Claudio and Ricochet are now tied at 9 in the Gold League. As Claudio grabs a chair, he's cut off from the ring by Will Ospreay!! The Aerial Assassin saves Darby from further damage, picking up Claudio's knucks for himself.

Claudio is seen on camera sticking something in his trunks and grabbing a chair. The ref falls for it, sending the chair away as Claudio cracks Darby in the jaw with brass knuckles!!

Claudio Castiagnolli defeats Darby Allin via pinfall. Grade: A

Darby blocks a superplex and sends Claudio to the mat. The Coffin Drop is countered as Claudio gets his knees up. Powerbomb!!

1-2-no!! Darby kicks out!!

Back in the ring, Claudio launches Darby over the ropes and onto the apron, falling to the floor in agony. Claudio drives his spine repeatedly into the ring post before breaking the ref's count. Darby is sent head-first into the steps with another swing.

As Claudio mauls Darby, Ricochet watches on from the back. He and Darby face off on Dynamite for what could be the lead in the Gold League.

Somehow, in some way, Darby is still in this match. The former TNT Champion sends Claudio to the floor for a Coffin Drop! Claudio gets to his feet and is caught in a sleeper hold. The Trios Champion is caught for nearly a minute before rushing to the timekeeper's table and driving Darby through it!

The dive that nearly cut this match short

Somehow, Darby shakes off that nasty bump and gets back into the ring. Claudio takes him down with ease and spins him around with the giant swing for what feels like thirty rotations. Darby's launched to the edge of the ring and falls to the floor as we cut to break.

Are we looking at the future of that title in 2025??

It's time for the final match as Darby Allin takes on Claudio Castiagnolli. Before Claudio can even get to the ring, Darby jumps him. Darby climbs a structure near the ramp and dives onto him. The whiplash sends Darby's skull into the ramp, and a medical team is sent to check on him.

Claudio moves to the ring as Darby's checked out.

Mariah May is interviewed about her upcoming title match against Thunder Rosa. On Busted Open Radio, Rosa said that her father would be at the show to see her win the AEW Women's Championship again.

May asks if he's there to see Rosa or if he's there to scout for Rosa's new mommy. Rosa rushes in and attacks the champion, leading to a brawl by the ring. May barely avoids a chair shot to the head, leaving her title behind. Rosa grabs it and raises it high in victory.

Jay Driller connects, and Briscoe finally puts Mortos away. Mortos earns no points in his Continental Classic run. Briscoe is at 9 points, tying him with Kyle Fletcher.

Mark Briscoe defeats The Beast Mortos via pinfall. Grade: A

Briscoe sets up for a Jay Driller. Mortos blocks. Another discus lariat is ducked as Briscoe hits the rolling Death Valley Driver. Froggy Bow time? This time it connects!!

1-2-no!!! How did Mortos kick out??

Briscoe hits several more dives as the crowd explodes in "This is Awesome" chants! The Froggy Bow is attempted, but Mortos gets his knees up. An argentine backbreaker and a powerbomb backbreaker leaves Briscoe in a bad way!!

Mortos's discus lariat misses, but he catches the former ROH World Champion with a nasty pop-up Samoan Drop!!

Briscoe sets up for a dive using the chair, but Mortos puts a stop to it and drags him onto the apron. They trade heavy shots before Briscoe German's Mortos onto the apron!

Mortos's knee is definitely hurt. Moreso after Briscoe avoids a flying knee into the corner. Mortos crashes leg-first into the turnbuckle and falls, hitting his knee on both the apron and floor. Briscoe hits him with a wrecking ball dropkick and a big dive before grabbing a chair.

Uh...this isn't that kind of match.

Mortos rushes Briscoe and is launched over the ropes, seemingly injuring his knee. When Briscoe goes for a dive, the big man rushes into the ring, ducks a clothesline, and nearly spears Briscoe out of his shoes! What a sequence!

Briscoe and Mortos trade big shots. Mortos changes his plan, grabbing Briscoe's arm and flying through the ropes with a 619 to catch Briscoe with an innovative pinfall!! They trade pinfall attempts, wrestling to a stalemate before getting back to their feet.

"Bobby!! Didn't I say I'd get my hands on you??"

We move onto the next Continental Classic bout. Mark Briscoe stays out for his clash with The Beast Mortos!

Mortos has no points so far, and this is his last opportunity to change that. Briscoe, however? He can tie leader Kyle Fletcher with a win here!

Shelton's in agony!! Daniel Garcia is outwrestling the vet!

The Hurt Syndicate jumps Garcia, but Mark Briscoe and Swerve Strickland save the TNT Champion!! We have a locker room clearing moment as the roster aims to keep the peace. Prince Nana starts a "Whose House? Swerve's House" chant.

Swerve reminds Bobby of his promise, that he'd get his hands on him by the end of 2024. He's done just that.

Benjamin stuns Garcia with a superkick. He covers, and the ref hits the mat three times but calls it at two as Garcia's shoulder gets up JUST in time. This crowd is on their feet for this one.

Garcia catches Shelton with a jackknife pinfall and...HE GETS IT!!

Daniel Garcia defeats Shelton Benjamin via pinfall. Grade: A-

Garcia traps Benjamin's damaged knee and goes for a Sharpshooter!! Shelton somehow escapes, turning it into a modified STF crossface!! Garcia is nowhere near the ropes!!

Garcia finally takes control after hammering Benjamin with some rights. A shotgun dropkick sends the veteran flying into the barricade. Shelton responds with a huge clothesline that leaves Garcia on the floor.

Young fans reach over and help Garcia to his feet, and the TNT Champion gets in the ring after hitting a dragon screw on Benjamin through the ropes. Still, Shelton manages to cut off that momentum with a release German suplex.

A huge release German dumps Garcia on his head. They move to the apron, where Shelton looks to German Garcia to the floor!!

Garcia manages to fight it off and dives onto Benjamin, but the Gold Standard catches him and sends him flying with a release belly-to-belly suplex!

Benjamin is completely dominating Garcia. As we cut to break, Garcia is caught in a sleeper hold. Benjamin refuses to give an inch, forcing Garcia to fight from the middle of the ring.

Chris Jericho is not impressed with Big Boom AJ or Big Justice.

Shelton's got a straight up strength advantage, countering a hold by suplexing Garcia overhead with an exploder. Garcia's tossed around the ring several times as a smile creeps across Benjamin's face.

Next up is the Continental Classic bout between Shelton Benjamin and TNT Champion Daniel Garcia! This should be incredible!

Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie are interrupted mid-interview by the "new" signee Toni Storm. Storm introduces herself to them, but Purrazzo sees through it.

"I'm not falling for this ****." We have a match set up for Dynamite!

Bowens wants a match against the Ring of Honor World Champion, but Jericho refuses. Big Boom AJ believes he'll get his chance one day to bring the...ugh...boom.

Bowens stops it, and invites the Costco Guys to scissor instead. I hated typing that.

Jericho mocks a lot of the roster, including The Acclaimed for some reason. "We don't want to 'scissor' anyone. Haha, scissor me, Bad Apple."

The Acclaimed's music hits, leading to Anthony Bowens breaking up the party. Bowens verbally runs down Jericho for trying to ignite a fight with a child and an injured man. Fair point, even if they're annoying.

The Costco Guys are back, but before they can say much, they're interrupted by the Learning Tree. Chris Jericho asks if they know who he is. Big Justice calls him a "jack***."

Nigel McGuinness: "That's not appropriate language for a child."

Ford is sent FLYING from this dropkick!!

After the match, Mercedes comes out. The challenge at Worlds End is accepted. Kris Statlander will challenge Mone for the TBS Championship next Saturday!!

Ford really does her best, but she's a bit mismatched here. Stat hits the Staturday Night Special for the win!
