The Goan side claim their first win of the season and it's a big one - a giant-killing so to speak. Bengaluru FC remain in fourth place with 9 points while Churchill Brothers move up from the bottom of the table to seventh.

This will be a huge blow to the defending champions and Roca will have a lot to ponder as the Blues did not look like scoring at all compared to their dominant performances in the home games at the start of the season.

90+3' It seems like only Chhetri wants to get that second goal as he plays with purpose and urgency but without any help forthcoming he loses out under pressure from the Churchill defence.

90+1' Bengaluru FC's corner comes to nought as a header at the far post goes wide.

90' Chhetriii... Deflected for a corner. Route one football sees Vineeth chest the ball down for Chhetri and his shot on goal is deflected by a defender. It's all happening!

89' SUBSTITUTION: Churchill make another substitution as Anthony D'Souza comes on for the injured Lyngdoh.

87' Play finally resumes... And it's paused again as Chesterpoul Lyngdoh goes down with cramps. The referee quickly calls in the stretcher bearers and he's carried off the pitch so play can be restarted.

85' PANDEMONIUM! There's a lot of pushing and shoving as Johnson argues with the Churchill Brothers while he walks off. Churchill coach Alfred Fernandes seems to be hurt as he clutches his head.

Now there's bottles raining down from the crowd and Roca is not too pleased either.

84' RED CARD! John Johnson has been sent off for a very late tackle that chopped down Costa. That was a terrible challenge and the red card was deserved.

82' Priyant leaps into the air to catch a cross before CK Vineeth can get to it and does so successfully. However, he looks to have injured himself and throws the ball out of play. It looked more like a time-wasting tactic as he was up on his feet as soon as the physio came on.

80' HANDBALL! A promising Bengaluru attack breaks down as Chhetri tries to find Lyngdoh with a quick pass but the ball hits the midfielder's hands and Churchill heave a sigh of relief.

79' SUBSTITUTION: Roca makes his final change as Alwyn George, who has not done anything to impress in this game, is hooked off for another forward Daniel Lalhlimpuia.

77' Mollick gets into the box and manages to send in a cross before he is closed down. But his cross, directed to the far post, is smartly caught by Amrinder in the air.

76' The Bengaluru players really are out of ideas as every now and then one of them puts their palms up, as if to ask their teammates, "What are you doing?"

74' SAVE! This time at the other end. Surchandra Singh looked like he was going to pass but sends a stinging shot on goal that had to be palmed away by Amrinder. Nobody saw that coming!

73' WHAT A SAVE! Mandar's cross from the left sees Vineeth stick his foot out to direct it goalwards. But Priyant makes a fine reflex save to deny Vineeth as he sends the ball over the bar for a corner.

71' OFFSIDE! Amrinder collects the ball (near the centre circle!) attempts a long ball to Udanta Singh on the right but the young winger started his run too early and the flag goes up.

70' Lyngdoh pings a pass to Chhetri's feet and the captain controls it well before he turns and tries to release Lyngdoh. But with four defenders around him, he can't find a way through.

68' Bengaluru have seen more of the ball in the past few minutes but they're out of ideas in attack. There doesn't seem to be any cohesion when they move forward and most of their passes are weak and easily intercepted by the Churchill defence.

65' OFFSIDE! Another long ball is sent deep into Churchill's half and the pass finds Sunil Chhetri. However, the linesman's flag goes up and it was the right decision. That could have easily been turned into a threatening attack on the left.

60' SUBSTITUTION: Bengaluru FC need goals and so Roby Norales and Nishu Kumar make way for Mandar Rao Desai and Udanta Singh.

58' The Bengaluru players are getting frustrated now and it's showing in the way they lose possession while trying to build up their attacks. Churchill have been resolute at the back and have consistently tried to find Wolfe whenever they win the ball back.

56' SAVE! Priyant makes a fine catch in the box as Bengaluru FC's corner sent in by Cameron Watson threatens to find the head of John Johnson.

53' Chesterpoul Lyngdoh puts Churchill Brothers in front! Anthony Wolfe puts him through on goal and his dink beats John Johnson and goalkeeper Amrinder to find the back of the net. How about that! 2-1 to the home side!

53' Chhetri has seen enough and has tracked back yet again to win the ball back. This time he's back in the box to impede the progress of Mollick on the right.

51' OVER THE BAR! A Churchill counter-attack sees Mollick receive the ball outside the Bengaluru box and he unleashes a shot that flies over the bar much to Amrinder's relief.

50' CK Vineeth and Norales attempt a one-two and almost get away with it before Adil Khan makes the interception. The Churchill Brothers defender has read the game well so far.

48' This time Roby Norales traps a long ball with his chest but the touch is heavy and two Churchill players swarm around him to pick the ball off of him.

46' Juanan makes a clearance which surprisingly finds Roby Norales on the right. The Honduran forward probably didn't expect it either and misjudged the bounce, losing out on the ball.

Bengaluru FC is the first team back on the pitch - coming on even before the referees. It looks like Roca's half-time team talk was very brief.

Roca will not be pleased with the way Bengaluru conceded such a simple goal, especially just before they play their AFC Champions League Second qualifying round match against Al-Wehdat.

On the other hand, Alfred Fernandes will ask for more of the same from Churchill - stop Bengaluru in their tracks and counter at will by using target man Wolfe up front.

PEEP! HALF-TIME: Churchill Brothers 1-1 Bengaluru FC

45+2' Churchill Brothers earn a free-kick and test Amrinder with a cross deep into the Bengaluru box but the referee blows the whistle for a foul as Amrinder goes up for the ball.

45+1' Adil Khan reads the Bengaluru attack very well and makes a quick interception and sprints with the ball into the Blues' half. But his attacking instincts aren't as good as his defence and his through ball is easily intercepted.

45' TWO MINUTES ADDED ON.

44' Khabra makes an interception and makes a neat turn under pressure from two players and initiates an attack thanks to some good interplay. However, at the other end a cross into the box is cleared yet again.

42' Nishu Kumar whips in a cross from the left to the far post and Roby Norales tries to head it back into the centre of the box to Vineeth. Unfortunately, the header can't find his teammate and Churchill get the ball away.

39' FOUL! The Bengaluru FC players are losing their heads. Khabra loses his patience and Chesterpoul is fouled in an attempt to win the ball back. The youngster needs treatment but he is fit to continue.

36' Mollick and Keenan Almeida try to make some progress down the right side but Mollick's pass to Almeida in the box is cut out by Sunil Chhetri who has tracked back all the way into his own box. Almeida loses the ball under pressure and Bengaluru win a goal kick.

33' A free-kick sent long aimed at Anthony Wolfe sees the striker beat Juanan and Amrinder to the ball. The goalkeeper rushed out but couldn't collect the ball and Wolfe slips it past the defender and 'keeper to find the net.

That was so unexpected and Bengaluru have paid for being a little lax at the back. 1-1!

32' YELLOW CARD! Juanan has been booked for a physical challenge and the players are unhappy with the decision. Albert Roca is the picture of disbelief on the touchline while the referee tries to calm things down.

30' Surabuddin Mollick puts on his dancing shoes and performs at least five stepovers in front of Nishu but his cross is wayward.

29' SO CLOSE! Chhetri makes a superb solo run past the Churchill defence, cuts into the box from the left and sends in a delightful cross to the far post but Roby Norales can't get his header on target. That could easily have been 2-0.

27' Neat interplay between Chhetri and Vineeth but they can't make any inroads into the box. Chhetri has been dropping deep to improve Bengaluru's numerical strength in midfield.

26' The game has opened up a bit now that Churchill need a goal. Bengaluru are very organised at the back with two banks of four and the Goan side cannot find a way through.

22' Sunil Chhetri steps up to take the penalty, sends goalkeeper Priyant the wrong way and finds the top left corner with a fierce strike! Nobody could have saved that!
