FULL TIME 40' Jaipur Pink Panthers 21-35 Dabang Delhi KC

Huge win for Dabang Delhi KC and they jump to the 3rd place in the points table! This was expected to be a much closer contest but Delhi have completely outplayed the Panthers on all accounts.

It was a complete team effort from the team from the Capital. The numbers say it all, it was a rare occasion in the season when Ashu did not get a Super-10 but he did have a good game again and picked up 9 raid points. Yogesh was stellar once more and registered a High-5. Ashish Malik almost got there too; he ended up on 4 tackle points.

On the other hand, it was the over-reliance on Arjun Deshwal which proved to be undoing for the Jaipur Pink Panthers once more. The raid machine, Arjun Deshwal picked up 7 raid points but the telling stat is that no other player in the Panthers' line-up picked up more than 2 points.

It was a classic case of one man going up against an entire unit and as they say Unity Is Strength and it proved to be exactly that in this encounter.

A couple of points for the Panthers, one in offense and one in defense and their tally is upto 20. But Delhi respond back yet again, another tackle point from Yogesh, this time on Sombir Mehra and the right-corner from Delhi has completed his High-5

36' Jaipur Pink Panthers 18-33 Dabang Delhi KC

Arjun Deshwal picked up a raid point but then in the next raid it was the right corner Yogesh who got the better of him once more with a thigh hold. This match is firmly in Delhi's grip now!

34' Jaipur Pink Panthers 17-32 Dabang Delhi KC

The do-or-die raid arrives for Delhi and they sub in Mohit who gets Ankush who has had a horror night so far. Another unsuccessful tackle for him as he looked for the ankles yet again

33' Jaipur Pink Panthers 17-31 Dabang Delhi KC

Delhi have a big lead and with just 7 minutes to go, they are happy to play on the do-or-die. They are playing a smart brand of Kabaddi here not giving away more than 1 point in defense

31' Jaipur Pink Panthers 16-30 Dabang Delhi KC

Sombir loses his balance yet again and goes into the lobby giving Delhi 2 points on the super tackle! That is the last thing Jaipur would have wanted. The all-rounder Ashish follows it up with a brilliant lunging touch on Lucky Sharma

30' Jaipur Pink Panthers 16-27 Dabang Delhi KC

This is certainly a mini-comeback from the Jaipur Pink Panthers! Both Ashu Malik and Naveen have been picked up by the Panther's defense and a determined Arjun Deshwal has kept collecting single raid points. There was also a speedy hand touch on the right corner from the substitute raider Sombir and Delhi have been reduced to 3.

This is Jaipur's opportunity but this is still a huge task ahead for them, 11 points the gap with just under 10 minutes left

27' Jaipur Pink Panthers 12-26 Dabang Delhi KC

Arjun has picked up a couple of points but a 2-point effort from Ashu Malik has nullified it. This is Delhi's game to lose from here on, however, there is always a scope of comeback in PKL

25' Jaipur Pink Panthers 10-24 Dabang Delhi KC

Jaipur Pink Panthers are all out for the second time! Ashu Malik got Surjeet in a do-or-die raid leaving Panthers down to a single man who was tackled by a hungry Delhi defense in the next raid. A few changes made by the Panthers after being all out and they have an uphill battle now

Substitute raider loses his balance and falls into the lobby in a do-or-die raid and things continue to go south for the Panthers

21' Jaipur Pink Panthers 9-19 Dabang Delhi KC

Delhi start exactly where they left off! A big ankle hold on Neeraj Narwal from Ashish Malik in the left corner in the first raid of the second half before Ashu picked up Lucky Sharma once again in the next raid and Panthers are down to 3 again

HALF TIME 20' Jaipur Pink Panthers 9-17 Dabang Delhi KC

Dabang Delhi are running away with it! Arjun Deshwal was tackled yet again, this time by Ashish Malik in the left corner. Abhijeet Malik was dashed in the Panther's next raid and there were a couple of bonuses on either side before the half finished with a couple of empty raids

It has been a team effort from the Dabang Delhi KC so far and they have played as a unit. They have not let Arjun Deshwal weave his magic and that has exposed the Panther's over-reliance on the star raider who is currently on the bench having picked up just the 2 raid points so far. 

Ashu and Naveen have picked up 4 points each while Yogesh has 3 points in defense and has been impressive yet again. For the Panthers, it has simply not been enough and they need to turn it around in the back-20 to overhaul this 8-point difference.

Will the Panthers make a comeback or will Dabang Delhi keep up their good work? The second half is not far away, don't go anywhere

17' Jaipur Pink Panthers 8-14 Dabang Delhi KC

A few empty raids once again and it is time for the do-or-die raids again! Ashu Malik, the man with the green sleeve went in and he was not going to miss against a defense of 3. He got a running hand touch on Lucky on the right hand side of the defense. Dharanidharan was subbed in for Jaipur and he could only manage a bonus point before getting tackled.

Panthers were down to 1 man and a surrender raid followed which means that Dabang Delhi get the first all-out of the match and they have a healthy lead now

13' Jaipur Pink Panthers 7-9 Dabang Delhi KC

Do-or-die raid for Ashu Malik and he is gifted a point from Abhijeet Malik who had no business trying to go for the ankle hold. Arjun then went in for the next do-or-die raid and he was made to wait till the last second and then captured by a patient Delhi defense, Gaurav Chillar got the point and now Jaipur are down to 3!

11' Jaipur Pink Panthers 7-7 Dabang Delhi KC

Yogesh with a clutch super tackle! Neeraj Narwal went in to raid against a defense of 3 and he was met with a staggering solo tackle from Delhi's best defender in Yogesh who went for the double thigh hold and the scores are level

10' Jaipur Pink Panthers 7-5 Dabang Delhi KC

Naveen picked a bonus to level the scores but then Neeraj Narwal gave the lead back to Panthers with a quick running hand touch on Gaurav Chillar. Surjeet followed it up with yet another frontal block, his second of the day to tackle Naveen Kumar and Delhi were down to 3.

Sandeep stepped out of bounds in the next raid from Arjun but Ashish kept Delhi in it with a raid point as Surjeet tried to dash him but he shrugged him away and got back to the mid-line. Delhi are down to 3 men!

7' Jaipur Pink Panthers 4-3 Dabang Delhi KC

The Naveen Express joins the action! He goes into a do-or-die raid and lures Ankush into a false ankle hold and sends him to the bench. THe next raid was a do-or-die for the Panthers and this time Abhijeet Malik gets a touch on Ashish Malik in the left corner of Delhi

5' Jaipur Pink Panthers 3-2 Dabang Delhi KC

Yogesh returns the favor to Arjun and Arjun Deshwal is on the bench! He gets undone by a brilliant double thigh hold to which he had no answers

3' Jaipur Pink Panthers 3-1 Dabang Delhi KC

Arjun gets another point, again on the right corner, a slick toe touch which is trademark Arjun Deshwal. Then a do-or-die raid follows for Delhi in which Ashu Malik goes in himself but Surjeet was ready for him, A frontal block of the highest quality and Ashu is on the bench

1' Jaipur Pink Panthers 1-1 Dabang Delhi KC

Ashu puts in the first raid and he wins the battle against Ankush in the left corner straightaway. A tentative attempt at an ankle hold from the Jaipur left corner and that was too easy for Ashu

Arjun responds with a brilliant kick of his own immediately in the next raid. He kicks the right corner, the best defender in the Delhi outfit goes on the bench

This has started already how we expected it to!

Hello and good evening from Sourabh as I welcome you to Sportskeeda's continued live coverage of PKL 11. It is time for Match 70 which will see Jaipur Pink Panthers go up against Dabang Delhi KC at the Noida Indoor Stadium.

We are in for a mouth-watering prospect as it is a battle between the two mega raiders, it is Arjun Deshwal vs Ashu Malik, two men who are at the helm of their respective teams and are two of the biggest names going around in the circuit. Ashu Malik is the top raider of the season with 139 raid points in 12 matches but Arjun Deshwal is not too far behind with 108 raid points in just the 10 matches giving him the third spot on the list.

Both these teams are pretty much level right next to each other on the points table as well at number 6 and 7, they have 35 points each but Dabang Delhi KC have played 12 matches as compared to the 10 played by the Pink Panthers.

The return of the Naveen Express has bolstered the Delhi side and he has immediately hit his straps with a 9-point effort on his return. Both the co-skippers of Delhi, Ashu and Naveen will pose a big threat to the best defender of the Panthers in Ankush who will man the left corner. If we speak about Delhi's defense, Yogesh has impressed one and all and he has 34 tackle points in the season so far.

All-in-all, this is set to be a blockbuster clash, fasten your seat belts, folks!
