Claudio and Brody go back and forth with Brody about to hit the Gonzo Bomb. Instead, Claudio hit a low blow! This set him up perfectly to get the quick win! Wow, that was cheap!

Claudio Castagnoli defeats Brody King by pinfall

Following his win, commentary announces Will Ospreay vs. Claudio Castagnoli for NEXT WEEK!

Claudio goes for a springboard but eats an elbow strike. This gets a two-count. Brody hits a HUGE Superplex to Claudio! He hits a Piledriver and Claudio kicks out! That's the same move that took out Randy Orton.

The two men fight on the floor and they're slugging it out. Brody goes for a crossbody, but he crashes into the barricade!

Brody King is bleeding from the nose and maybe the ear. The two begin trading big strikes, and Tony adds that he's "digging this one, guys." Brody hits a big splash in the corner and the crowd barks for him. He then charges with a huge cannonball for a two-count!

Back from break and the big men are going at it. Claudio hits a huge throw for a near fall. He then nails a Death Valley Driver for another near fall. Brody kicks out but eats elbows in a Bryan Danielson tribute or mockery, depending on how you look at it.

Claudio and Brody exchange big strikes, but Brody is showing pain in his hand. It might be injured. Claudio stomps on Brody's shoulder and then slaps his hand into the ring post repeatedly! His arm hits more than his hand, but it might be bad. It is clear Brody walked in hurt.

Main event time. Brody King makes his way out followed by Claudio Castagnoli.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brody King

This is part of the Continental Classic. The two men trade blows back and forth, and fans chant "meat."

Backstage, we have a segment with Renee interviewing Mariah May. Mariah takes shots at Renee asking if she has friends. Mariah is confirmed to wrestle Mina next week. She says she is being generous giving Mina the title shot. May insults the women's division.

Mina shows up and hands Mariah a bottle threatening her to hit her with it. May backs down.

Mercedes says people call her arrogant, but Anna must've been kicked too hard in the head. Mercedes says she likes the confidence but tells Jay to come back in ten years and calls her kiddo. Anna then slaps Mercedes.

Instead of fighting, Mercedes walks out. It is then instantly revealed that she will take on Anna for the title in two weeks at Holiday Bash. Will Ospreay vs. Darby Allin is also announced for the show.

Anna's win marks her eighth win in her last ten matches. She grabs a microphone and calls out Mercedes Mone, who comes out. She has a microphone in hand. Mercedes says if Kris Statlander can't beat her, what makes Anna think that she can?

Anna hits a big dropkick, but Penelope takes out Ford's leg and goes for a running dropkick against the ropes for a near fall. Ford goes for a bridging deathlock, but Anna quickly gets to the rope. Penelope awkwardly stands around, giving Anna time to hit her finish for the win!

Back from the ad, and Penelope LICKS Anna Jay's face! Anna starts fighting back and hits a big running neckbreaker. She then catches Penelope on the ropes but eats a Pump Kick before countering with a Superkick. Anna locks in the Queen Slayer, but Ford counters it and hits a Stunner.

Next up, Anna Jay makes her way out. Penelope Ford follows.

Anna gets control early on, but Penelope uses the ropes to take control. She hits a slingshot double knee attack on the apron and chops Anna. They have an awkward Irish Whip spot that doesn't work before Ford throws Anna into the steps.

We're back with "New York Minute" with Chris Jericho. He promotes Hammerstein Ballroom shows in a very hokey way. He then promotes Honor Club, where he'll have a segment addressing who his opponent will be at Final Battle.

From there, we get a weird cowboy vignette teasing Bandido's return.

Jamie Hayter discusses Julia Hart. She says she came back to right wrongs, and it isn't about Julia. She wants to win the International Women's Cup. Jamie then tells Julia when she comes back, Hayter will lay her out on the mat.

Jay hits a Blade Runner, and Adam Page hits the Buckshot onto Moxley. OC, Hangman, and Jay all stare each other down as Christian Cage watches on and The Death Riders scramble.

Jon Moxley started to leave when Hangman Page's music plays. Moxley and Adam eye each other when someone shows up from behind in a mask and chokes Jon with a camera cord. It is revealed to be Orange Cassidy! He's back!

Adam fights Moxley while Marina beats up Orange Cassidy. He dumps her over the barricade and hits Orange Punch on the Death Riders one by one.

Jay recovers instantly and hits the Blade Runner. Weird finish, but Jay wins!

Wheeler checks on PAC after his loss and then goes after Jay, only for White to hit the Blade Runner on him, too. Marina Shafir then shows up! She causes a distraction, and Moxley attacks Jay from behind, eventually hitting a DDT on him.

Jay hits an elbow, but PAC hits a series of strikes. Jay then hits a half-and-half suplex, dropping PAC on his head. OUCH. Jay goes for a finish, but PAC locks in The Brutalizer. Jay is bleeding from his mouth, but White gets to the bottom rope. This is very good.

Wheeler pulls White out to the floor behind the referee's back and hits a running knee.

Back from break and PAC is in control, but Jay White fires back with big strikes. Chops in the corner and jabs followed by a DDT get Jay a near fall. Out of nowhere, PAC hits a big German Suplex, but White counters with a uranage, leading to both men being laid out.

PAC lures Jay in and then goes for a Black Arrow, but White moves! Jay goes for The Blade Runner, but it is countered.

Back in the ring and Jay White keeps getting the upper hand. Another chop and a suplex that sends PAC to the floor again. It takes Wheeler Yuta tripping White and hitting a strike to take Jay out. The fans are not happy about it. PAC then throws Jay into the barricade as we go to break.

This match is not part of the Continental Classic. Jay White gets the upper hand early on by hitting big chops and using the turnbuckle for his advantage. PAC slides out of the ring frustrated. Back in the ring and Jay almost hits his finisher, but PAC slides out and leaves the ring again angry. He pushes Wheeler Yuta, his own stablemate.

PAC makes his way out representing The Death Riders. So far, the rest of the stable isn't seen with the exception of Wheeler Yuta.

Both of these men are very good, so this should deliver.

Next up, Jay White comes out. Commentary confirms Juice Robinson has a broken leg. Ouch.

We're back from break, and Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly at Winter Is Coming next week is confirmed. We then get yet another pre-taped MJF promo. He says Adam turned on him and has no proof he'd have turned on him first. MJF says Adam's actions caused Roderick Strong's arm to get broken, and now he has to fight his former best friend.

MJF blames Adam Cole for Jon Moxley winning the AEW World Title. MJF says Adam is the villain. He says Cole can't beat Kyle O'Reilly, and it'll be proven next week.

Swerve goes to leave, but stops and turns back to Max. Swerve climbs the ropes and hits a double stomp, but nearly misses Max, so it doesn't look very impactful. That seemed like a botch.

Swerve then tells Lashley it isn't over between them.

Back in the ring and Swerve electrifies the crowd with big strikes. He hits the House Call on Max and this one is over.

That was basically a squash match, wow.

Next, Swerve Strickland makes his way out with Prince Nana. Max Caster comes out next and talks about Hunter Biden "stealing money," which will likely lead to interesting Twitter discourse and Swerve's house burning down. Swerve snaps and attacks Max outside of the ring.

Swerve throws Max into the ring, and the bell sounds. He hits a big throw and then tosses Max back out to the floor.

Next, we get a spooky vignette from Julia Hart taunting Jamie Hayter. It was pretty cool!

Backstage, Billy Gunn is with Max Caster. He calls him the best wrestler alive but says he's going about his match with Swerve all wrong. He seems to annoy everyone around him.

Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole are the last men standing in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal

Next week, the former Undisputed Era members will go one-on-one to determine who faces MJF in the future. A tense standoff happens and Kyle storms off.

Brian Cage and Lance Archer eliminate Rocky Romero by powerbombing him onto people on the floor. Adam Cole eliminates The Butcher with a kick. Kyle, Adam, Brian, and Lance are the final four.

Cage and Cole fight on the apron. A superkick nails Brian Cage and then Cole and Kyle both eliminate Cage and Archer at the same time!

With Will Ospreay's associate in Mark Davis out, who will win?

Action and Romero fight by the ropes. Lio tries to help, but Romero fights both men off, only for Kyle to kick Action off the apron, eliminating him. Kyle eliminates Lio Rush next. Only six men left in the ring.

Mark Davis hits a big piledriver, but he's then eliminated by Brian Cage and Lance Archer who continue to dominate as we go to commercial break.

Evil Uno is first to be tossed out, the AEW veteran is gone within moments. Archer and Cage are dominating, beating everyone up. Top Flight are eliminated by Action Andretti and Lio Rush despite their alliance. Could a split be in the works?

Next up, Adam Cole comes out for the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal.

Adam Cole is in this, so are others such as Lance Archer, Kyle O'Reilly, Evil Uno, Brian Cage, Dante Martin, Lio Rush, The Butcher, Rocky Romero, and Mark Davis, among others.

Back from break and MVP is yelling at Shelton Benjamin for losing. MVP says he's disappointed in his performance and storms off. Lashley shakes his head. Shelton enraged attacks a production crew member! MVP and Lashley join in and beat up security and staff for some reason.

Backstage, Renee is with Mercedes Mone. She brings up Kamille quitting and acts like she's gone from AEW. She then says she'll be watching the women's match tonight and warns them not to mess with Mone.

Hook fights them off, but Christian uses his contract to attack Hook from behind. Kip and Nick grab chairs and Hook becomes the victim of a conchairto to the arm. He looks hurt.

Hook comes out next and challenges Christian Cage to a match at the Hammerstein Ballroom. He then calls out Nick Wayne to fight now. Christian and Mrs. Wayne then make their way out. From out of nowhere, Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne show up and attack Hook!

Kyle charges at Shelton and eats a superkick! Shelton hits a huge German Suplex and then a second one. The crowd really loves Shelton as he hits a third one. Shelton hits a corner running knee next before rolling to the apron. Kyle does a sunset flip into the ring and holds the rope to pick up a win!

Kyle Fletcher defeats Shelton Benjamin by pinfall

The crowd is NOT happy.

Shelton hits a big powerbomb on Kyle for a two count. When Kyle kicks out, Shelton locks in a hold and the crowd really likes it. They chant for Fletcher to tap, but Kyle gets to the ropes. Kyle gets the upper hand quickly and nails an elbow drop from the top rope for a two count. This has to be close to a time limit draw.

Shelton is nearly counted out, but gets back into the ring only to be leveled by a lariat. Kyle gets a two-count. Shelton starts getting back up only to be leveled by a LOUD kick and a Michinoku Driver for a two. Kyle hits a running kick in the corner, but Shelton eventually counters with his whip kick. Impressive!

Back from break and the two are clubbing back and forth. The fans yay Shelton and boo Kyle. Interesting since both are heels.

Shelton slams Kyle into the steps. Benjamin charges, but Kyle moves and Shelton hits the ring post. Ouch. He looks dazed now.

Fletcher and Shelton keep going back and forth. This time, they end up both dumping out to the floor. Shelton is shown wiggling his fingers around and the referee checks on him. He might be really hurt.

Swerve Strickland vs. Max Caster was confirmed for tonight. "Ospreay's better" chant directed at Kyle Fletcher.

Back in the ring and Shelton taunts Kyle, so Kyle mocks him on the ropes. Shelton hits a big back chop and Fletcher is in pain.

This should be fun. The two men lock up and Shelton has the power advantage. Kyle is sent to the floor, but he remains cool and gets back in the ring. He takes the advantage and taunts the crowd only to be leveled by a raging Shelton.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Shelton Benjamin opens and Claudio vs. Kyle will main event the show. The Hurt Syndicate make their way out. Don Callis is a special guest commentary for the night while Taz is still out recovering.

AEW Dynamite begins with a recap highlighting the Continental Classic so far. Kyle Fletcher and Shelton Benjamin will battle tonight, as will Claudio Castagnoli and Brody King.
