Asian Games 2018: Shooting Day 4 Live - Rahi Sarnobat wins women's 25m Pistol gold

India won just one medal in shooting on day 4 but it was a gold medal courtesy of Rahi Sarnobat's incredible display in the Women's 25m Pistol Finals. In a thrilling finish that went to a shoot-off, it was Rahi who held her nerve. Even before the shoot-off she had already set an Asian Games record in the process.

Although Manu Bhaker will be disappointed with her performance in the final after she broke the Qualification Asian Games record, it was another impressive day for India in shooting. Join us again tomorrow for more shooting action but until then it is goodbye.

What a finish. Be still, my beating heart. Thailand bottle it right at the end and India walk away with the GOLD medal. Wow. That was simply sensational shooting.

Thailand miss the last three and India win despite missing the last two. What a finish this has been and Thailand have bottled it right at the end after having one hand on the gold medal towards the end.

India take a lead after three shots. India hit all three, Thailand miss one. How crucial will that be?

Will it be Thailand or India for the gold medal? Both hit the first two shots and it is neck and neck with three shots to go.

And we are level again as Thailand miss when they just needed to hit to win the GOLD medal.

The pressure is on both shooters. But more so on Yangpaiboon who has now missed five in a row.

Thailand lead by two and India are assured of at least a silver medal. But Rahi will need to pull something out of the bag to secure gold.

Korea walk away with the bronze medal and Thailand overtake India into top spot.

Pressure on China's Lin and that is evident in her performance as Korea are assured of a medal as China finish fourth.

It is a shoot-off to decide who is in the top three between South Korea and China.

Pressure on both India and Thailand, who both miss three in that round. And that lead is just one. But that is a terrible performance from the top two.

Thailand are the next to be eliminated as Prucksakorn finishes fifth. Rahi still top but the lead is just one.

South Korea is the second to be eliminated as Kwak finishes seventh. Manu Bhaker is precariously placed at fifth. Rahi still top.

Rahi Sarnobat has been sensational so far hitting 10 out of 10. Manu Bhaker is in fifth with just six out of 10.

The first round is done but there are four more rounds just like that. Before the eliminations begin.

India have two shooters and will be hoping to improve their medal tally with a medal or two. The shooters are ready and the Women's 25m Pistol finals has begun.

The good news is that the action is about to get underway.

We are less than 10 minutes away from the final of the Women's 25m Pistol that will feature two Indians. Manu Bhaker, who broke the Qualification Asian Games record and finished top and Rahi Sarnobat will be hoping to add to India's already impressive medal tally in shooting.

Despite a strong start, Anjum Moudgil fails to qualify for the Women's 50m Rifle 3 Final as she just misses out.

And it's official. Manu Bhaker has broken the Qualification Asian Games Record. She is top and through to the finals along with Rahi Sarnobat.

ICYMI: 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary broke an Asian Games Record and walked away with the GOLD medal in the 10m Air Pistol yesterday. That was also India's first shooting gold in Asian Games 2018.

India have won seven medals so far in shooting in the Asian Games 2018. Manu Bhaker is certainly doing everything she can to ensure that she adds to it.

India's medal hopes in shooting on day four have done a great job so far even though this is just the qualification round. Manu Bhaker is in first place in the 25m Pistol, Rahi Sarnobat is in seventh spot tied with four other shooters and in the 50m women's rifle 3 category, Anjum Moudgil is in second.
