUT! Haryana give away a bonus to Rohit but then Sanjay takes down Rohit with a double ankle hold at the right cover. Sanjay has hurt himself a bit in the process.

Manjeet goes running towards the right corner but Rahul Sethpal takes him down with a brilliant double thigh hold. 

Shivam comes in against a three-man Mumba defense and gets a free point as Parvesh Bhainswal falls out of bounds without a touch.

Captain Jaideep delivers with an insane block on none other than Ajit. Ajit went in deep at the right corner but Jaideep came from the left cover and blocked him down.

U Mumba start on a positive note as the chain of Rinku and Zafardanesh take down Vinay with a block at the right corner.

Haryana's defense also make their mark as Sanjay dashes down Zafardanesh from the right cover. The raider was trying for a toe touch at the left corner but was dashed down.

The Steelers looked nearly unbeatable all season, but suddenly, they find themselves with questions to answer. Tonight, they’ll be desperate to remind everyone why they’re at the top of the table. And let’s not forget, a loss by more than seven, and they could miss out on the semis. That’s pressure, folks!

And then we’ve got U Mumba. Sunil Kumar’s men are sitting comfortably in sixth, with one foot already in the playoffs. Realistically, only a catastrophe of epic proportions - a 64-point combined loss in their last two games - can knock them out. 

It’s Manpreet Singh versus Sunil Kumar, mentor versus mentee. Haryana’s raiding duo of Vinay and Shivam have the firepower to trouble any defense. And then there’s Mohammadreza Shadloui, the rock in their defense, who’ll have his eyes set on stopping Ajit Chouhan. U Mumba, on the other hand, have been all about balance. Ajit has been stellar, their defense led by Sunil and Parvesh is rock-solid, and young Lokesh has been turning heads.
