Weverson equalises with a thumping effort on the run, almost ala Carlos Alberto's iconic effort. It was all Alan who made it and Plogmann had no chance with the rocket of a shot.

68' Germany are covering all midfield passing lanes very well. Brazil are finding it really difficult to penetrate the central zones.

67' Wesley with some incision and tenacity on the right but Vagnoman holds his ground well and prevents him from breaking into the box.

66' What a glorious chance for Brazil and what a miss!

Lincoln was on his way towards goal with a simple square pass enough for the equaliser. His pass is overhit and Paulinho wheels away in frustration.

64' Bobsin with a strong challenge on Cetin that keeps the Germany midfielder on the ground. Germany bide some time as Cetin recovers, a useful ploy to slow the game down as Brazil have been growing as a threat in the past few minutes.

62' Germany are barely hanging on here with little to no action in the final third in the past few minutes. Brazil, meanwhile, take another shot at goal but Wesley's effort sails over.

60' Lincoln with an effort with his left foot from an acute angle but Plogmann makes a fingertip save to deny him. Corner Brazil and Lincoln heads a glorious ball just wide. Chance after chance for Brazil and time is running out.

58' Brenner somehow tricks his way into the Germany area but Vagnoman makes the final tackle as Plogmann gets the ball back. Brazil are looking dangerous but not quite there.

57' Some brilliant play from Becker and Yeboah opens up shooting space for Abouchabaka whose effort is deflected behind for a corner. Vagnoman nearly heads the corner from the RB Leipzig man into the net as Brazil survive.

54' Brazil try to create combinations with Paulinho and Weverson on the left but Germany do well to keep them from the goal. Meanwhile, Alan drags his shot from outside the box just wide.

45+2' Abouchabaka with an effort for Germany which is the end of the action in the first half. Becker suffers a knock after a coming together with Brenner and both teams go into the break with an open second half coming up.

43' Germany are ripping Brazil apart here. Abouchabaka on the left, Yeboah on the right. Brazil are having no answers as Abouchabaka's pull back for Arp is just blocked off. Brazil are at sixes and sevens out there.

Lincoln has been the main threat for Brazil. But he has had to come deep time and again.

Yeboah's cross after a quick break almost falls into Arp's feet for a tap-in but Vitao makes a last-minute intervention to clear the ball.
