AEW Revolution 2024 Live Results (March 3, 2024): STING'S FINAL MATCH, FORMER WWE STAR RETURNS, NEW CHAMPION, BRYAN DANIELSON LOSES, NO.1 CONTENDER CROWNED

Sting heaps praise on Darby Allin and brings up how Allin is a risk-taker like himself. "You still got it" chants from the crowd.

Post-match, we see a big celebration and loud "Thank You, Sting" chants. Sting thanks the fans in Greensboro. Sting thanks Ric Flair and add that the crowd was awesome tonight.

Darby Allin re-enters the fray and puts Nicholas Jackson through a table. He then hits the Coffin Drop on Matthew before Sting applies the Scorpion Death Lock for the win.

The Young Bucks hit another EVP Trigger, but Sting kicks out at ONE!!!

The Young Bucks double superkick Sting, but he no-sells it and fights. The Bucks hit the EVP Trigger on Sting, but don't get the three-count.

The Bucks hit The Icon with the title belt, but he KICKS OUT!!!

Ricky Steamboat tries to help Sting, but gets laid out at ringside. Ric Flair and Steamboat both get double super kicked by The Bucks.

Nicholas Jackson slams Sting through the glass table and Matthew hits a low blow. He then hits the Scorpion Death Drop for a two-count.

The Young Bucks double team Sting, but the legend dismantles Matthew Jackson. Matthew drives Sting through another table, but HE GETS UP!!!

Darby Allin climbs up the ladder and goes through the glass table after Matthew pulls Nicholas out of harm's way.

The Bucks powerbomb Allin onto a ladder placed inside the ring. Allin fights back and takes down Nicholas. He hits the Code Red on Matthew Jackson.

The Bucks are caught, but Nicholas Jackson puts Darby Allin through a table from the ramp. Matthew Jackson hits a suplex on Sting and sends him through a table from the stage.

Sting, Allin and Sting's sons place pieces of glass at ringside. Sting looks to attack The Bucks with his baseball bat, but they run away through the crowd.

Matthew Jackson get in some blows on Sting, but is dumped to the floor. Darby Allin hits a Coffin Drop on The Bucks.

Sting applies the Scorpion Death Lock, but Matthew and Nicholas Jackson manage to get out.

Darby Allin jump The Young Bucks and shortly after Sting's sons unload with Stinger splashes on The Bucks.

We see a montage of Sting's career before his final ever match.

Ric Flair comes out for the main event. Ricky Steamboat returns to AEW as the special time keeper.

IT'S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT!!!

The first-ever AEW Dynasty has been officially announced.

But Samoa Joe comes in and takes Swerve out with the half-and-half. Joe then applies the Coquina Clutch on Page and retains his title.

Hangman Page attacks another ref amid growing frustration. Page connects with the Buckshot on Joe, but Swerve hits the lariat. He follows up with JML Driver.

Samoa Joe has Hangman Page locked in the Coquina Clutch, but Swerve Strickland comes flying in to break the hold. Prince Nana wants to cheat, but Swerve doesn't want that.

Page takes Swerve out and connects with the Buckshot Lariat on Samoa Joe. Another ONE. A separate ref comes out and Joe kicks out at 2.

Hangman Page attacks the referee and knocks Swerve Strickland out with the AEW World Title.

After some back-and-forth, Strickland drops Joe with a DDT from the middle rope and he follows up with a 450-splash. Swerve hits the Swerve Stomp, Page breaks the count.

Strickland hits the House Call on Joe and one to the back of Hangman Page's head.

Joe with some running elbow strikes and chops. Joe is looking for the muscle buster and he connects on Page. Swerve connects with the Swerve Stomp on Joe.

Swerve hits a powerbomb on Page and follows up with a vertical suplex for a two-count. Samoa Joe unloads on both of his challengers.

After some back-and-forth, Strickland kicks Joe on the floor. He then counters Page, but the latter hits a tombstone piledriver. Joe breaks the three-count.

Hangman Page and Swerve team up together and powerbomb Samoa Joe to take him out for the moment.

Samoa Joe looks for the muscle buster on Swerve Strickland, but dumps him out of the ring with a headbutt.

He then hits a jumping strike to the back of Samoa Joe's head. Joe re-enters the ring and stomps on Page. He hits a running knee strike and follows up with a high-stake for a two-count.

Joe hits some chops in the corner before being dumped out of the ring. Strickland and Page battle in the ring. Strickland hits a elbow strike to the back from the turnbuckles.

Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland confront each other early one, but Samoa Joe separates them and unloads on them. Joe takes Swerve out with a dive and stops Page's dive.

Post-match, Kyle Fletcher comes out and we learn that he will face Will Ospreay on AEW Dynamite.

Will Ospreay then connects with Tiger Driver 91 and finishes off Konosuke Takeshita with the Hidden Blade.

Takeshita pummels Ospreay to the ground and looks for the jumping knee, but Ospreay counters. After a powerbomb, Ospreay connects with Styles Clash (AJ Styles reference?)

Towards the end of the match, Konosuke Takeshita hits a jumping piledriver and follows up with a release German suplex. But Will Ospreay counters with a Hidden Blade.

At one point, Konosuke Takeshita hits a sheer drop brainbuster on the turnbuckle and gets a two-count.

After some back-and-forth, Ospreay goes for the Hidden Blade, but Takeshita stops him and gets a nearfall.

Will Ospreay gets a two-count after a Tiger Driver in the middle of the ring. Ospreay looks for the Oz Cutter, but Takeshita counters it into a blue thunder bomb.

Takeshita connects with a big right hand strike, but Ospreay is not fazed. Takeshita knocks Ospreay down. After some counters, Ospreay connects with a superkick.

After exchanging some strikes, Will Ospreay hits a rolling elbow strike to knock Konosuke Takeshita down. Takeshita is struggling.

Takeshita charges at Ospreay, but the latter counters with a Spanish Fly. Both men are down on the mat.

Konosuke Takeshita makes his comeback with a dive over the top rope. Inside the ring, Will Ospreay goes for a high-flying move, but Konosuke Takeshita hits a thunderous German suplex.

Ospreay is whipped to the ropes, but he hits a corkscrew kick in the middle of the ring. Ospreay takes out Konosuke on the outside. He hits a back suplex, but the Japanese star kicks out at 1.
