The Tamil Thalaivas have finished their campaign off on a high and they've managed to defeat the Bengaluru Bulls in a closely contested game here. They had to pull ahead in the second half as they came in on the back of a one point lead. In the end they won by 10 points as they held on to their nerves and managed to get the raid points just at the right times. 

 Himanshu put in a giant raid earlier in the second half and it inflicted the all-out on the Bengaluru Bulls. It increased the advantage for the Thalaivas to a substantial lead and from there they didn't leave the advantage. Himanshu had 13 points while Moein Shafaghi ended the night with 9 points, just one shy of super 10. However it was the defense quartet of Nitesh Kumar, Amir Hosein. Aashish and Abhishek Manokaran, who all stepped up to the occasion and picked up at least three points to keep the Bulls raiders at bay. 

The Bengaluru Bulls raiders struggled to penetrate the Tamil Thalaivas defense and couldn't get them all-out even once. Pardeep Narwal was able to get just four points and looked out of touch. Sushil was the player who literally carried the team on his shoulders as he managed to get 15 points. Nitin Rawal got five points but the rest of the defense wasn't really up to the mark. The Bulls will be ruing the fact that they couldn't convert their chances despite being ahead for the first 10 minutes of the game. 

40' Second Half

Tamil Thalaivas 42-32 Bengaluru Bulls

Sai Prasad picked up another running hand touch on a do-or-die raid on Lucky Kumar. Sushil was up next and he was tackled by Nitesh Kumar of the Thalaivas. 

Sai Prasad was happy to remain on the mat as he had an empty raid. Pardeep Narwal picked up a couple of points with a superb raid and he got his back to the touch line. Moein Shafaghi did lure the Bengaluru Bulls defense but he didn't pick up any points. 

Sushil was up next and he failed to get a point as he was tackled by Nitesh Kumar. Sai Prasad was tackled by Nitin Rawal and Sushil was able to destroy the defense and pick up a couple of points. 

Moein Shafaghi picked up a bonus point with less than 30 seconds remaining on the clock. Sushil picked up a point of the penultimate raid of the night and the final raid was from Himanshu. He was willing to waste some time and was able to get another couple of points. 

37' Second Half

Tamil Thalaivas 37- 26 Bengaluru Bulls

Himanshu got the touch on Nitin Rawal and inflicted the all-out for the second time on the Bengaluru Bulls. He was finally tackled by Rawal in his next raid but the difference was up to 12 points for the Thalaivas. 

Moein Shafaghi had an empty raid next and Sushil was up for the Bulls. He managed to get over the line and got in a raid at the right point of time. 

Sai Prasad came in for the Tamil Thalaivas and he settled without a point. They took a time-out with three minutes left on the clock and an 11 points  lead in their kitty. 

34' Seconf Half

Tamil Thalaivas 33-23 Bengaluru Bulls

Ajinkya Pawar was tackled by Bastami and inflicted the all-out on the Bengaluru Bulls. The misery was increased further by Himanshu who got in a Super-Raid and he picked up four points. The lead increased to 10 points for the Thalaivas. 

Pardeep Narwal was tackled by Nitesh who got a thigh hold on him and the all-out loomed large on the Bengaluru Bulls. Moein Shafaghi got in a raid point for the Thalaivas. 

Sushil saved the Bulls from an all-out with a couple of points. Moein Shafaghi was in next and he got a touch on the substitute defender to reduce the Bulls to just one player. Nitin Rawal managed to take the bonus point though. 

31' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 23-19 Bengaluru Bulls
 
Moein Shafaghi was tackled by Naveen and it was a raw super tackle for the Bulls. It fetched them two crucial points. Pankaj was in for the next raid for the Bulls and he failed to keep his balance on the mat and ended up being out into the lobby. 

Himanshu came in next for the Tamil Thalaivas and he couldn't get any points. Sushil put in a quick raid but without any points. Himanshu was in for the do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and he escaped the grasp of Naveen. 

Sushil was in for a do-or-die raid and he converted it successfully as he picked up a bonus point. Moein Shafaghi managed to get a back kick on Sushil to head into the final strategic time-out of the night. 

26' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 20-15  Bengaluru Bulls

Tamil Thalaivas had a successful raid next as Sai Prasad got in a touch on Parteek. Pardeep Narwal was tackled by Aashish. Moein Shafaghi had an empty raid. 

Sai Prasad came in for the Thalaivas with a super tackle opportunity for the Bengaluru Bulls but it was an empty raid. Sushil also had an empty raid next to increase the pressure on the Bulls. 

23' Second Half

Tamil Thalaivas 17-15 Bengaluru Bulls

Pankaj had an empty raid for the Bengaluru Bulls but Himanshu managed to get a touch on Saurabh Nandal. Pardeep Narwal got through the defense and he picked up a couple of points. 

Sai Prasad went in for the Tamil Thalaivas and he claimed a touch on Lucky Kumar. It was upheld by the review. Pankaj was tackled from front on by  Abhishek Manokaran. 

Half Time : Tamil Thalaivas 14-13 Bengaluru Bulls

At the end of the first half, there is barely anything to separate between the two sides. The Tamil Thalaivas though will be the happier of the two sides they came back from behind to get a 1 point lead at the end of the first half. Moein Shafaghi and Himanshu pulled in the raids for them while Amir Hosein Bastami got in the tackles at the correct time in the defense. 

The Bengaluru Bulls legend, Pardeep Narwal had a tough time as did Ajinkya Pawar. The two raiders couldn't get their act together as a young Sushil carried the team with his raiding prowess getting 6 points. Saurabh Nandal and Nitin Rawal combined well in the defense to get a couple of points each. 

20' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 14-13 Bengaluru Bulls
 
Ajinkya Pawar finally managed to get a touch on Amir Hosein Bastami. Himanshu was up next and he had an empty raid. The Tamil Thalaivas got in a super tackle as Pawar was tackled. 

Himanshu was up next for the Tamil Thalaivas. He had an empty raid. Sushil was in for the Bengaluru Bulls and he was tackled by his ankle just inches away from the touch line. It was Abhishek Manokaran who put in that superb raid. 

Moein Shafaghi was in for the penultimate raid of the first half and he was tackled by Nitin Rawal and Saurabh Nandal in what was a joint effort. Nitin Rawal went in for the final raid of the first half and it was an empty raid. 

17' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 9-11 Bengaluru Bulls

Moein Shafaghi went in for the do-or-die raid for the Tamil Thalaivas and he was tackled by Nitin Rawal. Sushil of the Bulls was also taken down by Amir Hosein Bastami courtesy a thigh hold. 

Sai Prasad failed to get a point in his first raid. Ajinkya Pawar went in for the Bengaluru Bulls and once again failed to get a point even from his fifth raid. Sai Prasad was up next and he was tackled by Saurabh Nandal. 

14' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 8-9 Bengaluru Bulls

The Bengaluru Bulls began the second half with Sushil having an empty raid. Moein Shafaghi too had an empty one for the Tamil Thalaivas. Sushil had another empty raid again. 

Moein Shafaghi went in for the do-or-die raid and he managed to get a back kick on Lucky Kumar to sneak in a point. Sushil picked up a point next for the Bulls as he dived after getting a touch on Aashish. 

Himanshu was next for the Thalaivas and he struggled to get a touch on any of the defenders. Nitin Rawal failed to get a raid point next and Himanshu was also unable to breach the defense. 

11' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 7-8 Bengaluru Bulls

Sushil put in the first super raid of the night as he took out Aashish, Manokaran and Bastami as he ploughed through the defense. Moein Shafaghi managed to get a point back for the Thalaivas.

Sushil was up again and he reduced the defense to just three for the Thalaivas as he got a running hand touch on Sai Prasad. Moein Shafaghi was up next and he got a touch on Saurabh Nandal.

Ajinkya Pawar had a crucial raid for the Bulls and he was tackled in a bizarre fashion. Aashish was the one who tackled him an then the other defenders came in from behind. Himanshu was up next for the Thalaivas and he failed to get a point before the time-out.  

6' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 3-4 Bengaluru Bulls

Sushil had a successful raid as he got a touch on Sai Prasad. Himanshu had an empty raid next for the Tamil Thalaivas. Ajinkya Pawar came in for the Bengaluru Bulls but failed to get a point. 

Himanshu was tackled by his ankle by Parteek and it was a much needed one for his side. Sushil went in for the next raid for the Bengaluru Bulls and he didn't risk getting out. 

Aashish quickly finished his raid and it was an empty one. Ajinkya Power went down in a do-or-die raid and for the Thalaivas it was Amir Hosein Bastami who got in the tackle. 

3' First Half

Tamil Thalaivas 2-2  Bengaluru Bulls

Moein Shafaghi went in for the first raid of the night and picked up a bonus point straightaway for the Thalaivas. Pardeep Narwal went in for the raid for the Bulls but he wasn't able to get a point. 

Himanshu was wasn't able to get a point and he was tackled by Parteek. Ajinkya Pawar went in for the Bengaluru Bulls but he returned without a point. 

It enforced the do-or-die raid on the Bulls and Pardeep Narwal was tackled by Amir Hosein Bastami. Moein Shafaghi was tackled by Parteek Dahiya.

Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of this Pro Kabaddi League 2024 game between the Tamil Thalaivas and the Bengaluru Bulls. Taking you through the contest will be myself, Soumarya Dutta. 

It's time for Match 127 of season 11 and it will be the Bengal Warriors taking on the Tamil Thalaivas. The Tamil Thalaivas are coming into this contest on the back of a massive win against the Bengal Warriors. The Bengaluru Bulls on the other hand also suffered a loss against the Jaipur Pink Panthers in their previous encounter and will want to end the season on a high. 

The Tamil Thalaivas are placed at number 9 in the points table. Moein Shafaghi has been the talisman for the Thalaivas this season in the raiding department. He has racked up an incredible 94 points from 13 games and scored a super 10 in his last game. The defense on the other hand has been led by Nitesh Kumar who has 69 tackle points to his name. Another Iranian Amir Hosein Bastami is also a player to watch out for as he is the brink of amassing 40  points in the season. 

Pardeep Narwal, the Dubki King and Nitin Rawal will be the main raiders for the Bengaluru Bulls and they have been in exceptional form. Narwal has accumulated 101 raid points in 18 games. Nitin Rawal has also been exceptional for them as he has 71 points from 20 games. The defense will be lead by Saurabh Mandal who has 33 tackle points from 18 games. 

Overall, the Tamil Thalaivas have faced the Bengaluru Bulls 15 times throughout the tournament. They've been victorious on a record 12 occasions amidst them. The Bulls will be fighting for their pride and they will be keen to get in a victory to finish off their campaign on a high.
