While RCB did not have the most happening auction, a look of their squad shows us why they're such a balanced unit.

Other signings include Pawan Negi, Aniket Choudhary, Praveen Dubey and Billy Stanlake.

RCB's most expensive buy is that of English fast bowler Tymal Mills who was acquired for 12 crore.

The next stage is for each team to submit upto 3 names who have not been sold yet that they would like to bid on.

The auctioneer has raced through the 79 names that were resubmitted by the teams for the second round of bidding.

The action has gone by in a flash in the last hour! Teams were requested to list down the players they would like to bid on, and that has fastened the bidding process as we've seen a lot of players go after just one bid.

RCB had 2.4 crore left in the purse and Mohammed Siraj was sold to SRH for 2.6 crore!

This was like a game of poker! They just kept calling each other's bids before the Sunrisers priced the RCB out.

His base price was 20 Lakhs. He's gone up to 2.6 crore!

Plenty of experience and a world-class Indian seamer. The only doubt is whether they can afford him should there be a bidding war.

Summarising RCB's IPL auction so far - They didn't splash the cash for Ben Stokes as was widely expected, and instead went for Tymal Mills, for whom they spent a massive two crore! Earlier in the day, a tidy piece of business led to Pawan Negi's acquisition for a crore and before the lunch season, they added another pacer to their arsenal. Aniket Choudhary - who was used to train India's batsmen for the Mitchell Starc challenge was signed for 2 crore. There's just over 2 crore left in the kitty.

While it looked like he might go unsold at one stage, his price has gone all the way up to 2.8 crore!
