Tamil Thalaivas ended the contest when they inflicted all-outs twice on the Giants. The Giants did come back as they managed to inflict an all out but that wasn't enough. Guman Singh got only one point off the five raids he put while Rakesh failed to make an impact, picking up two points. 

The Thalaivas did a fine job in both raiding and defence. Sourabh Fagare picked up seven points while Aashish had a High 5. Their star of the day was Moein Shafaghi as he picked up 13 points putting in raids and tackles as they ensured that the Thalaivas were in the lead throughout.

This will be a bottom of the table clash here at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune. Both teams are aiming to climb to the top spot and ensure that they are able to get a couple of wins and have a shot at making it to the play offs.

Tamil Thalaivas are currently seated at ninth in the points table. With five wins in 15 games, they will have to win their remaining games and ensure they are able to have a crack at one of the spots in the top six. As for Gujarat Giants, their race is as good as run. They currently languish at 11th place with four wins in 15 games and will be looking to play for pride with their chances of a playoff as thin as paper.
