AEW Dynamite Live Results (January 10, 2024): WWE Hall of Famer returns, Sting's retirement match confirmed?

Sting's retirement match will be against The Bucks?

Post-match, Tony Schiavone asks about his retirement match, But before he could answer The Young Bucks' music plays and they stare down Sting, Ric Flair, and Darby Allin.

Towards the end of the match, Sting climbs an elevated ramp and hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Powerhouse Hobbs through a table for the win.

After some back-and-forth, Darby Allin hits a Coffin Drop on Konosuke Takeshita from an elevated ramp.

Ric Flair gets in the ring and hits some chops. Sting hits a spinbuster on Hobbs.

Konosuke Takeshita and Hobbs swing Darby Allin and throw him across the ring. Sting mounts some offense, but not for long as Takeshita takes him down.

Sting and Allin fight back. The heels turn things around and Powerhouse Hobbs powerbombs Darby Allin. Sting is also taken down.

Allin looks for the Coffin Drop, but Takeshita catches him and hits a German Suplex on the floor. We see Sting is struggling.

Sting places Hobbs on top of a road case and dumps him over trash cans. Takeshita hits some big chops on Allin, but the latter hits a drop kick.

Sting and Darby Allin vs. Powerhouse Hobbs and Konosuke Takeshita

All four battle in the tornado tag match. Konosuke Takeshita and Darby Allin clash at ringside, while Sting and Powerhouse Hobbs throw hand among the crowd.

It is Ric Flair's AEW Dynamite return.

We see Deonna Purrazzo in a backstage segment. Red Velvet comes in and the two will face each other on Collision in their debut matches on that show.

Adam Cole then hypes up Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. He then puts the focus on Wardlow and says they will win the AEW World Championship.

Post-match, Adam Cole takes the mic and says Undisputed Kingdom doesn't care about the fans. Cole hypes up Strong and says he'll win the AEW International Championship.

Keith makes his comeback with a diamond dust and gets a two-count. Roderick Strong hits a big knee strike and follows up with End of Heartache for the win.

Strong retaliates with chops of his own before dropping Keith on the apron. The Undisputed Elite member keeps up the momentum with an enziguri. He gets a two-count shortly after.

Both men square off early on before exchanging shoulder tackles. Bryan Keith unloads with chops and kicks Strong.

Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Wardlow, The Kingdom come out.

We see Wheeler Yuta cutting a promo on Eddie Kingston and challenging him to a match this Rampage.

Anna Jay and Julia Hart battle, but Skye Blue blind tag herself in. However, Jay applies the QueenSlayer towards the end to pick up the win.

Kris Statlander, Willow, Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay win

After some back-and-forth, the babyfaces quadruple suplex the heels in the ring!!

Willo Nightingale knocks down Julia and Blue. Kris Statlander comes in hot and drops Saraya for a two-count.

Saraya comes in and drives her knees on Willow Nightingale. Skye Blue and Willow are the legal stars. Blue chokes Willow and Cameron gets in a cheap shot.

Rosa makes her comeback with a dropkick on Soho. Willow is on the ropes and Harley Cameron trips her. The heels isolate Willow.

Kris Statlander, Willow, Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay vs. Julia Hart, Saraya, Ruby Soho and Skye Blue

Ruby Soho is targted early on. Thunder Rosa unloads on Soho before Julia Hart is tagged in. Skye Blue comes in and drives her boot on Rosa.

We have a eight-woman tag team match up next!!

Post-match, Big Bill and Ricky Starks attack Sammy Guevara. But Chris Jericho comes out with Floyd and a brawl ensues in the crowd.

Towards the end of the match, Sammy Guevara connects with two kicks on Ricky Starks for the win.

The Absolute connects with a sit-out powerbomb for a two-count. Sammy Guevara looks for the GTH, but it is countered and Ricky Starks gets a two-count.

The two stars have a back-and-forth before Guevara connects with a kick for a two-count. The Spanish God is on the ropes, but Starks catches him and unloads with heavy strikes.

The two stars battle each other on the apron before Ricky Starks hits a powerbomb on Sammy Guevara.

Sammy Guevara makes his comeback with a dropkick before sending Starks to the outside. Guevara hits a moonsault on Starks on the outside.

Both stars square off early on. Ricky Starks hits a shoulder block to take Sammy Guevara down.

Toni Storm and Mariah May are in a backstage segment. Storm wants a meeting with Deonna Purrazzo.

Hook gets in Joe's face and says 1 week, seemingly teasing a match. Samoa Joe poses to end the segment.

Page confronts Joe and vows to dethrone him. Samoa Joe poses in the ring, but HOOK comes out!!!!

Page brings up his record in 2023. The Cowboy makes his case for a world title shot before Swerve and The Mogul Embassy walk out.

Swerve Strickland says he wants the AEW World Championship, just like he wanted Hangman Page's spot. The two have a confrontation before Page comes out.

Joe puts the entire locker room on notice. The Mogul Embassy interrupt him.

Samoa Joe comes out to the ring. The crowd thanks him. Joe changes the championship protocols and says he no more complaining and whining on social media.

We see Bullet Club Gold in a backstage segment. They say they can do things better than Undisputed Kingdom. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn again tease joining forces between the two factions.

Adam Copeland hits the spear on Cage and Vance comes with a discus lariat on Kaun for the win.

Orange Cassidy, Dustin Roberts, Preston Vance, Adam Copeland win

After some brief action, The Mogul Embassy and Lance Archer fight among themselves. Brian Cage takes down Archer.

Preston Vance comes in with a flurry of offense before things break down. Dustin Rhodes and Adam Copeland get involved.

Archer looks for some more offense, but Jose The Assistant stops him. Jake Roberts takes Jose down.

The Murderhawk Monster bodyslams OC on the mat. Archer hits a suplex and charges at OC in the corner. Cassidy gets his boot up, but Archer hits a running knee strike.

Brian Cage drops Orange Cassidy in the match before Lance Archer tags himself in. Archer with a some chops and strikes in the corner.

The heels isolate Cassidy and takes turns to dominate the International Champion.

Vance outsmarts Brian Cage before Orange Cassidy becomes the legal man. OC wants to chokeslam Cage, but fails!!

Orange Cassidy, Dustin Roberts, Preston Vance, Adam Copeland vs. The Mogul Embassy and Lance Archer

Dustin Rhodes and Toa Liona start the match. Rhodes hits a scoop slam on Liona, but the latter overpowers him. Preston Vance is tagged in.
