FC Goa consolidated their position in the top four as they put on a convincing all-around performance on the pitch. Kerala Blasters did well to recover after an early goal was conceded but Goa fired back and held on to ensure the three points.

An exciting half of football comes to an end in Kochi as the teams go into the break on level terms. After taking an early lead through Corominas, Kerala Blasters rallied to equalize with a C.K Vineeth goal.

45+1' - Milan Singh takes down and kicks the ball at Ferran Corominas as the Goan players crowd the referee and Sandesh Jhingan steps in to calm things down. That was a booking and it is a surprise that the ref has kept his cards in the pocket.

44' - Iain Hume has been booked for a late challenge on FC Goa's central defender Mohammed Ali. The medical staff rush in to provide treatment for the young Gaur.

42' - The resulting free-kick is taken by Iain Hume who curls it over the wall with ease but it is straight into the hands of Kattimani.

40' - Manuel Lanzarote has been booked for a high footed challenge on Courage Pekuson.

39' - After the initial pressure and dominance by FC Goa, C.K Vineeth's goal has boosted the Blasters' morale and they look more organized and comfortable on the pitch.

27' - Wes Brown becomes the first player to be booked as he tugged on Coro who had beaten him on the turn.

25' - Iain Hume was brought down in the box but the ref denied any penalty appeals. Siam Hangal latched onto the loose ball and hit the crossbar from outside the box.

21' - Coro gets on the end of a long-ball from Edu Bedia and lays it back for Brandon Fernandes whose shot is diverted out for a corner. Kerala defence was split wide open by that aerial ball.

19' - Milan Singh and Siam Hanghal have been wasteful in possession in the midfield and lost a couple of balls to FC Goa attackers.

17' - Vineeth and Anto combine well on the right flank but the move is broken down by the Goan defence.

15' - Quarter of an hour gone as Goa have maintained control of the tempo of the game; Kerala have struggled to string together passes in the middle of the park so far.

10' - Goa keep attacking Kerala from the left flank as Mandar Rao Desai takes on Rino Anto and takes a long-range effort but it is easy for Rachubka to deal with.

6' - GOAL!!! The pressure has paid off for the visitors !! Mandar Rao Desai is picked well on the left wing by Brandon Fernandes and he cuts inside to square it for Coro, who takes his time and slots into the Kerala goal to silence the home crowd support.

5' - FC Goa have looked more threatening in the initial exchanges with their incisive passing and movement.

1' - And we're off in Kochi as the home side play in their all-yellow kit whereas FC Goa are in the all-white kit.

The referee has conducted the toss, which has been won by FC Goa, who will attack from left to right in the first half of the match.

The teams have made their way out of the tunnels as the ISL Anthem rings around the arena.

FC Goa have also lined up in a similar shape with Coro leading the way for the attacking Gaurs.

Kerala Blasters have lined up in a 4-2-3-1 shape with Iain Hume leading the attacking charge for the home side.

Kerala Blasters lost their last fixture 2-1 away to Jamshedpur FC whereas FC Goa won against the same opponent at their home ground.

Welcome to the live coverage of the Hero Indian Super League as Super Sunday continues on in Kochi as Kerala Blasters host FC Goa at the JLN Stadium.

Kerala Blasters will host FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi at 8 pm.The home side will break into the top four if they post a win while a victory for the away side can solidify their position in the top four.

David James has everyone fit and available for selection except Dimitar Berbatov who is carrying a knock and may not play a part in the match. The Englishman would be expecting his forwards Mark Sifneos and Ian Hume to find the back of the net.

Sergio Lobera has the whole squad available for the match and he would be expecting Ferran Corominas and Manuel Lanzarote to increase their goal tally. In the last meeting between the two sides, Goa had beaten Kerala 5-2 and James would be hoping his side gets a better result this time around.

Both the squads have managed to register seven points in the last five matches and the teams need better results to qualify for the knockout stages.
