AEW Dynamite Live Results (May 15, 2024): Former WWE star FIRED, TOP star RETURNS to fight The Elite, Adam Copeland's wedding ring snatched away, Huge brawls

Post-match, The Elite rush down the ring for an attack on Dax Harwood. Bryan Danielson and Cash Wheeler come out, but get outnumbered. DARBY ALLIN's music plays and he clears the ring and becomes TEAM AEW's 4TH MEMBER.

Kazuchika Okada tries to run away, but Dax Harwood stops him. Towards the end, Okada hits a low blow behind the refs' back and connects with the Rainmaker for the win.

Harwood tries to hit a diving headbutt, but Okada rolls out of the way. Harwood has the sharpshooter locked in, but Okada gets to the bottom rope.

Harwood drops Okada with a discus lariat, but the latter rolls out of a piledriver attempt. Lots of counters and Dax Harwood drops Kazuchika Okada with a tombstone piledriver.

Dax Harwood has a nasty landing after a kick from Kazuchika Okada. The Japanese star hits a neckbreaker on the knees and gets a nearfall. The two men are on the turnbuckles and Dax hits a superplex.

The two stars exchange multiple moves before Harwood drops Okada on the mat. They then exchange some chops before Dax looks for the sharpshooter.

After some back-and-forth, Okada sends Dax to the outside with a dropkick. He then connects with a high boot near the barricades.

The action spills to the outside and Okada is in total control. Dax tries to make his comeback with some chops, but Okada hits some heavy strikes and follows up with a DDT.

We get confirmation that Eddie Kingston will not compete in the Anarchy in the Arena match. Harwood hits some vicious chops on Okada but the latter hits a shoulder tackle. He then slams Dax on the ring post.

The two stars lock up early on and have a back-and-forth. Dax Harwood hits a shoulder tackle and looks for the sharpshooter, but Kazuchika Okada rolls out of the ring.

Mercedes Mone brings up her legacy and signs the contract. Willow stands up and says that the last time the two faced each other, she walked out the champion. Mercedes Mone didn't walk out at all.

The two stars engage in a brawl and Willow puts Mone through a table with a Doctor Bomb.

Willow cuts a fired up promo and says she will not allow Mone to just barge in and take everything away. Mone brings up changing the game in Brooklyn in 2015.

Willow Nightingale comes out next. Willow asks Mone if she respects the TBS Championship and hypes up the gold. Willow says she is the face of TBS.

Mercedes Mone comes out for a contract signing ahead of the TBS Championship match at Double or Nothing.

Will Ospreay and Undisputed Kingdom are in a backstage segment. Ospreay calls the UK members bellends. He then says Roderick Strong has no respect for Ospreay, so he doesn't either.

Strong calls Ospreay a little child. The two stars vow to end one another at DoN.

Towards the end of the match, Toni Storm connects with the Storm Zero for the win.

Cameron stops Storm's momentum with a running knee strike and gets a two-count. Storm hits the Sky High and gets a two-count of her own. The two exchange roll ups.

Toni Storm makes her comeback with a headbutt and drops Harley Cameron with a backstabber shortly after. She then hits a DDT and follows up with a fisherman suplex.

Storm tries to maker her comeback with some chops, but that is short-lived. After some moves. Cameron rocks Storm with a roundhouse kick.

Serena Deeb appears on the entrance ramp and Cameron takes advantage. She slams Storm on the steel steps and chokes the champion in the corner.

Toni Storm vs. Harley Cameron

The two stars have a back-and-forth before Toni Storm applies head scissors in the ring. Storm hits the Thesz Press and dumps Cameron out of the ring with a hip attack.

Hook and Katsuyori Shibata are in a backstage segment. Both men want their hands on Chris Jericho. Samoa Joe confronts Hook and runs down Hook and Shibata.

Hook says he would fight Joe before Shibata says Joe is too large to be wearing a floral pattern.

Post-match, Strickland gets a steel chair shot on Brian Cage. Christian Cage and Mother Wayne come out, but Nick Wayne low blows him from behind.

Killswitch also joins in and Strickland is outnumbered. Nick Wayne blasts Swerve with a family photo. Christian rubs Swerve's bloody face with Strickland's family photo and vows to win the AEW World title.

Strickland counters a Drill Claw attempt and the two stars have a slugfest. After some back-and-forth, Swerve snaps Cage's arm and he follows up with the House Call for the win.

Swerve Strickland hits a stomp on the floor and follows up with a 450-splash, but only for a two-count.

Brian Cage counters and drops Swerve Strickland with some power moves for a two-count. Strickland tries to get the win with a roll up, but only a two-count.

Strickland catches Cage mid-air and hits a brainbuster in the middle of the ring for a two-count. Cage stops Swerve with a knee strike, but the champion counters.

Strickland makes his comeback by targeting Cage's left arm. The two stars have a back-and-forth and Strickland comes out on top. He hits some elbow strikes.

Brian Cage chokes Swerve Strickland in the corner and gets a one-count with a lateral press. The Machine suplexes Strickland from the ropes and gets a two-count.

Cage lifts Swerve up and slams him on the turnbuckles to get complete control in this match. The action spills to the outside and Cage slams Swerve on the barricades and on the apron.

Swerve Strickland makes his comeback with a flatliner, but Brian Cage is up on his feet shortly after. After some brief exchange, Cage batters the champion in the corner.

Strickland finds a landing on the apron and gets the upperhand. He then slams Cage on the barricades before Cage pulls Swerve's arm on the steel ring post.

Swerve Strickland charges at Brian Cage with running double knees before the two stars have a back-and-forth. Strickland looks for a dive on the outside, but Cage catches him.

Swerve Strickland brings up taking Mogul Embassy down. He then says he will end Christian Cage. He also threatens Brian Cage ahead of their match on Dynamite.

Chris Jericho says he is not ready to retire after fans tell him to. He then reveals that a No.1 contender's match will be held for his title on Collision. Hook says OK before attacking Chris Jericho.

Jeircho and Big Bill get the upperhand before Katsuyori Shibata runs down the ring to even the odds. The heels run away.

Post-match, Hook calls out Chris Jericho. The Learning Tree and Big Bill come out. Jericho says he likes to be on Dynamite and share the spotlight. Hook challenges Jericho to a FTW Championship match, but Jericho refuses.

Hook vs. Sebastian Wolfe

Hook hits a T-Bone suplex and follows up with a some clubbing blows to the jaw. He then applies the RedRum for the win. It was Wolfe's Dynamite debut.

Malakai Black cuts a promo on Adam Copeland. He says if he defeats Copeland, then the latter will have to bend the knee infront of House of Black.

We see a backstage segment involving Toni Storm, Mariah May and Luther. Storm's allies and Saraya have been banned from ringside for Storm's match against Harley Cameron.

Post-match, Matthew Jackson takes the mic and brings up Christopher Daniels putting his hands on Matthews. The Bucks then decide to FIRE Daniels, but say he will still get the severance package and everything for 30 days.

CD has been escorted out of the ring. Jack Perry meanwhile throws a drink on Tony Schiavone and calls him a stooge before walking away. Schiavone calls him SOB.

Matthew Jackson dumps Matt Sydal over the barricades as Nicholas Jackson battles Daniels. Towards the end of the match, The Bucks connect with the TK Driver on Daniels for an easy win.

Christopher Daniels is tagged in. He unloads on the Bucks and hits a Death Valley driver on Nicholas. Daniels takes down The Bucks, but get super kicked by Matthew.

Matt Sydal has been completely isolated by The Bucks. Nicholas Jackson hits a leg drop on Sydal for another two-count. Sydal tries to fight back and drops The Bucks on the mat.

Sydal connects with a standing moonsault, but Matthew Jackson kicks out. The Bucks make a blind tag and Nicholas Jackson unloads on Sydal and Daniels.

He stomps on Sydal and rakes his eyes. Matt Sydal is intercepted by The Bucks, but he gets out. Matthew and Nicholas double team Sydal as Nicholas hits a stomp.

Matt Sydal gets some moves in on Nicholas Jackson before Christopher Daniels and Matthew Jackson are tagged in. Daniels knocks The Bucks down before Matthew is isolated.

FTR are in a backstage segment with Renee Paquette. Cash Wheeler says they are not going to forfeit and may have found a 4th member. Dax Harwood warns Okada for tonight.
