AEW Dynamite Live Results (March 27, 2024): Mercedes Mone confronts top star, WWE legend returns, Triple H's close friend namedropped, Multiple challengers revealed

Post-match, we see Samoa Joe in a backstage segment and he says he is going to make Swerve Strickland pay next week. He also adds that Swerve is not the man to defeat him.

Takeshita connects with a jumping, but his pop up powerbomb is countered with a Swerve Stomp. Strickland hits the Big Pressure to pick up the win.

Towards the end, Swerve Strickland sends Konosuke Takeshita to the turnbuckles. He hits the House Call and follows up with the Swerve Stomp, but only a 2 COUNT.

Takeshita hits a rolling German suplex and follows up with a knee strike for a two-count.

Swerve Strickland connects with the Swerve Stomp on the apron, but Takeshita counters another one.

Konosuke Takeshita hits a jumping knee before the two stars have a back-and-forth ending with Swerve getting a nearfall.

Takeshita makes his comeback with a reverse hurricanrana and he follows up with a blue thunder bomb for a two-count.

The two stars exchange strikes before Swerve drops Takeshita with a DDT from the turnbuckle. He then follows up with a Sky Twister for a two-count.

But Swerve rolls out of the ring. Takeshita keeps up the momentum with a dive to the outside.

Strickland hits some strikes, but his injured shoulder gives in. Konosuke Takeshita drops Swerve Strickland. After some back-and-forth, Takeshita face plants Swerve and follows up with a drop kick.

Takeshita has Strickland down on the mat during this phase of the match. The two men exchange stiff strikes. Swerve connects with a hurricanrana on Takeshita on the floor.

Swerve Strickland tries to make a comeback, but Konosuke Takeshita drops him with a vicious right hand strike.

Swerve hits a backbreaker on Takeshita, but the latter responds with a sheer drop brainbuster to get the upperhand.

Strickland makes his comeback with an uppercut to the back of Takeshita. Strickland connects with a neckbreaker on the ropes and gets a two-count shortly after.

Konosuke Takeshita misses a kick, but drops Swerve with a flying shoulder tackle. The Japanese star chokes Strickland in the corner.

Both stars look to get the better of one another in the initial sequences. Swerve Strickland gets a two-count with a roll up.

We see a recap of Adam Copeland's post-match promo after his win against Christian Cage.

Kyle O'Reilly is in a backstage segment and he speaks about his first match against Bryan Keith. KOR then says he has no regret about doing things alone.

Post-match, The Young Bucks come out and have a stare down with Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta.

Best Friends turn thing around with a double team move. Multiple DDTs from Cassidy and Trent hits a running boot. After some shenanigans at ringside from Roderick Strong and Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta manages to get the pinfall for his team.

Orange Cassidy is finally tagged in. He unloads on Undisputed Kingdom and hits the Stundog Millionaire on Bennett. The UK hit a double team move on OC and almost get the three-count.

Mike Bennett hits a vertical suplex before Trent Beretta drops Matt Taven on the mat. Trent almost tags in Orange, but is stopped midway.

Best Friends are in control and Trent connects with some German suplexes. Udisputed Kingdom double team Trent and Bennett piledrives Trent on the apron.

Beretta takes out Taven with a dive and Bennett takes Beretta out with a dive of his own. OC comes in and drops on top of all competitors.

Orange Cassidy rocks Matt Taven early on and they battle around the ring. Trent Beretta and Mike Bennett clash in the ring.

We see a video package in which Swerve Strickland puts Samoa Joe on notice.

Dustin Rhodes (his Dynamite return) is in a backstage segment and Renee Paquette brings up his record this year. The Butcher confronts him and challenges Dustin to a match on Rampage.

Post-match, Julia Hart gets in a cheap shot with the TBS Championship before having a confrontation with Mercedes Mone.

Willow drops Blue with a Death Valley driver on the apron. Inside the ring, Anna Jay counters a Wednesday Night Fever, but gets dropped by the Doctor Bomb by Willow for the win.

Willow and Statlander are dominating Jay and Blue at ringside. Statlander hits a chop on Blue. After some back-and-forth, Skye Blue almost gets the pinfall on Willow with a Code Blue.

Skye Blue trips Statlander and gets pounced at ringside by Willow.

Blue kicks Willow and drops her with a DDT. Kris Statlander comes in to attack Blue out. Statlander almost gets the pinfall over Jay before hitting a shoulder tackle.

Willow Nightingale vs. Anna Jay vs. Kris Statlander vs. Skye Blue

Anna Jay unload on her opponents early on. Willow Nightingale stops her and gets a two-count. Skye Blue enters the ring and chokes Willow.

Mercedes Moné is out for commentary.

Hook says of course he wants advice from Jericho, but he knows who Chris Jericho is. Jericho says he knows who Hook is before the two are on the same page.

Chris Jericho and Hook are in a backstage segment. Jericho brings up their singles match. The Ocho hypes up Hook and says he has advice for Hook if he wants.

Mercedes Moné is seen arriving in the arena.

We see a video of Don Callis saying Konosuke Takeshita will destroy Swerve Strickland.

Private Party almost get the win, but Nicholas puts Matthews' leg on the bottom rope. Towards the end, The Young Bucks hit the EVP Trigger on Isiah Kassidy for the win.

Nicholas Jackson brings the bell and tries to use it, but gets caught by the ref. Matthew Jackson low blows Kassidy, but Quen drops him with the tag title belt.

Private Party connect with the Gin N Juice on Nicholas, but he rolls out of the ring. They then double team Matthew before Nicholas breaks the count.

Nicholas drops Quen with a German suplex on the apron. The Bucks try for the TK Driver, but Isiah Kassidy stops Nicholas and Private Party almost steals the win.

The Young Bucks regain the momentum and double team Kassidy. But Quen stops them from getting win and drags Kassidy to their corner. Nicholas hits a German suplex on Quen and stomps on him.

Kassidy hits a moonsault on Nicholas on the floor. He gets a two-count on Matthew in the ring shortly after.

Nicholas Jackson is on the turnbuckles, but Isiah Kassidy stops him. Marq Quen hits a side effect and tags in Kassidy. The latter unloads on The Young Bucks.

The Young Bucks almost get a count-out victory, but Private Party are resilient. The Bucks are in control during this stage of the match as Quen has been isolated.

After some back-and-forth, Nicholas Jackson hits a Falcon Arrow on Marq Queen off the barricades. Okada is seen backstage.

Nicholas Jackson is tagged in and Private Part try to get a double pin. Private Party take down The Bucks with dives to the outside.
