49' Messi finds Acuna with a wide ball but Bejarano makes a timely interception. It has been a routine move for Messi at Barcelona and Argentina. He attracts the defenders away and tries to lob the ball to the left side for the left winger.

48' Argentina seems to be continuing from where they left in the first-half. They have majority of the possession and carving up the Bolivian defence with ease.

HALF TIME: Bolivia 0-3 Argentina.

A dominating display from the La Albicilieste sees them lead 3-0 at the break. It could have been more goals as well if not for the misses from Aguero in the final third of the first half. The Bolivians had two half-chances from outside the box but nothing worth considering when it comes to the possibility of finding the back of the net. It has been all Argentina so far. Sergio Aguero finds Lionel Messi with a pin-point lobbed ball over the Bolivian defence. Messi goes past his marker Luis Haquin and chips it with ease over Carlos Lampe who was stuck in no man's land. Argentina up 3-0.

40' SAVE! Jeyson Chura tries his luck from way out and the ball swirls in the air and forces Franco Armani to make a diving save to his right to ensure the ball is out of the Argentine net. Close.

39' Messi looks to link up with Correa inside the congested Bolivia box but the pass towards Correa is a little too quick for his liking and it runs out to the safe hands of Carlos Lampe at goal.
