AEW Collision Live Results (June 8, 2024): BACKSTAGE ATTACK, Toni Storm makes huge announcement, Dustin Rhodes warns top star, WWE legend returns

Post-match, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly show respect to one another. Trent Beretta and Kyle Fletcher lay down a beatdown on Cassidy and KOR tries to make the save. Kris Statlander also makes her way out to the ring before Willow Nightingale chases the heels away.

OC connects with a couple of Orange Punches after some moves in the end to get the win over Kyle O'Reilly on Collision.

Orange Cassidy wins

Kyle O'Reilly goes back to the double wrist lock and is stopping Cassidy from putting his hands in his pockets. OC connects with a Beach Break, but O'Reilly kicks out at two.

The two stars exchange strikes before O'Reilly counters a Stundog Millionaire. He applies an ankle lock, but OC slams KOR on the mat for a two-count. OC with a rolling forearm shot and he follows up with a kick.

Cassidy hits a crossbody and gets a two-count after a roll up. OC drops KOR with a German Suplex and both men are down on the mat.

Back in the ring and Orange Cassidy gets a sneaky two-count over O'Reilly. The latter continues his assault with kicks, but Cassidy starts his comeback. He hits a dive to the outside on KOR.

Kyle O'Reilly continues to work on Orange Cassidy's leg. The action again spills to the outside and KOR kicks the former AEW International Champion down.

After some back-and-forth, Kyle O'Reilly hits a dragon screw on the ropes and slams OC's leg on the apron. KOR briefly has a moment with the Undisputed Kingdom at ringside. Cassidy strikes him, but KOR regains the momentum.

KOR applies a cross arm breaker, but Cassidy gets to the ropes once again. Neither of the two men have managed to get the upperhand so far. KOR barely kicks out out of a rollout attempt by Orange Cassidy.

KOR tries for a submission move, but Cassidy gets his foot on the ropes. Matt Taven is seen taking pictures of Orange Cassidy. O'Reilly applies headscissors on OC and the latter gets out with headstand.

Orange Cassidy vs. Kyle O'Reilly

Both men look to get the better of one another before having a standoff. Orange Cassidy whips Kyle O'Reilly, but the latter almost steals a win. Reversal after reversal by the two stars.

Orange Cassidy brings up the fact about having no friends now and says he is not concerned about Forbidden Door or Zack Sabre Jr. for now. He is more concerned about tonight.

We see a video package hyping up Mercedes Moné vs. Zeuxis on AEW Dynamite.

Daniel Garcia chokes out Tate Mayfairs and connects with the Red Cross for the pinfall win on AEW Collision.

Garcia with some knee strikes and he follows up with multiple swinging neck breakers. Daniel Garcia hits a saito suplex and follows up with a shotgun dropkick in the corner.

Daniel Garcia vs. Tate Mayfairs

The two stars have a back-and-forth early on before Daniel Garcia drops Tate Mayfairs. The latter turns things around and punches Garcia.

Samoa Joe and HOOK are in a backstage segment. Joe and HOOK attack Mark Sterling and Premier Athletes in the locker room.

We have a backstage segment involving Shane Taylor Promotions and Top Flight & Action Andretti.

Post-match, Toni Storm opens up about Mariah May having a hard time recently, with her having to choose between Storm and Mina Shirakawa. Storm wants the same opportunities for May. She demands that Mariah May be entered in the Owen Hart Cup.

Toni Storm gets a two-count after connecting with a sitout powerbomb. Towards the end, Toni Storm hits the Storm Zero on Lady Frost for the win.

Toni Storm misses a hip attack, but connects with it shortly after and gets a two-count. Lady Frost gets some near falls of her own, but Storm trips her on the ropes and hits a backstabber.

Storm makes her comeback and drops Frost with a cradle before applying a submission move in the middle of the ring. She kicks Frost in the corner and follows up with a chop.

Both stars lock up in the initial stages of the match. After some back-and-forth, Lady Frost freezes Toni Storm and follows up with a tiharas. She then hits a moonsault from the apron onto the floor. Luther helps Storm to the ring as Frost confronts Mariah May.

Premier Atheletes are in action next.

Dustin Rhodes says Jack Perry is a follower and not a leader. The Natural vows to destroy Perry and says The Elite member cannot defeat him fair and square.

Post-match, Dustin Rhodes says he is getting old. Dustin first praises the fans and then the cameramen in AEW. However, Dustin is not happy about Jack Perry's recent actions. Dustin opens up about his sacrifices while berating Perry's claims about sacrifice.

Taya has been ejected from ringside, but Johnny TV gets a two-count after a big thrust kick. He then drives his knee on Dustin's face and looks for the Starship Pain. But Dustin turns things around and gets the win over Johnny TV. (missed the ending)

After some back-and-forth, Johnny TV hits a swinging neckbreaker. Dustin Rhodes makes his comeback with a Code Red. He then places Johnny on the ropes and kicks him in the groin area. Dustin plans Johnny, but Taya puts Johnny's foot on the ropes.

Johnny TV hits a neckbreaker on Rhodes before the two veterans slug it out in the ring. Johnny tries to use Dustin's move, but the latter is ready. He counters with a bulldog on Johnny TV.

More kissing from Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie.

Johnny TV takes Dustin Rhodes with a dive on the floor after a distraction from Taya Valkyrie. Taya and Johnny kiss at ringside. Johnny TV is in total control of the match at this stage.

Dusty Rhodes vs. Johnny TV

Both men lock up in the ring as Dustin Rhodes corners Johnny TV. Rhodes with some right hand strikes. Johnny recoups on the outside, but Rhodes hits a cannonball on the outside.

Willow Nightingale is seen entering the arena. She responds to Statander's Owen Hart Cup entry by putting her name in the mix as well. Willow also enters the Owen Hart Cup.

Post-match, Stokley Hathaway puts Kris Statlander over in a big way. Stokely says Statlander is entering the Owen Hart Cup before adding that no one can stop Statlander.

Kris Statlander overpowers Robyn Renegade in the initial stages of the match. Statlander gets a quick win after a Saturday Night Fever on Renegade.

Kyle O'Reilly is in a backstage segment. Roderick Strong and is Undisputed Kingdom partners arrive. Strong says KOR has looked, but not great. He says he has advice to face Orange Cassidy, but KOR doesn't want it.

Claudio Castagnoli says The Bucks and Cutler ruined the match, but teases a rematch sometime in the future.

Post-match, Dax Harwood says all four men are fighters and he wants another 5 minutes. Brandon Cutler comes in and says the match is for 20 minutes only, as per The Young Bucks. Cutler gets attacked by the four men.

Claudio Castagnoli drops Cash Wheeler face-first, but only a two-count. He then applies a Rings of Saturn, but Cash Wheeler holds on and the match ends in a time-limit draw.

The Swiss star turns the hold around before Harwood applies a sharpshooter on Yuta. Wheeler Yuta takes Dax Harwood on the outside as Cash drops Claudio with a piledriver. ONE MINUTE REMAINING.

Towards the end of the match, FTR connect with the Shatter Machine on Claudio, but Wheeler Yuta comes in and breaks the pin. Cash Wheeler then applies a sharpshooter on Claudio Castagnoli.

All four men have an incredible sequence where they counter each other. Claudio Castagnoli almost gets the win over Dax Harwood. The BCC members counter a Shatter Machine attempt and respond with the giant swing/dropkick combo for a two-count.

Claudio drops Harwood from the ropes and gets a two-count over Harwood. After some shenanigans, both teams get two-counts. Claudio and Harwood are down on the mat after a spine buster.

BCC members hit a Hart Attack on Dax Harwood to almost get the win, but Dax Harwood kicks out at two. Claudio Castagnoli misses a moonsault, but he trips Harwood on the turnbuckles.

Claudio applies a sharpshooter on Cash and Harwood does the same to Yuta. Claudio and Harwood have a back-and-forth shortly after. Things break down among all the four men. Blackpool Combat Club gets the upperhand on the outside.

Claudio Castagnoli almost gets the win after some uppercuts in the corner on Dax Harwood. Cash Wheeler stops him from hitting the giant swing on Harwood.
