After Jay White lays Wheeler out, FTR hits a huge Shatter Machine on Yuta! Cope then nails him with a Spear for the win!

Yuta goes for a move, but Cope counters. Wheeler comes in a house of fire, but Claudio nails him with an uppercut. Jon and Claudio then take out Dax. They tear down the table and climb up with Cope. Mox flips off the referee and teases a Piledriver, but Jay White rushes out and lays out Wheeler Yuta in the ring. Cope then hits a backdrop on the table!

Cope goes for a Spear, but Moxley bails out to the floor. They begin to fight out in the crowd as the referee tells them to get back to the ring. The referee isn't even counting as they fight all over.

Moxley finally gets to the ring and tags in Wheeler. He rakes at Cope's eyes and hits a DDT.

Back from break and Claudio tries to prevent a tag, but Cope hangs him up on the ropes. Dax gets the tag and Cope comes in with fire. He and Moxley start trading strikes, with Cope getting the better of Jon, hitting the Impaler DDT!

In a correction, the former Edge is apparently going by "The Rated R Superstar" Cope now. That's a name choice..

Claudio takes care of Cope and Cash. He goes for the Neutralizer on Dax, but Dax fights it. Claudio still hits a big slam and Yuta hits a splash. An angry Moxley freaks out when Dax kicks out as we go to break.

After the break, The Death Riders are in firm control. Adam Cope finally fights back, hitting a back drop on Wheeler Yuta. He then tags in Cash. Cash comes in like a house of fire, knocking everyone down. He then hits a back suplex on Yuta and a big chop right after. Claudio cuts things off, but Dax comes in and takes care of the Swiss star.

Dax hits a crossbody on Wheeler for a two count. Yuta then hits a suplex to slow Harwood down.

Claudio and Adam tag in. Adam tries a shoulder tackle, but Claudio doesn't budge. Castagnoli goes for an uppercut, but Cope turns it into a headlock. Eventually, he hits an armdrag, sending Claudio to the floor. He also hits a dropkick through the ropes.

Marina Shafir then interferes and pushes Adam face first into the steel post!!

Notably, they're just calling Copeland "Adam Cope". Could it be a name change?

This is Copeland's return to the ring. Dax and Wheeler start things off with Wheeler chopping Dax. They then lock up and Dax gets hit by a shoulder tackle, but returns the favor and chops Yuta multiple times. He then hits a big back body drop.

The Death Riders make their way out. PAC is nowhere to be found. Claudio, Wheeler, and Moxley will be the ones in action. From there, FTR's music hits. They come out, and Adam Copeland follows.

FTR is very over in their hometown. Adam is, too, as you'd expect.

Next, we get a post-match promo from MJF after Worlds End. He is bloody and mocks Adam Cole for losing. He says the chapter between them comes to a close. He says now it is time for retribution. He wants the AEW Championship back. He calls Moxley "Dictator Jon" and asks what's a king to a god? He says nobody is on the level of The Devil, and nobody knows that better than him.

MJF says for all he cares, Jon can burn the company to ashes, but he wants his title, and he's taking it. He says 2025 is when the devil will get his due part two.

Next, Big Bill cuts a promo and sees Adam Copeland and FTR. He buries them, saying the "hometown heroes" need to be taken down a branch or two. Copeland asked if Jericho approved of their corny lines. Adam calls Bill's face "stupid." He then says Rated-FTR vs. The Learning Tree on Collision. Big challenge!

Hobbs dominates both men. He nails a brutal Spinebuster on Rob. He then hits another on Cruz and pins both men.

Next, Hook has a cinematic vignette. He challenges Christian to a match at Maximum Carnage in two weeks. From there, Powerhouse Hobbs' music hits and he'll be in a Handicap Match.

This should be bad for the two enhancement stars.

He asks if the Last Outlaw should ride out of the sunset and then says no! He says he signed his last-ever pro wrestling contract and he re-signed with AEW. He says The Last Outlaw wants one more ride. He wants AEW gold. He then clarifies his New Year's Resolution is becoming the AEW World Heavyweight Champion! Wow!

Jeff talks about the history of his grandmother and father in wrestling before discussing joining wrestling in 1986. He talks about creating TNA and says it produced some of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Jeff grabs a microphone and says, "Slappy New Year." He then talks about having a ton of emotions, with gratitude at the top of the list. A "Double J" chant starts. Jeff says it is sad to start thinking about things coming to an end, but it makes him think of how everything began. He brings up his grandmother selling wrestling tickets in the 1940s and how it changed his family's lives.

Next, we see Mariah May. She tears down the women's division. She says the division needs to prove themselves to her. She says they can't touch her, but she'd love to see them try.

Jeff Jarrett's music then hits. He comes out with boots in hand and a guitar in the ring.

Backstage, Alex Marvez is with Jeff Jarrett's crew. Jeff hasn't talked to them tonight. He shows up and says tonight is a big night. Sonjay asks if Jeff is sure, but they don't say what. Jay says they'll support him 100%, but they want to be sure he's sure. Karen Jarrett shows up and says this business is what brought them together, but almost broke him at times. She says what he wants, she wants, and that they're unbreakable. They hug.

Ricochet hits more headbutts and this is going a long time. He sits Swerve on a chair, covered in Swerve's blood, and then hits the Spirit Gun. Undisputed Kingdom eventually show up and chase Ricochet out.

The attack continues post-match and Ricochet bloodies Swerve further. He hits headbutts and Swerve's blood gets all over Ricochet's white shirt. "You sick f---" chants start. Ricochet then throws Prince Nana into steel steps and he hits him with a chair!

In the ring, Jay nails Roderick with a Bladerunner while Swerve has lacerations. This is over.

Swerve starts fighting back and sends both Jay and Strong out. He climbs the barricade and hits a pump kick to Jay. Then Ricochet grabs his hair from the crowd and nails Swerve with scissors!

Commentary notes all of 2019 Dynamite is streaming on MAX, which is a big announcement!

Swerve hits a big move for a near fall on Jay, but Strong breaks up the pin. He hits a big chop and then an Angle Suplex on Jay. Strong hits the Tiger Driver for a nearfall.

Back from break and a dangerous Tower of Doom spot was hit! Jay White is favoring his knee and might be hurt according to commentary.

Jay sends Swerve and Strong to the floor. He then does a suplex shoulder-first onto the apron and mocks Prince Nana's dance. The crowd doesn't react much. Strong fights back and sends Jay to the floor this time as we go to break.

The crowd chants "Swerve's house" as things start. Swerve gets the advantage early, sending Jay to the floor. Roderick hits a big chop on Swerve and the two trade moves back and forth. Swerve hits a dive over the top onto Jay and the crowd is behind him. Jay hits a double DDT on Swerve and Strong. This is all action.

Next, Jay White makes his way out. Swerve then follows alongside Prince Nana.

The winner earns entry in the Casino Gauntlet next week.

Next, Alex Marvez is with Roderick Strong, Adam Cole, and Kyle O'Reilly. Adam says the Undisputed Kingdom is now complete and 2025 will be their year. Kyle says they have all the bases covered. Roderick says tonight he will earn himself a spot in the Casino Gauntlet next week.

From there, their theme plays and Roderick Strong makes his way out!

After the video, Mercedes says she wants more gold and she's coming for the Rev Pro Championship. She then says money changes everything.

Mercedes comes out and calls herself the greatest TBS Champion to ever exist. A video package then airs highlighting her year in the company. It notes she is 15-0 since joining AEW, what a record.

An Okada video package airs where he asks how many times he has to beat Omega and calls him the b-word. Then Mercedes Mone's music hits! She makes her way out in a dress, so not ready to compete.

After the break, we get a recap of Kenny Omega's big AEW return and teasing a big match with Okada! His Dynamite return will happen NEXT WEEK!

Jamie clubs away at Julia in the corner. Julia then sweeps out Jamie's leg and she crashes down to the mat, holding her shoulder or ribs. The referee checks on her as Julia Hart gets an arrow. The referee stops it, but while distracted, Julia blows mist into Jamie's eyes! She then pins Jamie for an upset win!

Jamie hits a backbreaker, but the hurt leg bothers her. This allows Julia to take control. She goes for a moonsault but doesn't get it right. She then levels Jamie and locks in a submission hold. Jamie hits a knee strike to fight out of it and then powers Julia up. She hits a Death Valley Driver on the knee and a lariat for a two-count!

This is Julia's return match in 255+ days. The two start up and Jamie initially turns her back on Julia. Hart goes after Hayter's arm, but Jamie no sells it and slams Julia down. Julia hits a big knee, but Jamie shrugs it off and rocks Hart. Hayter then hits multiple clotheslines in the corner. Hart hits Hayter from behind and sends her to the floor. Julia jumps off the apron, but Jamie catches her.

Julia slides down and eventually slams Jamie neck and back first onto the steps! Jamie might be hurt.

Back from break and Jamie Hayter comes out! AEW's Becky Lynch has a big match with Julia Hart next. Hart then comes out. Julia's entrance is very cool.

This could be very good, but neither star should lose.

Next, we go to Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. Swerve apologizes for being distracted the last few weeks, but it ends tonight. He says he'll do what he does best. He mentions never winning the gauntlet before and it is noted it is because he was world champion before.

"Bobby" chant as he takes care of The Acclaimed pretty easily. Shelton then beats up Max Caster on the floor. Anthony stares at Shelton, but doesn't do much to help his partner. Shelton dominates Max in the ring, hitting a big suplex and a running knee in the corner. Lashley then Spears Caster and hits a Spinebuster! He locks in the Hurt Lock as Anthony watches on and doesn't help!

The Hurt Syndicate defeats The Acclaimed via submission

Next up, The Acclaimed make their way out. There is still tension between them. The Hurt Syndicate then come out next.

This should be a clear win for Shelton and Bobby. Lashley attacks both Caster and Bowens while MVP joins commentary.

Next, we go to Jay White being angry backstage. He promises revenge on Wheeler Yuta and says he'll find his way to Moxley at Maximum Carnage. He then warns Swerve Strickland and Roderick Strong they'll lose tonight.

Post-match, Hangman attacks Orange. Page nails the Deadeye twice before officials come out. Daniels gets in Hangman's page and he SNAPS, attacking Christopher!

Hangman eats a Superkick, but then goes for a Buckshot Lariat. There's an awkward miscommunication there and the two pause and have a stutter step. Orange then hits a counter. There's a faint "fight forever" chant. Orange goes for the Orange Punch but Hangman avoids it, then gets nailed by two in a row! He hits another, this time on the apron. Hangman sells it briefly before hitting the Buckshot and this is over!

Back from break and Adam Page is in full control. He hits a discus forearm. He goes for the Buckshot Lariat, but Orange does his corny, lazy, slow-motion stuff. He eventually starts fighting back, slamming Hangman into the corner. Tony says Orange putting hands in his pockets "motivates him." Well, that's commentary.

Orange goes for a crossbody, but Hangman catches him. OC reverses whatever Page meant to do with a DDT and then hits another for a near fall!

Hangman tries to keep momentum, but OC fights back and even hits a stunner. He goes for a dive, but Hangman stops it. Adam then hits a Fallaway Slam on the ramp as we go to break!

Hangman Page is checking his teeth, so one may have been knocked out. Orange breaks the count and they go back in the ring with OC hitting a boot and back elbow. He goes for a crossbody but Hangman catches him and nails a Fallaway Slam into the ropes.

Page keeps the upper hand and hits a lariat, sending Orange to the floor. He then slams OC into the barricade. From there, Adam throws Orange into another barricade. Cassidy is favoring his back. Page goes for a powerbomb on the floor, but OC counters with a backdrop. Orange then hits repeated punches by the barricade.
