AEW Fyter Fest Results: Three title matches, Tazz calls out Jon Moxley (Night 1)

FTR gives Kenny Omega and Hangman Page a beer and surely enough, the words get heated

Trent came a second away from getting the pin but fails to do so. Hangman Page gets Trent back and hits a beautiful moonsault for the win!

Kenny Omega & Adam Hangman Page def. Best Friends to retain the AEW Tag Team Championship

Trent comes close to a pin against Hangman Page, who didn't kick out. It was Omega who had to make the save. But Chuck Taylor hits him with a snap dragon suplex.

The Champions are running in cruise control, beating down both Trent and Taylor. The Best Friends are looking outclassed right now

Hangman Page sends Taylor over the top rope and hits a fallaway slam on Trent. He goes crashing down on Taylor. Trent fights back and Omega gets the tag, hitting a missile dropkick from the top! A fisherman's buster ALMOST ends things!

We forgot to mention that Private Party earned a title shot following their win tonight. FTR are still at ringside and they brought beer! Trent's Mom Sue is in the crowd as he tags Chuck Taylor in. Taylor goes over the top and clears out the Champions!!

AEW just confirmed that Jon Moxley won't be wrestling Brian Cage next week. It's been pushed back another week and will happen two weeks from now

Santana had a bandana over his eye, but by the time he opened it, Quen was there. They finished things incredible and Matt Hardy was out to celebrate with them as their manager!

Ortiz has Quen up on the turnbuckle and hits him with a Liger Bomb. Santana follows it up with another powerbomb and they hit a senton, but Kassidy saved them!

Santana shoves Kassidy, but the latter stuns Ortiz against the ropes, following it up with a suicide dive

Quen makes a narrow tag to Kassidy but Santana doesn't know yet. Santana eats multiple shots to the face

Dustin Rhodes appears and gives a cheapshot to Hager. Hager goes for the submission but Cody Rhodes gets him with a counter pin!!

Jake Hager makes the comeback and immediately goes to choke Arn Anderson at ringside. Cody tries to go after him but gets tossed on the other side

Jake Hager looks to walk towards Arn Anderson at ringside but Cody springs right onto him. Back in the ring, he gets caught in a crossbody. Cody gets him with a toehold and then tries to use Ric Flair's Figure-4-leg lock!

The Bellator Heavyweight Jake Hager outpowers Cody and sends him across the ring to start things off. He then corners him and the referee has to separate them. Cody tries to take control but Jake Hager puts him right back into the turnbuckles and goes after him with some vicious shots

Chris Jericho on commentary was an unexpected addition!

Kip Sabian tries to interfere while Aubrey Edwards is distracted but he eats an elbow. Penelope Ford is in control and tries to finish things with a moonsault but Shida avoids every bit of it. A running knee ends the night for Penelope Ford, who loses consciousness and eats a pin.

Hikaru Shida bends Penelope Ford against her knee before getting hit by a Falcon Arrow. Penelope Ford tries to turn it around with a quick pin again but doesn't get her. Shida tries the missile dropkick from the top rope but Ford evades it beautifully!

Penelope Ford continues to be in the driver's seat. Shida reaches for the ropes, but it doesn't seem to be enough to take control. For some reason, Ford naively lets the Champion get back up, and finally, the lethal offense by Shida begins. It doesn't last too long but the Champion is slowly beginning to turn it around

Hikaru Shida tries to fight back with a series of weak fists, but Penelope Ford has her back against her and puts a resthold on her. She gives the Champion some weak stomps before choking her on the ropes with her leg

Penelope Ford finds herself back in the driver seat quickly and corners her before getting "carelessly" close to another pin.

It goes outside the ring and Ford throws the Champion into the barricade, but Shida is quick to get back at her and slams her against the ring apron

Hikaru Shida goes after Penelope Ford without a second to waste and almost gets caught in a pin

Referee Aubrey Edwards immediately ejects Kip Sabian. He takes away her kendo stick before leaving
