Chasing a steep target, RCB started off cautiously, before Kohli and Rahul shared a 94-run opening partnership. After Rahul's 38-run contribution, Watson came in with a 36-run cameo which tipped the balance in their favour. But throughout the innings, Virat Kohli, by playing some exquisite strokes, anchored the chase and ended with his second ton of this edition.

This was a masterclass by Kohli. He hadn't chased and finished the game for his side so far in then IPL, and he chose to do so this evening. Better late than never, as RCB keep up their hopes of making it to the playoffs.
