Full Time : Tamil Thalaivas 60-29 Bengal Warriorz

We have seen one of the most high scoring games in the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 and it's a shame that the victorious team, the Tamil Thalaivas are already out of play off contention. They played for pride and managed to demolish the Bengal Warriorz, notching up their biggest ever win in the season. They scored a whopping 60 points as their raiders had an absolute field day while the Bengal team collapsed under pressure.

The stars of the show for the Tamil Thalaivas were Moein Shafaghi and Himanshu. The latter in particular was pivotal in the second half as he managed to get 13 points to his name as did Moein. Sai Prasad had 6 points to his credit but he was the game changer in the first half as he had found the chink in the armour of the Warriorz with a super raid worth four points. The defense pair of Aashish and Nitesh Kumar were also excellent under pressure as they got four and seven points respectively. They kept the raiders on tenterhooks.

The Bengal Warriorz didn't really have a clue as to what struck them and they failed to stop the onslaught by the Tamil raiders. Manjeet was the only one to save the blushes for them as he got 7 points to his name. They had to use almost all their players from the bench as they used 13 of the 14 players.

The only consolation for them was to see Taiwan international, Chia Ming Chang get a game and he picked up four points to his credit. The defense was absolutely dismal as the likes of Nitesh, Sagar and Praveen couldn't find a way to stop the duo of Himanshu and Moein. Overall, this is not the way in which the Warriorz would have wanted to end their tournament and they will need to do some soul searching after this performance.
40' Second Half

Tamil Thalaivas 60-29 Bengal Warriorz

Himanshu picked up a couple of points with touches on Chang and Deep Kumar. Pranay Rane was tackled next and that meant the Warriorz had faced the all-out for the fourth time in the game.

Moein Shafaghi was tackled next for the Tamil Thalaivas by Hem Raj. Ming Chang got a touch on Amir Hosein Bastami and he continued his good run. Himanshu was up again and this time he returned with a bonus point.

Garje was in for the Bengal Warriorz next and he was chain tackled by the defense with Himanshu taking the charge. Chang was in again for the Warriorz and his dream run continued. Anuj made a mistake and he got a faint touch on him. Moein Shafaghi was in for the penultimate raid and he was tackled by Tatkare.

The final raid of the night was by Chang and he was super tackled by Aashish to end the game. It meant that the Thalaivas finished off with 60 points on the night and it was a spectacular effort from them.
