AEW Dynamite Live Results (July 19, 2023): Former WWE star surrenders, major debut, in-ring return, new champion crowned

Golden Elite hit a Buckshot/V-Trigger combo on Wheeler Yuta. Don Callis tells Konosuke Takeshita to walk out. Jon Moxley gets tied up with handcuffs to the rope. Hangman Page and one of the Bucks choke out Wheeler Yuta with a steel chain and Jon Moxley surrenders to give them the victory.

Golden Elite win

Kota Ibushi with the save, but BCC are in control. Moxley with a kiss on the camera. Omega gets attacked, but things break down between Claudio Castagnoli and PAC. The latter has a confrontation with BCC members before walking out.

All stars connect with their signature moves, one after the other. Omega looks to hit the One-Winged Angel, but PAC applies the Brutalizer. Claudio hits the Giant Swing on Matt Jackson and applies the Sharpshooter on top of thumbtacks.

At one point in the match, PAC climbs up the under side of the cage and hits a double on Hangman Page on top of a table. Both factions regroup in separate rings. Chaos ensues among all the men involved.

Golden Elite hit a tombstone/Deadeye combo on Takeshita and PAC, with Nick Jackson assisting with a dropkick. Ibushi drives Takeshita on top of the tacks.

Golden Elite members hit their moves one after the other and PAC is locked in a Boston Crab. Moxley stomps on the thumbtacks and is dropped on top of them.

Back inside the ring, Jon Moxley hits a pile driver on Kota Ibushi. Claudio and PAC get dropped on top of thumbtacks. Golden Elite are in control of the match now.

Matt Jackson hits a couple of Northern Lights suplexes on Yuta on top of the cage and looks to drop Yuta down the cage. But the BCC member saves his life with a DDT on Matt.

Hangman Page takes a garbage can and unloads on Claudio Castagnoli. Wheeler Yuta and Matt Jackson climb up the cage.

Ibushi wipes out PAC and Claudio and drops Moxley on top of the bed of nails. Ibushi and Omega look to hit the BTE Trigger, but Claudio stops them.

Kota Ibushi comes in and takes out a charging Wheeler Yuta on the entrance ramp. He confronts Jon Moxley and takes him down with karate strikes. Chaos ensues on both rings.

Moxley then bodyslams Omega on a bed full of nails. BCC is dominating.

Konosuke Takeshita comes in and he hits a double German suplex on The Young Bucks. He then takes out Kenny Omega with a lariat. Moxley brings out a table full of nails and gets driven onto the weapon.

Matt Jackson comes in and drives PAC on the mat. He hits a DDT on Wheeler Yuta, but Claudio and Moxley stop him. However, Matt continues his offense and The Young Bucks hit a double team move on Jon Moxley.

Wheeler Yuta comes in and drops Nick Jackson with a brain buster on top of a steel chair. Claudio unloads with uppercuts on Omega.

Nick Jackson comes in and takes out all the BCC members with super kicks. He hits a face buster on Claudio and drives PAC face-first. The BCC members drop Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega on top of the glass shards to get the advantage.

Jon Moxley comes in and attacks Hangman Page with a fork. He then uses the fork on Omega and bites his finger. The BCC member continue to use the fork before Moxley takes out Page with a lariat. He then introduces a bucket full of broken glass.

Hangman Page takes out both Claudio and PAC. Omega hits a big boot on Claudio and slams him on the steel cage. Page and PAC battle in the other ring. Castagnoli launches Omega onto the steel cage to get the adavantage.

Kenny Omega fights off both his opponents, but his momentum is stopped by PAC and Claudio with uppercuts. Claudio unloads with right hand strikes. Hangman Page is representing Golden Elite.

PAC is revealed to be BCC's next member. He hits a missile dropkick on Kenny Omega and double teams with Claudio to keep Omega down.

Omega unloads with few chops and stomps on Claudio Castagnoli. The former WWE star makes his comeback with chops of his own in the corner. He then hits a series of uppercuts, but Omega takes him down with a hurricanrana.

Blackpool Combat Club vs. Golden Elite

Kenny Omega comes in with a flurry of offense and after a back-and-forth, Claudio Castagnoli takes him out with a backbreaker. Omega hits a crossbody on Claudio and takes him down.

The Blood and Guts is up next. Claudio Castagnoli comes to represent Blackpool Combat Club first. Kenny Omega comes out for Golden Elite.

Renee Paquette is backstage with Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, Kris Statlander, Darby Allin, and Nick Wayne. Allin says he'll win the Royal Rampage before asking OC to defend his title against AR Fox. Cassidy accepts the challenge to end the segment.

FTR come out to the ring to confront Adam Cole and MJF. They have a stare down to end the segment. Dax Harwood requests Tony Khan to play their music from next time onwards.

MJF finally hits a tope suicida on the JAS members and he and Adam Cole connect with the double clothesline at the end to pick up the win on Dynamite.

Post-match, Chris Jericho look to approach his stablemates, but they walk past him. Adam Cole holds MJF's world title and things seemingly break down between them, but they sort it out.

MJF and Adam Cole go for the double clothesline, but Sammy Guevara take them out with a double Spanish Fly. Daniel Garcia locks in a submission move on Cole, but he manages to reach the bottom ropes.

Adam Cole is finally tagged in and he comes in with a flurry of offense. After a back-and-forth, he hits a super kick on Garcia and follows up with the same on Guevara.

Guevara takes down MJF with a chop as Garcia pulls his hair behind the referee's back. The Spanish God hits a couple of suplexes, but MJF looks to make his comeback. He falls on Guevara's as both men are down in the ring. Guevara makes the tag, but MJF fails to do so.

It looks like MJF is about to hit a dive to the outside, but he just keeps running and poses in the ring. Daniel Garcia makes his comeback with a cheap strike. The heels exchange strikes and isolate The Devil in their corner.

After a bit of dancing, Guevara and Garcia attack their opponents. MJF and Cole dominate Daniel Garcia and look to hit the double clothesline, but The Spanish God saves his partner.

MJF and Daniel Garcia start the match and both stars have a dance off in the beginning. Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia seem to be fully enjoying the moment before MJF and Adam Cole do the same.

Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia make their way out to the ring for the blind eliminator tournament match, but Chris Jericho comes out and joins the commentary team. MJF and Adam Cole come out in matching gears!!

Adam Cole and MJF are in a backstage segment and they promise to win the blind eliminator tournament finals tonight. Both stars get matching gears for each other. Roderick Strong seems frustrated with Cole's partnership with MJF.

Britt Baker vs. Kayla Sparks

Britt Baker dodges Kayla Sparks' lariat attempt and hits a sling blade early on. She hits a neckbreaker and quickly applies the Lockjaw for the victory.

Don Callis and Chris Jericho enter the arena and refuse to answer if they are aligned or not. We see Britt Baker walk out to the ring for a match.

We see Alex Marvez looking to find out if Chris Jericho will join forces with Don Callis. The two have a secret meeting, but Marvez is chased away. Then we see another skit with MJF and Adam Cole, with The Devil looking to overcome his fears on chillies.

Hook hits a suplex, but the referee is out. Jack Perry uses the FTW Title as a weapon and steals the victory on AEW Dynamite.

Jungle Boy becomes new FTW Champion!!

Jack Perry hits a low blow and follows up with a forearm shot to the back of the neck on Hook, but only gets a two-count. He looks to use the FTW Championship, but Hook stops and the referee gets taken out.

Perry drops Hook with a DDT at the ringside area, but the champion makes his way to the ring at the 8-count. Jack Perry hits a suplex, but Hook gets up immediately and counters with a few suplexes of his own.

Jack Perry chokes Hook on the ropes and hits a kick before the latter fires back with body shots. However, Perry stops his momentum and looks to hit a suplex on the apron. But Hook counters with a T-Bone Suplex on the apron instead.

The action spills to the outside, with both stars exchanging chops on each other. Perry with another eye poke on Hook and gets a two-count inside the ring. The former AEW tag team champion grounds Hook on the mat.

Hook comes in with a flurry of offense during the initial stages of the match. He takes down Perry on the outside before the challenger gets in a cheap shot to the eye and a dropkick for a two-count.
