Recap: Gareth Bale's delicious cross into the box was turned home by McAuley who tried to get in the way before Robson-Kanu made contact. It was enough to put Wales through after struggling to break down N Ireland all game.

75': Ramsey releases Bale on the left and he whips in a delicious cross into the six-yard box. McAuley doesn't want Robson-Kanu to get on the end of it and sticks a foot out, diverting it into his own net.

While Wales have struggled to get going, N Ireland have passed better in this match compared to the 1-0 loss to Germany. Opta says they've completed more passes in 45 minutes against Wales than they did in 90 against the Germans.

44': YELLOW CARD! A reckless challenge on Gareth Bale from Stuart Dallas sees the Irishman go into the book. He will now miss the next match - if N Ireland reach the quarter-final.

41' N Ireland sit back when Wales have the ball. It's a good strategy because Coleman's side are not exactly equipped to break down sides that sit deep.

39' Lafferty is relieved after Atkinson whistles for a foul on him by Gunter. The wing-back was putting him under severe pressure on the flank and he wins a free-kick. Annnd Wales clear the danger again, but it goes out for a corner.

38' It's been a very cagey affair so far with neither side stamping their authority on the game. Who will break the deadlock? All eyes are on Bale who has scored in every game so far.
