West Ham United are monitoring Mario Balotelli's ongoing situation at Nice and are likely to plot a move for the 28 year old in the January transfer window.

New Nice boss Patrick Vieira expects Balotelli to depart the French club this summer but no club has been able to meet the €10 million price tag of the Italian striker.

Zinchenko set for Man City exit

Manchester City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko could be set for a loan spell this season. The Ukranian rejected a £16 million move to Premier League newboys Wolverhampton Wanderers prior to the British Deadline Day but City are keen on Zinchenko getting some first-team football elsewhere.

La Liga duo Girona and Real Betis are in the hunt for Zinchenko and are highly interested in taking the 21 year on loan until the end of the season.

Real Madrid eye Alonso

Real Madrid are looking to launch an enquiry for Chelsea's Marcos Alonso. New boss Julen Lopetegui believes that reinforcements must be added to the squad to challenge in both domestic and European competitions.

One area that has been brought to Lopetegui's attention is the left-back slot as there is no backup for Marcelo after Real sent Theo Hernandez on loan to Real Sociedad.

Lopetegui has shortlisted specific players and in the coming days, President Florentino Perez may initiate contact with the representatives of Alonso.

Inter Milan have opened negotiations with Real Betis for the loan of Joao Mario. The Portuguese International is headed for the exit door at the San Siro and Betis are in pole position to land Mario on a temporary one-year deal.

Juventus and Miralem Pjanic have entered talks over a contract renewal. The Bosnian midfielder has been linked with a host of European heavyweights in the last month but Juve are determined to keep hold off Pjanic by presenting a new deal worth €7 million per year that will run through 2022.

Everton are set to loan out Dutch defender Cuco Martina to Stoke City in the Championship for the remainder of the season.

Marseille have given up the pursuit for for Mario Balotelli and have switched attention to Celtic Star Moussa Dembele. Rudi Garcia's side are lining up a €13 million bid for the Belgian while Valencia striker Simone Zaza has been eyed as a backup option if the deal for Dembele does not go through.

The above comment angered Mourinho after recent reports claimed that there was unrest among the player and coach. Marca reports that the Portuguese has informed Pogba,"If you want to leave, request a transfer."

Liverpool have rejected Torino's offer to send Marko Grujic on loan. The Italian club proposed a season-long loan deal with an option to make the transfer permanent next summer for £9 million.

Bayern want Alderweireld

Bayern Munich have set their sights on Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian has been identified as a direct replacement for Jerome Boateng, who is headed for PSG after he agreed personal terms with the French Champions.

The 29 year old defender has entered the final year of his contract and Tottenham have set a £50 million price tag for the former Ajax center-back.

However, off-late, Alderweireld stated that the goal is to win the Premier League this season after Spurs kicked off the season with a win at Newcastle, indicating a possible change in mindset about his Spurs future.

Alderweireld tweeted,“First game, first win. Let’s go and win the title in our new stadium."
