And, as expected, India has made their mark very very early in this match. The Indian men's team is absolutely stamping their authority on the Maldives.

The India No. 1 Srikanth is leading the men's team. He is being ably supported by the Asian Championships bronze medallist HS Prannoy. In doubles, they have the services of the Commonwealth Games silver medallists Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty. India also has the national men's doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy in the squad.

So they are quite formidable for the Maldives team.
