74' Huge Chance! Saviour Gama curls a beautiful cross towards the opponent's third. Jorge Ortiz picks up the ball and rushes towards the goal in an attempt to score. He does, however, fall far short of the mark.

70' Goa's Jorge Ortiz Mendoza hits the mark yet again, but the ball is cleared by the Northeast United defenders.

67' CHANCE! Jorge Ortiz almost pulls the feat! Ortiz has an open shot and shoots from close range, but Michu makes a superb decision to grab the ball.

61' Highlanders have a chance to take the lead, but Ralte is caught offside.

60' Cleared the path! Jorge Ortizth the ball on the right side and takes it deep before delivering it inside the box to Airan Cabrera. In turn, Airan's ball tries to find Alberto Noguera, who is packed by a few defenders but still manages to get his shot away. It is deflected off one of the defenders and lands on the net's roof.

57' Yellow card. Suhair gets the second Yellow of the night.

52' Good defending from NEUFC! Alexander Jesuraj finds the ball at his feet after a wonderful cross from the right side. He hits it inside the box, hoping to hit Jorge Ortiz, but Patrick Flottmann follows him and heads it out to safety.

48' SO CLOSE! This time, it's Alex Romario who pulls the trigger from a long range, but Mirshad comes up with a great save. It's a fantastic shot, and Mirshad Michu makes an equally fantastic save.

46' The second-half is underway. Both teams are onto their toes!

What a thrilling first half of football we just witnessed! Both clubs are desperate for three points, which was evident in their play. NorthEast United FC took the lead fairly early in the game, thanks to Hernan Santana's brilliant free-kick in the second minute.

As the first half continued, the Men in Orange became more comfortable with the game and began to develop some powerful attacks. Airan Cabrera's header to convert a corner kick eventually brought them level terms in the 39th minute. We're in for a thrilling second half, given how eager both teams have been to attack. Keep your eyes peeled.

Halftime! The referee blows the whistle, signaling the end of the first half. The score is at 1-1, with another 45 minutes of entertaining football ahead.

38' GOOOAAAALLLL! It's the Spaniard Airan Cabrera & FC Goa scores an equaliser just before halftime. From the right corner, Noguera hits a well-placed floating ball, as Cabrera capitalizes on poor man-marking and calmly sends a superb header inside the net to put the Gaurs back in the game.

33' FC Goa earns a corner. Chance! Dheeraj Moirangthem sends a beautiful long pass to Jorge Ortiz on the left flank. He rushes ahead and attempts a goal, but it is deflected off a NEUFC defender. FCG is awarded a corner.

32' Time for Drinks! Last few minutes at the Bambolim have been action-packed, with NEUFC taking the lead. Drinks are on the field now, and FCG is working on a way to tie it up before the break.

30' Dheeraj makes a brilliant save. NorthEast's striker Suhair Vadakkepeedika strikes shot on target, but is successfully cleared by the Goa's custodian Dheeraj Singh

20' SAVE! Mirshad Michu makes a brilliant save to keep Ortiz at the bay. Jorge Ortiz use his strong first touch to keep the ball in play on the left wing. He then exploits his skil beats Provat Lakra as he nears the box's edge and as he pumps the trigger, Mirshad Michu lunges across to his left to catch the ball.

18' CHANCE! Deshorn Brown it is! FC Goa lose possession of the ball, which is then played into the path of Deshorn Brown, who advances forward. As he reaches the box, he beats a few of defenders, but his shot is well over the goal post.

11' FC Goa attacks in their own unique style. The Gaurs had another fantastic chance to score. While unmarked, Noguera has a very easy opportunity to score, but the Spaniard flicks it aside the nets.

8' FC Goa building the game slowly. Things have begun to calm down after a flurry of chances. Both teams are attempting to play the ball in the midfield while waiting for a chance to build a move. FCG have not been at their best in the attacking third thus far.

3' GOOAALLLL!! That's colossal. SANTANAAAAA draws the first blood for NorthEast United FC. Wow, what a freekick. From Leander's foul, NEUFC had the first chance of the game. Santana shoots direct from the freekick and neatly dips the ball in the net to give the Highlanders an early lead. Desperate Dheeraj had no choice, but to watch the ball into his nets

2' Yellow Card. That's a nasty foul. Early booking for Leander D'Cunha. Hernan Santana has the ball just outside the area, and Leander D'Cunha slides in to take it away from him. It's a risky move, and the referee had no problems about issuing him the yellow card.

1' KICK OFF. NorthEast United get the first touch on the ball and here we go...
