The Hikers bounce back to claim victory!
The Hikers began the contest like a freight train but lost pace through the final overs of their batting innings as the Strikers kept them down to a respectable total. However, the Strikers' batsmen again failed to come to the fore, with the likes of Cottoy and Pope failing. Though Lavia and Williams tried to stage a comeback, they too ran out of steam when push came to shove.

As for the Hikers, they stuck to their bowling guns when they were put under pressure and proved why they are being considered one of the strongest outfits in the Vincy Premier League.

9.6 Dean Browne to Ray Jordan, short and outside off, Jordan cuts it away uppishly and somehow the ball falls between three fielders. Comprehensive win for the Hikers!
