66' WHAT A SAVE!!! KEYLOR NAVAS MAKES A CRUCIAL DOUBLE SAVE! Carrasco chases a long ball and gets past Danilo, before drawing an incredible save from Navas with a low curling shot. The Costa Rican keeper gets up well to then block Gameiro's header from the rebound and prevent a certain goal!

40' Benzema does well to charge down the right side of the box, but Luis sticks out a leg to concede a corner. Kroos steps up to take the set-piece - which ends up straight in the arms of Oblak, who rose highest above the mess of defenders in the box.

38' OOOH! Ronaldo spreads the ball wide to Isco making a great run on the left wing, cutting inside Gimenez to work a yard of space in the box, but the Spanish midfielder makes a mess of his strike, scuffing it straight into Oblak's arms.

36' End to end stuff as Griezmann and Carrasco combine on the right, only for Modric to intervene in the box and set off on the counter for Madrid too, which ended with Ronaldo's strike from range being blocked.

Moments later, Isco clatters into Griezmann from behing, but Gabi goes into the book for yelling his best Spanish obscenities at the referee.

33' The Real Madrid players surround the referee as Godin jumps into Ronaldo from behind as they challenged for an aerial ball, with the Portuguese star going down in agony, while Godin goes into the book. Ramos gets a yellow card as wel, for remonstrating with the referee.

32' It's all been a bit turgid in the last few minutes, with plenty of fouls in the middle of the park. The Calderon roars as Casemiro slides in to tackle Griezmann from behind as Atletico set off on the counter, but the Brazilian escapes a yellow card (I feel that I should keep that phrase on hand)

28' Atletico have stifled Real Madrid - the visitors have had 62% of the possession, but every time they make a foray forward, up steps an Atletico midfielder or defender to block Los Blancos. Koke is the latest to do so, albeit illegally as he trips Modric and is lucky to escape a booking.
