68' Raynier Fernandes replaces Anirudh Thapa in the centre of midfield in order to gain more control of the match.

66' Chhetri's through ball is chased down by the speedster Udanta Singh and he delivers a beautiful cross across the box but Manvir Singh got too ahead and missed the ball.

64' Jamal Bhuyan becomes the first player to be booked on the night. After multiple challenges on Chhetri and team, the Bangladesh skipper finally enters the referee's book.

60' CLEARED OFF THE LINE! Anirudh Thapa's corner finds Anas in the crowded box and the defender's header is cleared off the line by Biplu who helps Ashraful in keeping the clean sheet.

57' Igor Stimac makes his first change of the night and he wants goals. Brandon Fernandes comes on for Mandar Rao Dessai. India changing their formation and going 3 at the back.

55' Ibrahim makes a run down the left wing and pulls off a cross-shot which hits the crossbar and comes back out. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu was beaten as he couldn't move but the woodwork came to his rescue.

50' Sahal Abdul Samad has been on the front foot creating a couple of chances with his excellent vision and creativity but Bangladesh defenders are helped by their skipper who clears. Bangladesh go through at the other end and force a good save out of Gurpreet and win a corner.

48' The second half has kicked off and the first couple of minutes have been a mirror of the first half with India's sloppy passing and Bangladesh's hard defending continuing as it was.

Igor Stimac needs to go back to the drawing board as India's plan have not worked in the first half with the hosts struggling to create chances in the opposition half.

INDIA 0-1 BANGLADESH
Saad Uddin gave Bangladesh a 1-0 lead going into the break. The visitors were the better side throughout the match as they executed the game plan properly and the hosts are trailing at the back.

42' A free kick from the left is lofted into the box and Gurpreet comes out in hopes of collecting the ball but makes a blunder and Saad Uddin's header hits the back of the net opening the scoring on the night.

39' Anas Edathodika's long ball find Chhetri's head but his header is straight at the goalkeeper and is easily saved.

34' Rahul Bheke's long throw finds Manvir Singh at the edge of the six-yard box and the tall forward heads it towards goal but Ashraful comes up with a fine finger-tip save.

31' A horrible mistake from Adil Khan allows Biplu Ahmed to go through on goal but Gurpreet Singh Sandhu comes up with a crucial save at the near post.

26' Anirudh Thapa takes a free kick from 25 yards and plays it short to Sahal Abdul Samad who tries to find Chhetri but the Indian skipper fails to reach to the ball and complains to the referee about tugging and pulling in the penalty box.

23' The match is entering its second quarter. The first quarter have surprised many fans with Bangladesh creating a few chances with their quick play and the Indian team failing to find the final pass.

17' Sunil Chhetri's corner finds the unmarked Rahul Bheke at the penalty spot but the 28-year old again fails to make the most of the opportunity presented to him.

15' Bangladesh win a corner at the other end of the pitch. Skipper Jamal Bhuyan takes the corner which finds Yeasin Khan whose shot goes way over the intended target.

10' Sunil Chhetri's corner routine finds Rahul Bheke at the back post but the Bengaluru FC defender fails to direct his header towards the goal and the Bangladesh defenders were able to clear.

8' India have had a clumsy start in the match. Anas Edathodika gives away the ball cheaply and Rahul Bheke has to track back, push the Bangladesh forward in the box and get the ball from him.

4' A long ball played towards Manvir Singh ends up with Ashique who passes to Sunil Chhetri and the skipper takes a volley which is easily saved by the Bangladesh goalkeeper, Ashraful Rana.

1' The teams have walked out and the players have taken their position. Bangladesh are playing in green and white while Indian players are clad in blue. The visitors kick off the proceedings.

Igor Stimac spoke about reforming the standards of football in the country when he took over the vacant head coach post but India have failed to win any of their last five matches, losing three and drawing two. A 0-0 draw against Qatar was a statement but India have to do better in upcoming matches if they want to qualify for the 2023 AFC Cup.
