East Bengal have slumped to their sixth consecutive loss at the Kolkata Derby in the ISL. The Mariners scored two goals in the second half to seal the tie and their place in the third spot.

Right from the opening exchanges, the match followed in a similar direction. EBFC were happy to sit back and let ATKMB dominate possession.

Stephen Constantine's side's counter-attacking system failed tragically as they looked clueless in transition. After the injection of fresh legs in the second half, the Mariners looked a lot more lethal, and ultimately Slavko Damjanovic and Dimitri Petratos scored for the Green and Maroon Brigade.
