Now, diving into the match, it was a clinical display from U Mumba. Ajit Chouhan was an absolute powerhouse, racking up 15 raid points and pulling off multiple multi-point raids to keep the Pirates on the backfoot. In defense, young Lokesh notched three tackle points, all through textbook ankle holds on Devank Dalal. Sunil Kumar was his usual commanding self, registering a High 5 and forming an ironclad duo with Parvesh. 

For the Pirates, it was a day of mixed fortunes. Devank Dalal got himself a Super 10 but found himself tackled six times, unable to escape the Mumba defensive wall. Their defense showed flashes of brilliance but also leaked some soft points, which tilted the game in U Mumba’s favor.

Mukilan has sacrificed himself here as he tries for an advance ankle hold on Devank.

That's silly here from Gurdeep! He had blocked down Ajit in what could have been an all-out! But Ajit pushes him past the midline and thus the raider is deemed safe. Patna have reviewed it but it's unsuccessful.

Sunil Kumar sacrifices himself this time. Goes for an ankle hold on Devank but the latter escapes. Just one point for Patna.

Rohit Raghav runs the clock down and comes back empty handed.

A multi-point raid for Ayan here. He goes in deep at the right corner to escape an ankle hold from Rinku and then gets a touch on Lokesh too on his way back.

A silly advance ankle hold from Rinku but tall Sudhakar finds a way back with ease. 

Unfortunate here for Patna Pirates. They had easily dashed down Manjeet but at the end, Sudhakar goes out of bounds to share a point each. 

HALF-TIME! U Mumba 24-14 Patna Pirates

It was a first half filled with high-octane energy and tension, but U Mumba held their nerves for the majority of the time to take a 10-point lead in the second half. Ajit is already close to his Super 10 and has got brilliant support from Manjeet and Rohit. Even the defense has been top-notch, with young Lokesh taking down Devank twice. 

For Patna, Devank and Ayan are yet to fire whereas Deepak has been the only bright spot with three tackle points. Patna needs a massive turnaround to keep their hopes alive, while U Mumba will aim to maintain their momentum in the second half. Stay tuned for what promises to be an action-packed conclusion!

Lokesh has once again taken down Devank. Second time tonight. Another ankle hold from the left corner defender to pin Devank down. 

Manjeet now gets a bonus under the left corner but is dashed down by Deepak from the right cover. 

Ayan has been tackled yet again. The duo of Parvesh and Sunil manages to block Ayan down.

U Mumba are up and running once again as Rinku gets a well-timed ankle hold on Ayan at the right corner. 

Speed and strength from Ajit Chouhan as he escapes an ankle hold from Navdeep with ease and class. 

A close escape for Devank but Patna would take this. He gets a bonus first under the left corner and then escapes a dash from Sunil Kumar. 

Ajit Chouhan is been taken down by the Patna defense. Shubham gets this point but it was the support that actually helped pin Ajit down.

ALL OUT! U Mumba inflict the first all-out within the first 10 minutes. Parvesh and Sunil go for a dash on Sudhakar, who just manages to get a bonus. 

Patna Pirates push for a comeback as Gudeep gets an ankle hold on Manjeet from the left cover. 

Devank gets his revenge on Lokesh. Kicks Lokesh on the back to get his first touch point.

Ayan gets a point in his first raid. Lose from Rinku here who goes for an advance ankle hold but Ayan was quick to escape.

U Mumba have had a pretty good campaign but have fallen just a little out of favour, not having the best of performances in their last few matches. They could be in a bit of a pickle if they lose this game and it will be very crucial for them to win. 

Patna Pirates, on the other hand, have already qualified after their win yesterday. But they will have their eyes on the top two spot. A win today will go a long way in helping them trying to secure a spot in the semi-finals directly.
