India won just one medal in shooting on day 4 but it was a gold medal courtesy of Rahi Sarnobat's incredible display in the Women's 25m Pistol Finals. In a thrilling finish that went to a shoot-off, it was Rahi who held her nerve. Even before the shoot-off she had already set an Asian Games record in the process.

Although Manu Bhaker will be disappointed with her performance in the final after she broke the Qualification Asian Games record, it was another impressive day for India in shooting. Join us again tomorrow for more shooting action  but until then it is goodbye.

And that's the end of the shooting events for the day.

14:35 (IST)22 AUG 2018

India have climbed up to sixth spot in the Asian Games 2018 Medals Tally.

14:26 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Rahi Sarnobat wins the gold in the women's 25m Pistol. India now have four, two of them have come in shooting.

14:26 (IST)22 AUG 2018

What a finish. Be still, my beating heart. Thailand bottle it right at the end and India walk away with the GOLD medal. Wow. That was simply sensational shooting.

Final standings after a frenetic finish

14:25 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Thailand miss the last three and India win despite missing the last two. What a finish this has been and Thailand have bottled it right at the end after having one hand on the gold medal towards the end.

14:25 (IST)22 AUG 2018

India take a lead after three shots. India hit all three, Thailand miss one. How crucial will that be?

14:24 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Will it be Thailand or India for the gold medal? Both hit the first two shots and it is neck and neck with three shots to go.

14:24 (IST)22 AUG 2018

So much drama here. And we will have another shoot-off. Five more shots coming up.

14:24 (IST)22 AUG 2018

And we are level again as Thailand miss when they just needed to hit to win the GOLD medal.

14:22 (IST)22 AUG 2018

The pressure is on both shooters. But more so on Yangpaiboon who has now missed five in a row.

14:22 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Thailand miss all five and the scores are level. It will be a shoot-off for the gold medal.

14:21 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Thailand miss all three and the scores are level with two shots remaining.

14:21 (IST)22 AUG 2018

It is between Thailand and India for the gold medal

14:20 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Thailand lead by two and India are assured of at least a silver medal. But Rahi will need to pull something out of the bag to secure gold.

14:20 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Korea walk away with the bronze medal and Thailand overtake India into top spot.

14:19 (IST)22 AUG 2018

It will be India, Thailand and South Korea for the gold medal

14:18 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Pressure on China's Lin and that is evident in her performance as Korea are assured of a medal as China finish fourth.

14:16 (IST)22 AUG 2018

It is a shoot-off to decide who is in the top three between South Korea and China.

14:16 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Pressure on both India and Thailand, who both miss three in that round. And that lead is just one. But that is a terrible performance from the top two.

14:15 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Rahi is assured of a medal

14:14 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Thailand are the next to be eliminated as Prucksakorn finishes fifth. Rahi still top but the lead is just one.

14:13 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Rahi still top and now has a three shot lead

14:12 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Manu Bhaker has been eliminated. She finishes sixth.

14:12 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Two have already been eliminated

14:11 (IST)22 AUG 2018

South Korea is the second to be eliminated as Kwak finishes seventh. Manu Bhaker is precariously placed at fifth. Rahi still top.

14:09 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Rahi misses three but she is still top. Manu Bhaker is still fifth. Chinese Taipei has been eliminated.

Seven left competing for a gold now

14:08 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Manu Bhaker has had a bad start so far but she still has 5 more shots to catch up before elimination starts.
Leader board after 15 shots

14:07 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Rahi Sarnobat finally misses one but she is still top with 14. Two ahead of Thailand and two more in front of Korea and China who are third with 10.

14:05 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Rahi Sarnobat has been sensational so far hitting 10 out of 10. Manu Bhaker is in fifth with just six out of 10.

Standings after the first two rounds

14:05 (IST)22 AUG 2018

The first round is done but there are four more rounds just like that. Before the eliminations begin.

14:04 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Excellent start from Rahi Sarnobat, who leads the way with five out of five. Manu Bhaker has three.

14:00 (IST)22 AUG 2018

India have two shooters and will be hoping to improve their medal tally with a medal or two. The shooters are ready and the Women's 25m Pistol finals has begun.

13:58 (IST)22 AUG 2018

The good news is that the action is about to get underway.

13:50 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Officially, there is no word yet on when the event will begin but as always, you will have all updates, the moment I do. Until then, why not hop over to the tennis action where India are looking to secure at least bronze by advancing to the semi-final.

13:48 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Officially, the game is supposed to start at 3.00 PM. But what is unclear is what time zone that is. Because Indonesia has three different time zones, it is unclear whether it is in Eastern Indonesian Time (EIT) or Central Indonesian Time (CIT) or local time. It is currently 3.16 PM at Jakarta (local time) and it is 4.16 CIT and 5.16 EIT.

13:44 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Those of you who are waiting for the 25m Pistol finals and cursing me because the event hasn't begun should know that while the event hasn't been delayed, the time zone difference has made life difficult for anyone trying to find out when at event begins.

13:21 (IST)22 AUG 2018

We are less than 10 minutes away from the final of the Women's 25m Pistol that will feature two Indians. Manu Bhaker, who broke the Qualification Asian Games record and finished top and Rahi Sarnobat will be hoping to add to India's already impressive medal tally in shooting.

10:47 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Women's 25m Pistol Finals featuring India's Manu Bhaker and Rahi Sarnobat will take place at 1.30 PM IST.

10:42 (IST)22 AUG 2018

With that, Manu Bhaker and Rahi Sarnobat remain India's only hopes of a shooting medal on day 4 of the Asian Games 2018.

10:35 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Anjum Moudgil just misses out but here are the shooters who qualified for the 50m Rifle 3 Final

10:33 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Despite a strong start, Anjum Moudgil fails to qualify for the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Final as she just misses out.

09:51 (IST)22 AUG 2018

And it's official. Manu Bhaker has broken the Qualification Asian Games Record. She is top and through to the finals along with Rahi Sarnobat.

09:35 (IST)22 AUG 2018

ICYMI: 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary broke an Asian Games Record and walked away with the GOLD medal in the 10m Air Pistol yesterday. That was also India's first shooting gold in Asian Games 2018.

09:19 (IST)22 AUG 2018

India have won seven medals so far in shooting in the Asian Games 2018. Manu Bhaker is certainly doing everything she can to ensure that she adds to it.

09:15 (IST)22 AUG 2018

Women's 25m Pistol Standings

08:49 (IST)22 AUG 2018

08:41 (IST)22 AUG 2018
