FULL-TIME! Tamil Thalaivas 30-42 Haryana Steelers

And there we have it! Haryana Steelers continue to assert their dominance at the top of the table, securing a solid 42-30 win over Tamil Thalaivas. It was a complete team performance from the Steelers, with both the raiding and defense departments standing firm. Vinay and Shivam Patare were exceptional in the raids, but it was their defense that really put the stamp on this win. Rahul Sethpal with a high-flying High 5, and Naveen’s all-round contribution made sure the Thalaivas never really stood a chance.

Despite a valiant effort from Nitesh Kumar, who recorded six tackle points, the Tamil Thalaivas just couldn’t get going. Sachin Tanwar, their star raider, had a tough night, going scoreless from nine raids. Moein Shafaghi’s late surge with a Super 10 couldn’t make up for the early damage.

It was a performance full of clinical efficiency from Haryana and a disappointing one from Tamil Thalaivas, who will need to regroup and come back stronger in their next outing.

Rahul Sethpal replies from the other end as he also gets his 6th tackle point. What a solo block from the right corner as Chandran Ranjith was left clueless. 

Vishal state comes in as a sub and gets a running hand touch on Ronak. 

Moein responds with a running hand touch of his own on Sanjay the right cover. 

What a jump from Vishal Tate here. Moein comes for a double thigh hold but Vishal jumps over him and escapes back. 

Silly from Shadloui here as he gifts away a point to Sourabh Fagare with an advance block. 

Vishal Tate gets a bonus under the right corner Amir Hossein but the latter was ready with a perfect ankle hold. 

Rahul Sethpal tries for an ankle hold at the right corner but lack of support meant that Moein finds his way back easily. 

A multi-point raid from Sanskar Mishra to add salt to the wounds of Thalaivas. Amir Hossein tries for an ankle hold but Sanskar escapes and gets a touch on Ronak as well. 

SUPER 10 for Moein Shafaghi! Too late though as he gets a double blow in the form of Sanjay and Naveen in the last raid of the game.

Moein comes again quickly trying for a kick on the left corner but Rahul comes from the other side and dashes the Iranian out.

Shadloui wins the battle with his Iranian counterpart Moein courtesy of a brilliant back hold from the left corner.

High 5 for Nitesh Kumar! Another ankle hold from him and this time on Naveen at the left corner. 

High 5 for Rahul Sethpal as well! Gets an ankle hold on Saurabh Fagare at the right corner. 

36' Tamil Thalaivas 21-33 Haryana Steelers

A silly attempt from Shadloui from the left corner as he goes for an advance block on Moein. Sanjay also comes for support but the raider was too close to the midline. 

A pursuit from Moein and Shivam wasn't ready for it and thus loses his balance and goes out of bounds. 

34' Tamil Thalaivas 18-33 Haryana Steelers

Chandran Ranjith gets a quick bonus under the right in defender.

Shadloui pursuits immediately and he takes down two defenders in the process escaping Ranjith Chandran and Moein Shafaghi.

ALL-OUT! What a quick all out this has been from the Haryana Steelers. Amit Hossein gets a bonus under right corner but ends up giving his ankle to Rahul. 

An attempt of ankle hold from Nitesh Kumar at the left corner but Vinay finds his way back with ease.

All in for the Thalaivas after the all-out and Moein immediately begins with a running hand touch on Jaideep at the left cover. 

Moein then adds a point in defense as well with an ankle hold on Shivam Patare at the right in. 

Sourabh Fagare comes in as a sub for the Thalaivas and gives Shadloui his first tackle of the night as the latter blocks him down from the left corner. 

SUPER RAID! Vinay, you beauty! That was some skill from the raider. He was trapped in the Thalaivas defense but turns and twists to find himself past the midline taking Ronak, Aashish, and Nitesh as his preys. 

30' Tamil Thalaivas 14-23 Haryana Steelers

Vinay follows it up with a running hand touch on Nitin Chandel. 

Moein responds with a bonus under the left corner. 

The Thalaivas are on the verge of an all-out as Jaideep gets his first point of the night with a dash on Moein from the left cover.

ALL OUT! Aashish is the last man for the Thalaivas and he surrenders himself to Vinay.

DO OR DIE RAID FOR TAMIL THALAIVAS! What an asset Naveen is proving to be. Another point in defense for him as he blocks Chandran Ranjith from the left in.

26' Tamil Thalaivas 13-17 Haryana Steelers

A double blow from Naveen and this time in raid. Escapes an ankle hold first from Nitesh Kumar followed by a block from Amir Hossein coming from the right corner. Naveen has been contributing on both ends of the mat tonight. 

Shivam's pace becomes his own enemy this time as he loses control and enters the lobby without any touch. However, the referee has awarded a point each to both sides, claiming Ronak was out as well. The Thalaivas have reviewed it but it is unsuccessful and a point each is awarded to both sides.

Shadloui is out for the first time tonight and it was a mistake of his own. Goes for an advance but half-hearted dash but Chandran Ranjith gets an easy touch.

DO OR DIE RAID FOR TAMIL THALAIVAS! It's Sachin yet again. And the same story repeats as Naveen, from the right in, get another ankle hold on the raider.

HALF-TIME! Tamil Thalaivas 10-13 Haryana Steelers

A close and cagey first half with both sides testing the waters, but it’s the Haryana Steelers who edge ahead, looking the more composed unit. Their defense has been sharp, with Rahul Sethpal and Naveen leading the way. Shivam Patare and Vinay have chipped in steadily with raids, while Shadloui’s silent but intimidating presence has kept Tamil Thalaivas on the back foot.

For Tamil Thalaivas, it’s been a one-man show in defense as Nitesh Kumar stands tall with three brilliant tackle points. But Sachin’s off-day so far (zero points in seven raids) has left them struggling to find a rhythm.

DO OR DIE RAID FOR HARYANA STEELERS! And Nitesh Kumar shines yet again for the Thalaivas in defense. Another ankle hold from him and this time on Vinay at the left corner. He is single-handedly keeping the Thalaivas in the hunt.

Nitesh is such a versatile player for the Thalaivas. Playing at multiple positions, he gets an ankle hold on Shivam at the left corner. 

DO OR DIE RAID FOR TAMIL THALAIVAS! Sachin takes the responsibility again in search of his first point. But he goes down again as Naveen from the right in locks the raider with an ankle hold.

Ahh, that's sad for Vinay. He manages to escape a block from the right corner but found his foot in the lobby before contact and thus has to go back. 

Another point for Rahul Sethpal as comes from behind with a back hold on Moein. Shadloui from front was right there for support. 

Last raid before the timeout and Shivam Patare escapes an ankle hold from Amir Hossein at the right corner.
