AEW Dynamite Live Results (August 7, 2024): WWE Hall of Famer returns, SUSPENSION LIFTED, Medical officials concerned about top star, MJF spits on AEW wrestler

Swerve Strickland takes shots at Bryan Danielson. Swerve says he also wants a warmup and challenges Wheeler Yuta to a match next week on Dynamite. He and Yuta have a standoff as Danielson tries to cool things down to end the show.

Swerve Strickland makes his way out to the ring. He calls himself, Jeff Jarrett and Ricky Steamboat as legends of TBS because they have been world champions. Swerve vows to defeat Danielson at All In.

Post-match, Jarrett's allies and Wheeler Yuta come down to the ring. Ricky Steamboat also joins them before Danielson and Jarrett embrace each other.

Bryan Danielson counters a Stroke and sends Jeff Jarrett crashing onto a steel chair on the turnbuckles. He then hits the Busaikuu Knee for the win/

JJ applies a sharpshooter, but Danielson gets out and responds with a crossface. The two exchange strikes before JJ hits an enziguiri.

Jeff Jarrett has the figure-four leg lock applied, but Bryan Danielson hits some chair shots to escape. JJ continues to have the upperhand and connects with the Stroke on a chair for a two-count.

Bryan Danielson gets out and connects with a steel chair shot strike on Jeff Jarrett. He then follows up with a spider suplex and a missile dropkick.

Bryan Danielson makes his comeback with an elbow strike. The two continue their back-and-forth and JJ targets Danielson's knees. He takes a steel chair and wraps it around Danielson's leg.

The action is back in the ring, or rather the ringside area. Back in the ring, Jarrett unloads with steel chair shots before connecting with some right hand strikes in the corner.

The BCC member continues to beat up Jarrett and connects with multiple Yes Kicks. JJ stops him and kicks him as the duo walk down the steps. JJ takes a carton and beats up Danielson with it.

Bryan Danielson gets some offense in, but JJ drops him on the floor and top of a garbage can. Danielson does the same over a garbage can.

Jeff Jarrett attacks Bryan Danielson with a guitar as he is making his entrance. The action spills to the ringside area, through the crowd and in different parts of the arena.

We learn that Claudio Castagnoli will face Kazuchika Okada next week.

Britt Baker appears on the titantron and tells Mercedes that she runs away whenever things get tough. Baker runs down Mone before promising a title win at All In.

Mone claims Baker is not the top star despite being the first female star signed. Tony Schiavone informs everyone that Tony Khan has overruled The Elite and lifted Baker's suspension.

Post-match, Mercedes Mone tells everyone to say hello to Kamille. She then does her CEO chant. Mone claims Britt Baker is not here tonight and she won't be around until All In.

Kamille vs. Jazmyn Hao and Clara Carter

Kamille is dominating both stars in the 2-on-1 handicap match. She gets an easy win by pinning both opponents.

We see a video package hyping up Hologram.

Christian Cage and The Patriarchy in a pre-taped segment. He announces that House of Black and Bang Bang Gang will face each other for shot at The Patriarchy's trios titles. Cage will be the special guest referee.

Post-match, The Acclaimed come out and we have a brawl shortly after. Security separate the two teams as The Acclaimed are taken to the backstage area.

In the end, Orange Cassidy connects with another Orange Punch on Rush before FTR hit the Shatter Machine for the win.

All men come in and get some offense. Rush and Dax Harwood are in the ring. OC hits the Orange Punch on Rush, but the latter takes him down. Rush battles FTR.

Mortos spears OC after a distraction from Roderick Strong. After some back-and-forth, OC hits the Beach Break, but Rush kicks out at 1.

Dax Harwood makes his comeback and tags in Orange Cassidy. Cassidy comes in with a flurry of offense and drops The Beast Mortos with a DDT.

The Beast Mortos almost knocks Dax Harwood's head off before tagging Rush in. Rush kicks Harwood and poses in the ring. The Beast Mortos gets a cheap shot on Harwood.

Some nearfalls are exchanged. Strong is on the turnbuckles and Harwood connects with some chops. Harwood is dropped on the padding before he outnumberered by the heels.

Cash Wheeler turns things around with a rollup and tags Dax Harwood in. Harwood unloads on his opponents and hits a spine buster on The Beast Mortos.

The heels connect with consecutive shots on Wheeler and The Beast Mortos gets a two-count. Strong wears Wheeler down and hits a backbreaker for a two-count.

The Beast Mortos and Rush are taken off the apron. However, the heels make their comeback. Rush hits a dropkick on the back of Wheeler and poses in the ring.

Back in the ring, the babyfaces isolate Roderick Strong and exchange quick tags. Dax Harwood connects with some big chops on Strong before tagging Cash Wheeler in.

Orange Cassidy and FTR vs. The Beast Mortos, Rush and Roderick Strong

Back-and-forth action in the initial stages of the match before things break down. FTR and Orange Cassidy gain the momentum and pose in the ring.

Orange Cassidy's mystery partners are FTR for the match against The Beast Mortos, Rush and Roderick Strong.

Swerve Strickland has a sit-down interview with Jim Ross. He speaks on various topics, including Bryan Danielson and how hard The American Dragon can hit. Swerve says Danielson is fighting for his legacy.

Strickland runs down Danielson and add he doesn't care about Danielson being a father and a husband. At the end, Swerve vows to defeat Danielson and claims the latter's legacy will be his.

Hangman Page is in a backstage segment. He says he wants to take everything from one man (Swerve Strickland). But multiple others are in his way. Page vows to get what he wants.

Orange Cassidy has a rematch against Roderick Strong, Rush and The Beast Mortos later in the night. We see him cut a promo ahead of the match and say that he has help. The rest of The Conglomeration are not here due to travel issues.

Post-match, The Learning Tree attack Katsuyori Shibata. HOOK returns and chases the heels away.

Bryan Keith gets another two-count after a suplex. Shibata makes his comeback and chops Keith. He uses the claw and follows up immediately with the Fujiwara armbar for the win.

Shibata no-sells Keith's offense, but eventually gets taken down. Katsuyori Shibata finally connects with a blow, but Keith hits a headbutt. He gets a two-count after a neckbreaker.

Bryan Keith chokes Katsuyori Shibata and the action is back on the outside. Keith hits some chops before tossing Shibata back in the ring.

The action spills to the outside and Keith slams Shibata on the barricades and gets the upperhand in the contest. Back in the ring, Keith gets a quick one count.
