Yesterday saw India collect plenty of medals, including Gold medals in Men's Cricket, Men's Doubles in Badminton, Men's and Women's Kabaddi, and Compound Archery.

The contingent had an eventful day yesterday as they officially crossed the 100-medal mark! It was the women's kabaddi team who edged past Chinese Taipei in the final to hand India their hundredth medal, a gold too!

India also secured as many as 28 Gold medals, with Archery, Shooting and Athletics being the top contributors.

India had a historic campaign at the Asian Games this time, finishing with 107 this time, shattering their highest record of 70 at Jakarta in 2018.
