A one-man raiding show from Arjun Deshwal wasn't enough to save his team from another heavy defeat as the Haryana Steelers dominated a listless Jaipur unit, with their defense, in particular, having a torrid outing.

The Steelers' raiders, Shivam Patare and Vinay, both scored Super 10s, making the most of errors from the Jaipur defense, and they just kept coming throughout the match. Their defense was on point too, and while Arjun Deshwal kept chipping away with almost every raid of his, he was just off the court for too long to make a consistent impact, with Shadloui having another stellar outing.

With that, Haryana get their tenth win of the season and go eight points clear at the top of the points table, while the Jaipur Pink Panthers fall to their fifth defeat in twelve matches.

Ohh, Arjun Deshwal, you just have to feel for him! He has waged a lone battle tonight and in his desperation to enforce the all-out, he pushes a bit too hard against a 2-man Haryana defense, and with Rahul Sethpal on the mat, they get the Super Tackle with ease.

Both teams exchange points one last time before the final whistle blows. It's another dominant performance from the Steelers, who get their tenth win of the season.

Ohh cmon Surjeet Singh, you have to do better than that! Twice in a row he makes an error, conceding a cheap point to the substitute Sanskar Mishra, and he might well have cost his team a chance at getting something from this match. 8 unsuccessful tackles from the veteran, and that's completely unacceptable!

Arjun Deshwal keeps plugging away, and in this kind of form, no one is stopping him as he reduces the Steelers to two once again.

Well, that would've been some tackle if Rahul Sethpal completed it, but the substitute Sombir just about gets away from his solo back-hold attempt after multiple tries.

The Jaipur defense hit back with a rare convincing challenge, and that gets Arjun buzzing as he races in, brushes off a defender and makes his way back to the mid-line.

He follows it up with a well-executed kick on Shadloui, and suddenly, the Steelers are down to two.

Arjun has been so good tonight and is already up to 14 points! It's a shame he has received absolutely no support.

Arjun Deshwal tackled once again, and this time, it comes from the right side of the defense, and the Jaipur captain cuts a frustrated figure as he makes his way to the bench.

It's a do-or-die raid for the Steelers, and Vinay makes it look easy with a diving hand touch on Surjeet in the right cover.

The Steelers have looked super comfortable tonight and make a couple of substitutions to give a few of their subs some game-time.

A well-timed, powerful dash from Surjeet Singh sends Shivam Patare flying off-court. They'll want more of that from the experienced right cover will Jaipur.

Vikash Khandola follows it up with a touch point, getting away well from Naveen's attempted challenge. However, Jaipur review for a second point, not sure what it's for to be completely honest.

Jaipur allege that Shadloui stepped into the lobby before a touch happened, but the replays are clear, the Iranian is safe. Review unsuccessful.

Vinay makes it look easy as he gets the kick on a nervous-looking substitute on the Jaipur left corner, getting to his Super 10 with that point.

Arjun Deshwal pulls one back with a bonus point, but it's been only him doing all the heavy lifting for Jaipur. He's got his Super 10 as well FYI.

Shivam Patare adds to his tally with a swift sliding toe touch on the right corner, but Arjun goes back in and claws them back into the game, drawing and escaping well from Sanjay's dash.

Now Haryana are just having fun here! Jaideep Dahiya attempts an audacious solo tackle, an ankle hold mere inches away from the baulk line on Abhijeet Malik, and does so successfully, much to the delight of his teammates.

Arjun Deshwal gets a running hand touch on Sanjay, but it's still a 15-point deficit for Jaipur as we head into the second timeout. Do they have one last comeback in them?

Reza Mirbagheri may be having a poor night in defense, but he has been productive in the raiding department, picking up a multi-point raid with a confident hand touch on Rahul Sethpal.

Shadloui reduces Jaipur to once again, easily escaping from his compatriot Reza's attempted challenge, but this time around, Jaipur can't avoid the all-out, with the covers dashing Surjeet Singh to help Haryana claim their 2nd all-out of the match.

Super 10 for Shivam Patare as he anticipates the challenge coming in from Vikash Khandola in the right-in position. He has been really good today, forcing the Jaipur defense to make errors with his quick changes of direction and his pace.

Jaipur in dire straits now as they make plenty of substitutions, with both corner defenders subbed off. Surprising call that, considering Lucky Sharma was their only defender in decent form.

Arjun takes on the really tough task of going in for a do-or-die raid against a 5-man Haryana defense and they just bide their time and wait the raider out before Naveen closes it out with another well-timed thigh hold. He has been brilliant tonight and so has the rest of the Haryana defense.

Vinay has a do-or-die raid against a 3-man Jaipur defense, and while they had their eyes set on another Super Tackle, Vinay is too good for the Jaipur defense, slipping away from Ankush's tackle and Lucky's late dash.

Shivam Patare thinks he has an easy task to get to his Super 10 but Lucky Sharma has other ideas. He went in with pace towards the right corner did Shivam, but Lucky absorbed the raider's momentum with a well-timed double knee hold, and while Shivam tried to slip away, the support was really good from the left chain, earning Jaipur a Super Tackle.

What a start to the 2nd half for Haryana this! Shivam Patare starts with a quick touch point, and is now one point away from a Super 10, with Sanjay dashing Abhijeet Malik out in the next raid.

Shadloui then scores his first raid point, using his pace and reach to good effect, getting the touch on a retreating right corner, reducing Jaipur to just two.

However, Reza Mirbagheri delays the all-out for Jaipur, doing enough to stay on the mat after Jaideep attempts a dash, instead pushing the Haryana captain across the mid-line and earning a point for his team.

The action slows down as both teams are content to put in empty raids as we reach half-time.

A commanding ten-point lead for the Steelers on the back of a solid defensive performance and an effective raiding effort to boot. Jaipur have expectedly relied heavily on Arjun Deshwal, but any momentum he creates at the other end is completely undone by some pedestrian defending by their defense, who have only one tackle point to their name, with Shadloui alone outscoring the entire Jaipur defense by two points!

Vinay does well to draw the error from Ankush in the left corner, and in the very next raid, Shivam Patare is gifted one by their right corner. Shambolic defending this from Jaipur, and if not for Arjun's points, they would be in a much worse position.

Well, even Arjun can't keep doing what he's doing for too long, and Shadloui takes instant revenge, executing another well-timed ankle hold on an under-pressure Arjun to take the Steelers' lead to ten points.

Arjun Deshwal gets a running hand touch on Jaideep Dahiya and while Shadloui attempts the pursuit, the referees call him back to allow Jaideep to move to the bench.

The Jaipur defense continues to leak points, and it's Abhishek KS who makes a needless advance tackle.

Finally, Arjun gets Shadloui, catching the Iranian defender off-guard with a quick burst of pace.

Arjun Deshwal executes a near escape from Rahul Sethpal's challenge before Shivam Patare shows great composure, settling for a bonus point in a do-or-die raid and getting it right.

Naveen scores his 2nd tackle point of the night with a crunching block-thigh hold on Abhijeet Malik. That was a ferocious tackle that ended the raid in a matter of a second! Wow.

Surjeet Singh's poor night continues as his attempted dash is mistimed, conceding another cheap point to the Steelers.

The Steelers have only five on the mat, and with no bonus on offer, a do-or-die raid soon beckons, and Abhijeet Malik is tackled in no time. Naveen has a habit of surprising raiders with his well-timed diving ankle holds, and he slips one in on Abhijeet, and with the rock-solid Rahul Sethpal coming in support, the Jaipur raider has no chance of escape.

Meanwhile, Shivam Patare keeps the Steelers' scoreboard moving with a useful bonus point.

Well, the all-out means that Arjun is back on the mat, and the captain delivers immediately, getting away well from Sanjay's advance tackle attempt.

It's taken them nearly ten minutes, but Jaipur finally have their first tackle point courtesy of Lucky Sharma, who stops Vinay right in his tracks with a knee hold that's well supported by the left cover Reza.

As the whistle blows for the timeout, the Steelers have an early 5-point lead.

It's Shivam Patare who strikes next for the Steelers, getting away well from Ankush's attempted challenge, and with Jaipur down to three, Shivam does it again, this time using all his speed to execute a really good running hand touch on the left corner.

Ohh, the Steelers have an all-out in no time! Shadloui makes no mistake with his ankle hold on Abhijeet Malik, reducing Jaipur to one, with Vinay getting an easy surrender raid from the last man.

Problems aplenty for Jaipur as the Steelers show why they're the best team this season!

Ohh terrific toe touch from Arjun Deshwal on the right cover Sanjay to bring Jaipur level before Vinay gets a quick bonus point.

We have an Arjun vs Shadloui battle finally, and it's the Iranian who draws first blood! An assured and calm ankle hold that appears weak initially, but the support arrives in time for Shadloui, sending Arjun to the bench for the first time this evening.

Vinay then attempts the reverse kick on Lucky, drawing Reza into a rash dash attempt, escaping with ease.

The Steelers have gained the early advantage here.

A do-or-die raid very early on for Jaipur, and Abhijeet Malik does really well to ride Sanjay's dash and make it to the mid-line before his body moves outside the court, also getting a bonys in the process.. Arjun Deshwal finally gets off the mark with a bonus point in the third time of asking.

Surjeet Singh gives a cheap one away to the quick Shivam Patare, who sneaks in a bonus point as well, and the rest of the defense do well to not concede more touch points.

An empty raid to start things off for a cautious Arjun Deshwal. Vinay steps up first for the Steelers, and even he plays it safe against the Jaipur defense.

After avoiding Shadloui in the first raid, a careful Arjun goes the Iranian's way in his 2nd raid and attempts the bonus multiple times, but to his surprise, it isn't given.

With no points in the first 90 seconds, Vinay opens the account for his side with a two-point raid, and while Reza Mirbagheri's dash does send him off court, Vinay does well to get his hand past the mid-line before that happens.
