What a statement win from the defending champions! Puneri Paltan break their four-match winless streak in style, delivering a dominant performance to put Bengal Warriorz further into the doldrums with their fifth straight defeat.

It was a clinical display by Pune, with Akash Shinde and Mohit Goyat leading the raid department with nine points each, ably supported by skipper Pankaj Mohite's smart rotations. In defense, Mohit shone bright with a brilliant High 5, but it was truly a team effort that shut down Fazel Atrachali and the Bengal unit.

For Bengal, Nitin Kumar's Super 10 came far too late, and their defense was in shambles, gifting easy points. Fazel Atrachali, the defensive lynchpin, had an off day, leaving plenty of questions for Bengal to answer before their next game.

The Pune defense are gifting away points towards the end now. A multi point raid for Akash as he escapes Gaurav Khatri and Vaibhav Kamble. 

Aryavardhan Navale is making the opportunity count as he gets a running hand touch on Vaibhav Garje, stationed at the right cover. 

Mohit completes his well deserved High 5 at the left corner. A block to taken down Akash Chavhan. 

Final raid of the match and atlast Fazel has something to smile about. A disappointing day for him ends with a consolation prize as he blocks down Amir Hassan. Sends the raider back with a pat on his head.

What a great block by Gaurav Khatri. Sees the back of Akash and immediately pounces from the right corner to stop the raider. 

Amit Hassan, another sub for Pune comes in for raid. However, he is taken down by Vaibhav Garje at the right cover. 

A multi-point raid for Nitin Kumar. First he gets a kick on Satyappa at the left corner and then escapes the support from Gaurav Khatri. 

36' Puneri Paltan 46-23 Bengal Warriorz

Substitute Aryavardhan Navale comes in and immediately takes a point with ease. An easy escape from Vaibhav Garje's ankle hold at the right cover.

DO OR DIE RAID FOR BENGAL WARRIORZ! Mohit tried for an ankle hold for Pranay Rane but it was too close to the midline and thus the raider finds a way back easily. Vaibhav Kamble, who came for support also has to go back. Two points for Pranay.

DO OR DIE RAID FOR PUNERI PALTAN! And Akash Shinde continues his form tonight as he goes in deep at the right corner and gets an easy touch on Nitesh Kumar. 

DO OR DIE RAID FOR BENGAL WARRIORZ NOW! Akash Chavhangets a bonus but is taken down by a solo ankle hold by Gaurav Khatri at the right corner.

ALL OUT! Puneri Paltan inflict yet another all out. Last man Praveen Thakur in defense and he gives away the point to Pankaj. 

32' Puneri Paltan 39-20 Bengal Warriorz

SUPER TACKLE! First one of the night. Mohit tried for a flying hand touch but Praveen Thakur comes right in time with a block. It was a close one but great support from the Bengal defense. 

Nitin Kumar tries for a bonus under right corner but Mohit was the man there and he gets a perfect ankle hold.

Gaurav Khatri gets his revenge on Pranay Rane. A perfect ankle hold by the right corner and the raider had no answers. However, Pranay managed to secure a bonus before being taken down.

Finally a point for Bengal and it comes through Pranay Rane who escapes an advance ankle hold from Gaurav Khatri at the right corner. 

Mohit Goyat replies with another running hand touch. Once again on Vaibhav Garje at the right cover. 

26' Puneri Paltan 36-16 Bengal Warriorz

ALL OUT! Third one of the night for Puneri Paltan. Nitesh Kumar gets a bonys under the left corner but Mohit gets a perfect ankle hold. 

Pune increase their lead as Akash gets a running hand touch on Praveen Thakur. 

Akash Chavhan is taken down by Sanket Sawant at the left cover. The raider goes for a running hand touch but Sanket was ready and thus took down Akash with ease. 

Fazel has been left clueless by the Pune raiders. Yet again Mohit Goyat gets an easy touch on Fazel's touch and the Iranian goes back disappointed. 

24' Puneri Paltan 30-15 Bengal Warriorz

What a raid from the skipper Pankaj Mohite. Goes in deep at the left but finds the chain from right corner blocking him. Pankaj pulls off a Hi-flying jump and it's a SUPER RAID! Hem Raj, Pranay Rane and Akash Chavhan are the ones who have to go back. 

Nitin continues to add points with a bonus under the left corner. 

Puneri Paltan add another point here as Mohit Goyat gets a running hand touch on Vaibhav Garje at the right cover. 

Silly from Pankaj Mohite now. Goes for an advance ankle hold but gives away a free touch point to Nitin Kumar. 

Mohit continues to take points and once again with a running hand touch. This time it comes on Manjeet at the left cover.

Bengal begin the second half with a much needed point. Nitin Kumar entices with his ankles and Mohit Goyat couldn't resist himself and gives away a point. 

A poor outing for Fazel so far. Akash Shinde puts pressure with his pace and Fazel loses his balance and ends up in the lobby.

HALF-TIME! Puneri Paltan 24-11 Bengal Warriorz

It's been all Pune in the first half! The defending champions came out with intent, inflicting two all-outs to create a commanding lead. Akash Shinde and Mohit Goyat have been electric in the raids, weaving through Bengal's defense effortlessly. Bengal, on the other hand, have been their own worst enemy with some reckless tackles adding to their woes.

Stay tuned, the second half promises more drama. Can Bengal stage a fightback or will Pune continue their dominance?

An advance ankle hold from Vaibhav Garje at the right cover which gives an easy escape route to Pankaj Mohite.

Puneri Paltan push for another all-out here. Akash Shinde goes in deep and escapes an ankle hold by Manjeet at the left in.

What a dash by Abinesh here from the right cover. Sushil was trying for a running hand touch but Abinesh was ready from behind as he pushes the raider out of bounds.

Bengal are down to one man now. Mohit gets an easy touch on Fazel Atrachali at the left corner.

ALL OUT!! An easy all out for Puneri Paltan as Vaibhav Garje steps out of bounds in an attempt for a running hand touch on the right corner.

Sultan Fazel Atrachali gets his first tackle of the night. It was a freebie actually for the Iranian. Mohit got a kick on Fazel at the left corner but slipped down and thus was tackled down by the Bengal defense. 

Poor from Mohit here at the left corner. Pranay Rane was on his way with an empty raid but Mohit comes from behind half-heartedly and gives away a point. 

Akash Shinde gets the revenge for his teammate with a running hand touch on Pranay Rane at the left in. 

12' Puneri Paltan 14-8 Bengal Warriorz

DO OR DIE RAID FOR BENGAL WARRIORZ! The young and quick Sushil Kambrekar is in for them and he produces a raid of pure strength. Attempts a bonus first under the left in. Doesn't get one. However, he escapes the block of Abinesh like a bull along with Sanket who tried to support from behind. 

Mohit Goyat replies with a point of his own. A skillful running hand touch as he goes deep towards the right corner to get the better of Hem Raj. 

10' Puneri Paltan 13-6 Bengal Warriorz

Last raid before the timeout and Pune go in happily as Akash Shinde gets a running hand touch on Sagar Kumar at the left corner. 

8' Puneri Paltan 12-6 Bengal Warriorz

What a tackle from Hem Raj at the right corner here. Comes from behind and gets a perfect ankle hold on Mohit Goyat who had no clue. 

Holy Moly!! That's some skill from Akash Shinde. Gets a running kick right in the perfect spot on the hands of Pranay Rane and Fazel Atrachali both on the left side. A two-pointer raid for Akash here. 

DO OR DIE RAID FOR BENGAL WARRIORZ! Their main man Nitin Kumar attempts for a bonus under the left corner but ends up giving his ankle to Mohit. 

6' Puneri Paltan 9-5 Bengal Warriorz

A  silly mistake from Sagar Kumar at the left corner here for Bengal. Mohit Goyat came running towards him but was too close to the midline. Sagar tried for a double thigh hold but couldn't stop Mohit.

DO OR DIE RAID FOR BENGAL WARRIORZ! Pranay Rane is in for the Warriorz but gives away his ankle to Mohit at the left corner. However, he gets a bonus though to share points. 

Three men left for the Warriorz in defense and Akash Shinde reduces them to 2 courtesy of an escape from Hem Raj at the right corner. 

Puneri Paltan push for an all-out now as Abinesh Nadarajan dashes Nitin Kumar out from the right cover. 

ALL OUT! Vaibhav, last man in for Bengal, gives away the point to Mohit Goyat and Pune in control now.

That is just brilliant athleticism from the young Akash Shinde. He waits until the final seconds of the raid before diving towards the left cover Manjeet and securing a flying hand touch.
