AEW Collision Live Results (March 9, 2024): Adam Copeland shows new look, Former WWE star returns, MAJOR DEBUT, Bryan Danielson's next opponent

Post-match, officials rush to check in on Mark Briscoe. House of Black look happy with their work and walk to the backstage area to end the show.

Towards the end of the match, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews powerbomb Mark Briscoe through a burning table and Black gets the pinfall victory.

Inside the ring, Brody King chokes out Jay Lethal and drops him on the floor, but Jeff Jarrett blasts him with a guitar shot.

Julia Hart comes out and throws gasoline on Sonjay and almost lights up Sonjay. But Karen Jarrett comes out and hits a low blow on Buddy. Sonjay takes Buddy out, but Julia hits a low blow on Sonjay. Julia mists Karen Jarrett.

Buddy Matthews slams Jeff Jarrett on the steel steps. Matthews dumps JJ over the barricades. Mark Briscoe is put through another table. HOB want to put JJ through a flaming table, but Sonjay Dutt makes the save.

Multiple weapons have been brought out at ringside. Brody King takes out Mark Briscoe with a crossbody through a table. House of Black are in control and they decimate Briscoe in the ring.

Things break down early on. Mark Briscoe unloads on Malakai Black in the ring. The other members battle on the outside. Jay Lethal hits a dive to the outside.

We have the main event up next. House of Black take on Mark Briscoe, Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.

Post-match, Mistico, Serpentine and Angelico stare a heartwarming moment in the ring.

Towards the end, Mistico applies the La Mistica to pick up a submission win on AEW Collision.

Mistico wins

Mistico also gets a two-count with a roll up. Angelico and Mistico exchange running lariats and both men take each other down with kicks. Mistico hits a crossbody and rolls Angelico up for a two-count.

Mistico connects with a hurricanrana on the outside and is in complete control. He hits a senton splash from the turnbuckles for a two-count. Mistico misses a moonsault and Angelico almost steals a win shortly after.

Mistico makes his comeback with a hurricanrana and he follows up with a 619. He then hits a super dropkick and takes out Serpentico.

Angelico extends Mistico's knees and looks to wear him down. Mistico somehow reaches the bottom rope for a rope break.

The two stars have a back-and-forth early on. After some shenanigans from Serpentico, Angelico connects with a pump kick and connects with some right-hand strikes in the corner.

Mistico returns to AEW. He faces Angelico.

They cut a promo and say they can give the tag team division a REVIVAL.

Dax Harwood cuts a brief promo and vows to become 3-time AEW World Tag Team Champions. The Infantry interrupt them.

Cash Wheeler says things didn't go to plan at Revolution, but he says FTR will keep marching forward. FTR officially enter themselves into the tag team tournament.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he says next week onwards the tag team title tournament will commence. He then introduces FTR.

Post-match, Gates of Agony attack Jericho, but HOOK makes the saves with a kendo stick.

Tita dodges a Judas Effect and connects with spinning death valley bomb for a two-count. Towards the end, Chris Jericho counters Titan's move and applies the Walls of Jericho for the win.

Titan connects with a double-legged stomp on Chris Jericho's chest but only gets a two-count. Jericho counters Titan's submission move and gets a two-count.

Chris Jericho makes his comeback and drops Titan on the mat. He misses a Lionsault and Titan hits a spin kick. Titan drops Jericho with a spinning tornado DDT for a two-count.

Back to the in-ring action and Chris Jericho has turned things around. He is wearing Titan down. After some back-and-forth, Titan connects with a Pele Kick and he follows up with a tope suicida. He gets a nearfall shortly after.

Titan connects with an enziguiri and connects with a hurricanrana shortly after. He hits a tope suicida on the outside. The two stars battle at ringside and Jericho's shoulder is slammed on the ring steps.

Chris Jericho vs. Titan

It is Titan's AEW debut on Collision. The two stars have a back-and-forth early on. Chris Jerico and Titan exchange chops, but Jericho gets the upperhand.

We see a backstage promo involving Mark Briscoe ad Jeff Jarrett's faction about trusting each other.

Post-match, Christian Cage confronts fans at ringside, but he gets attacked by a masked star. The makes star is none other than Adam Copeland. After a brawl, Copeland brings out a box and it seemingly scares Christian Cage as he and The Patriarchy retreat.

Towards the end, Nick Wayne connects with the Wayne's World to pick up the win.

Nick Wayne regroups and kicks Adam Priest on the outside. After some shenanigans from Killswitch, Wayne kicks Priest and follows up with a release fisherman's suplex. Nick Wayne chokes Adam Priest on the ropes.

Nick Wayne takes Adam Priest down early on and starts posing. Wayne is in control, but Priest connects with an uppercut and knife-edge chops. Wayne is dumped out of the ring.

Post-match, Toni Storm comes out to the ramp and announces Mariah May with the "Toni Award". Deonna Purrazzo comes out and launches a sneak attack. But gets taken down with May hitting a DDT on the ramp.

Mariah May tries to make her comeback, but Trish Adora gets a two-count with another bridge. Towards the end, May connects with a huge strike and follows up with the May Day for the win.

May comes back with a shotgun dropkick to send Adora on the outside. After some back-and-forth, Adora knocks May down with double ax handle strikes and a pump kick. She gets a two-count shortly after.

Mariah May has the early advantage, but Trish Adora turns things around quickly. Adora gets a two-couyn with a bridged-attempt.

PAC says he is always for trouble and Eddie Kingston challenges The Elite to a 6-man match on AEW Dynamite: Big Business.

Post-match, Eddie Kingston runs down the ring, but gets taken down by The Elite. Penta comes out, but gets taken down as well. PAC returns and he chases The Elite away after a battle with Okada.

The Elite vs. Adrian Alanis, Jon Cruz, and Liam Gray

Kazuchika Okada shows up in the initial stages of the match. Adrain Alanis gets taken down with a beautiful dropkick. Liam Gray enters the ring.

Okada connects with the Rainmaker on Gray for the win.

The Elite win

It is Kazuchika Okada's debut as an official AEW star. Also, the new Elite's debut.

Danielson then says Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita is one of the best matches he has seen. Then Bryan Danielson challenges The Aerial Assassin to a match at Dynasty. Ospreay accepts.

BUUUUUT....He brings up Danielson confronting him on Dynamite. Bryan Danielson welcomes Will Ospreay to AEW!!

Post-match, Will Ospreay comes out to the ring and heaps praise on Bryan Danielson. Ospreay says the sandwiches backstage are lovely. He then says Danielson inspires a lot of people and thanks The American Dragon.

Towards the end, Bryan Danielson connects with multiple kicks and follows up with the Busaikuu Knee for the win.

Bryan Danielson connects with two running kicks, but Taylor drops him with a lariat for a two-count. Shane Taylor toys with Danielson. After some back-and-forth, Taylor hits a splash for another nearfall.

Danielson slams Taylor's knees on the steel ringpost. Inside the ring, Danielson connects with Yes kicks, but Shane Taylor kicks out at ONE.

Taylor gets a two-count shortly after and hits some vicious open-handed chops. Bryan Danielson gathers momentum and targets Taylor's knees.

The leader of STP is dominating the match and Lee Moriarty is also making his presence felt. Taylor stomps on Danielson and follows up with a leg drop on the apron.
