Luis Suarez opened the scoring for the home side towards the end of the first half before 19-year-old Jeremy Boga pulled the home side back on level terms. Alcacer made it 2-1 before Rakitic's strike was diverted into his own goal by Saunier. Neymar capped off the win with a well-deserved goal - which was also his 100th for Barcelona. The win helps the Camp Nou outfit maintain pressure on Real Madrid.

Spare a thought for Guillermo Ochoa, who was absolutely sensational for the home side.

Barcelona record a comfortable win in the end and with that move to within 2 points of league leaders Real Madrid. It was not the most straight-forwards of victories but the Catalans will not mind it.

FULL-TIME: Granada 1-4 Barcelona

90+2' Neymar has another chance to make it 5-1. The Brazilian takes a second to think before he unleashes a curler into the bottom corner with Ochoa well beaten. The ball cannons off the post.

Barcelona hit Granada on the break and it is a 4 against 2 scenario. Alcacer crossed the ball from the right to Neymar who is waiting to bundle home from close range and he manages to get the desired connection to make it 4-1 and effectively kill off the tie.

90+1' GOOOOAAAALLL!!! Neymar make it 4-1

90' 2 minutes of added time.

90' And now Boga is denied by Ter Stegen. Against the run of play, Granada have a chance with Boga released in the middle but his shot is blocked by the German.

88' And Neymar is denied once again. This time by Lomban. Suarez races down the right and cuts it back for Neymar who had made a run down the middle. The cross almost reaches Neymar but Lomban get a leg out and clears it.

87' Substitution: Barcelona make their final sub as Rakitic is replaced by Alena.

86' Neymar almost makes it 4-1. The Brazilian tries to beat the Granada defence with a sight dink but is stopped. He goes down but Lomban takes a lot of time on the ball allowing the 25-year-old to get up and rob him off the ball. He then tried to beat Ochoa from close range but is denied.

83' And Barcelona immediately make their numerical advantage count. Suarez and Rakitic combine of the edge of the box before the Croatian tried to find the back of the net from the edge of box - but his strike is going wide and takes a wicked deflection off a Granada defender and Ochoa cannot do much as the ball trickles into the back of the net. GAME OVER!

79' Another booking. Cards are flying here and it is Agbo's turn to go into the referee's books.

83' RED CARD for Granada. And Agbo has been given his marching orders. The Granada players cannot believe it. Granada are down to 10 men for the dying minutes of the game.

79' Substitution: Cuenca comes on to replace Silva as Granada throw the kitchen sink in the search for an equaliser.

78' Yellow Card: Rakitic is booked for dissent.

75' Barcelona are happy to hold on to possession as they try and run down the clock. Can Granada find an equaliser and dent Barcelona's hopes?

71' Neymar swings in a corner and it falls to Mathieu, who tries to beat Ochoa with a cheeky attempt but fails to direct it on target.

70' Granada's assistant has been sent off to the stands for dissent and the manager is not happy.

Granada are fighting for their top-flight status and they will not go down without a fight.

The introduction of the World Cup winning Spaniard should help introduce some calmness to Luis Enrique's side. But anything can happen and this tie is far from over.

67' Substitution: Andres Iniesta comes on to replace Andre Gomes.

66' Rakitic has the ball on the edge of Granada's box and the Croatian unleashes a left-footed strike and Ochoa is equal to it as he awkwardly tips the ball over.

Suarez holds off Lomban and is able to thread a through ball into the path of Alcacer, who beats Ochoa with a neat finish. The Catalan giants needed a goal and Alacacer has stepped up to the occasion.

64' GOOOAAALLL!!! Alcacer scores and Barcelona are ahead once again.

60' Yellow Card: And now it is Alba's turn to go into the referee's books for a lunge on goalscorer Boga.

59' Yellow Card: Lomban is booked for a cynical foul on Suarez!

55' Substitution: And Granada make their second sub with Ramos coming on to replace Kravets.

That is a huge blow to Barcelona's slim hopes of winning the La Liga title this season. They need to bounce back and fast.

The 19-year-old came on less than 5 minutes ago and he has brought his side one level terms. Pereira released him down the right and Boga cooly slots it to the far post of Ter Stegen from a very narrow angle.

50' GOALL!!! Boga makes it 1-1. Granada are back into the game.

47' And Ochoa has been called into action. Alacacer's shot is saved by the Mexican after he was set up by Mascherano.

46' Substitution: Granada make their first sub of the game and it is a tactical one. Angban is replaced by Boga.

46' And we are underway in the second half.

Barcelona have the much-needed breakthrough courtesy of Suarez's brilliance. They have struggled in the absence of Messi and Iniesta. Can they hold on to their win? :o

Suarez is finally able to beat Ochoa and what a way to do it. Take a bow!
Alba pings a crazy ball over the top into the path of Suarez, who controls excellently before chipping it over the advancing Mexican from the right edge of the box. The Uruguayan had been denied on many occasions by Ochoa but not anymore.

45' GOAAALLLL!!!! WHAT A STRIKE BY SUAREZ! 1-0!

43' Neymar is released into the box with an inch-perfect through ball by Rakitic but he is unable to round off the keeper and score.

41' And now it is Rakitic's turn to take a shot from range but the Croatian cannot keep it on target.

38' WHAT A MISS! Barcelona have a free-kick down the right and Neymar is the one taking it. The Brazilian puts in an excellent cross for Mathieu to bury from close range but he fails to make contact with it.

36' Alba's lung-bursting run is spotted by Neymar but the Spaniard's cutback is a poor one and Granada are able to clear.

34' Ochoa denies Suarez once again. This time the Uruguayan goes down under heavy pressure from a Granada player and he tries to beat the Mexican from close range but Ochoa is equal to it.

30' Manchester United's on-loan attacked Perreira goes down inside the box after a challenge from Mathieu and the game is temporarily stopped as he needs medical assistance.

28' Yellow Card: Roberto is booked for a cynical foul onSilva.

27' How are Barcelona not ahead. Neymar makes a run down the left once again and finds Suarez in the middle. The 30-year-old does a quick one-two with Rakitic before trying to beat Ochoa but his shot is saved.
The ball then falls to Rakitic who again finds Suarez - both inside the box - and Suarez is again denied by the Mexiacan.

That was easily Barcelona's best chance of the half.

24' WHAT A STRIKER BY SUAREZ! Neymar and Gomes combine down the left with the Brazilian going on a crazy run before cutting the ball back for the Uruguayan, who is unmarked at the edge of the box. Suarez waits a second before unleashing a right-footed stinger that cannons off the crossbar. How did that not go in?
Neymar buried the rebound but he is offside.
