Finally a good delivery into the box but that was punched away by Khaled Lawali. He clatters into Yakubu and he is down.

81' - The corner is deep but that is volleyed back into the box.

Comes back to the original corner taker - Yacine Wa Massamba who plays it to Karim Tinni. Tinni's pass is a bad one and Ghana threaten on the break with Aiyah.

He plays it to the middle where Lavvey was but good tracking back from Farouk Idrissa who gets is toe in and that is out for the corner.

The delivery is good but Danlad gets that out for a corner.

79' - Substitution for Ghana as Mohammed Iddriss comes on for Isaac Gyamfi.

77' - Karim Tinni down the left side of the penalty box but just stumbles at the wrong moment.

The Niger keeper Khaled Lawali has gone down. He was the only one who didn't go and take fluids during the cooling break.

70' - Ball over the top and Aiyah there on the chase. Moctar Ousmane, however, was there every step of the way. And he puts it behind for a corner.

68' - Ghana bossing the game here and Toku again looks to go down the right byline. But he is closed down by a couple of Niger players.

66' - HOW DID HE MISS THAT?!

Arko Mensah with the ball into Toku who lays it off for Aiyah. His shot was met at the far post by Mensah and from two yards out he puts that over the bar when it seemed harder to miss than score.

65' - Tha corner is played short and now Sulley is fouled.

64' - Action begins and Toku with some delightful footwork on the right. He glides past two and then tries to curl it on his left.

That was creeping in but Khaled Lawali was equal to the task.

61' - Owusu is down again and it looks like his game is over.

59' - Rachid Soumana gets the intercepts the ball from the back from Ghana but his ball is overhit.

57' - Toku still down and he is being stretchered off at the moment.

56' - Toku with some quick feet at the edge of the box and he goes down in a heap from a challenge from Salim.
Referee deems that fair and the ball falls to Aiyah.

His shot is blocked.

54' - The deliver from Arko-Mensah is a poor one.

53' - Ghana down the right and they have again earned themselves a free-kick.

52' - Toku with the delivery but that was a very bad delivery that rockets past all. Owusu tries to get that ball back - he does but his studs got stuck in the turf and he has fallen over.

Ibrahim leads the counter and he produces a good crossfield pass to get Niger through on goal. But a bad touch leads to the attack fizzing off. Sofianne gets the ball back for Niger but his ball is poor as well.

51' - Nasser Mahaman conceded a corner for Niger and Ghana are looking dangerous in the early goings.

50' - Mensah with a long ball to the left. But Niger get that away easily.

48' - Arko-Mensah down the right and he has made a good run there to get to the ball but Rachid Alfari is there and a shoulder barge leads to the Ghanaian rolling on the ground in agony.

And we are underway.

Aiyah picks himself and slots that low to the left of the keeper. And Ghana have the lead and deservedly so.

Just as it was looking Niger will go in unscathed a mistimed tackle from Farouk Idrissa on Aiyah leads to the referee pointing to the spot.

Four minutes added on.

44'- The corner has been dealt with and Niger are just living on the edge at the moment.

43' - Some really nice work down the left but a great tackle come in from the Niger defender to get that away for a corner.

42' - Corner cleared and Niger look to break down the middle but that is ended thanks to a poor touch.

41' - Ghana get the ball back and it is Yakubu who put a cross in.

That was heading in towards goal and the keeper has to palm it over for a corner.

40'- Ghana asking questions down the left and Arko-Mensah goes down. But the ref waves play on.

39' - Ghana come back to have another shot. This time it is their skipper Aiyah.

On the left foot and skied high and wide.

38' - Toku cuts back and lets one rip but Moctar Ousmane is there to get it away.
