19:16 (IST)4 FEB 2023

83' BRILLIANT SAVE!

Mourtada Fall plays a long diagonal ball for Bipin Singh, who makes a grafting run down the left. The winger's timid cross somehow lands up at the feet of Greg Stewart inside the opposition box. The Scotsman seems all set to thump home the winner but Gurmeet Singh manages to keep Hyderabad alive in the match and even the ISL Shield race.

19:12 (IST)4 FEB 2023

79' Triple change for Hyderabad: Sahil Tavora, Javier Siverio, and Abdul Anjukandan come on for Joel Chianese, Mohammad Yasir, and Hitesh Sharma!

19:12 (IST)4 FEB 2023

78' Much-awaited change for MCFC: Greg Stewart comes on for Jorge Pereyra Diaz.

19:03 (IST)4 FEB 2023

70' Halicharan Narzary has looked incredibly lively after coming on. Could he ignite the fire in HFC to grab the winner here?

19:00 (IST)4 FEB 2023

68' Change for MCFC: Rowllin Borges comes on for Sanjeev Stalin.

18:57 (IST)4 FEB 2023

65' HYDERABAD FC AREN'T GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!

Mohammad Yasir sets off on a marauding run down the right flank but spots Hitesh Sharma making an inside run. The winger plays the young midfielder through and Hitesh does brilliantly to slot the ball into the net past on-rushing Phurba Lachenpa. We're back on level terms.

18:52 (IST)4 FEB 2023

61' Substitution for HFC: First change of the game for the Nizams as Halicharan Narzary comes on for Rohit Danu.

18:50 (IST)4 FEB 2023

56' Manolo Marquez's men are still lacking the telling ball and Mumbai City are happy to hold on the scoreline at the moment.

18:41 (IST)4 FEB 2023

50' Mumbai City FC have made a strong start to the second half. They have seemingly regrouped and brought their focus back into the game after the chaos in the dying moments of the first half.

18:36 (IST)4 FEB 2023

46' SECOND HALF IS UNDERWAY!

18:24 (IST)4 FEB 2023

HALF-TIME: Mumbai City FC 1-0 Hyderabad FC

18:18 (IST)4 FEB 2023

45' Three minutes added on.

18:18 (IST)4 FEB 2023

42' ABSOLUTE DRAMA IN THE MIDDLE!

Sanjeev Stalin brings down Rohit Danu while the Hyderabad FC attacker was clearly through on goal. The referee initially seems to have shown the red card but then he goes to consult with the linesman and changes the color to yellow. Replays showed that there was nothing wrong with the initial decision Respite for MCFC but an incredibly poor show for refereeing standards in the league.

18:12 (IST)4 FEB 2023

35' Hyderabad are creating some half chances but have lacked the killer final pass. This game is still far from over but HFC need to show some reaction.

18:03 (IST)4 FEB 2023

31' Hyderabad are now trying to get back into the game. Rohit Danu wiggles past a couple of NCFC defenders before laying the ball for Mohammad Yasir. But Yasir's shot from just outside the box flies right into the stands. The Nizams should've made more of the opportunity.

17:57 (IST)4 FEB 2023

24' GOOOOAAAL!

Jorge Pereyra Diaz makes no mistake from the spot and clatters the ball into the roof of the net to give Mumbai the early lead.

17:57 (IST)4 FEB 2023

23' Nikhil Poojary is shown a yellow card for the handball inside his own box.

17:56 (IST)4 FEB 2023

23' PENALTY FOR MCFC!

What a turn of fortunes in such a short span Lallianzuala Chhangte is yet again in the mix as he drills in a neat cross to find Bipin Singh on the far post. The latter heads the ball towards the goal with an acrobatic effort but Nikhil Poojary keeps it out of the net with his hand. The referee points to the spot immediately.

17:54 (IST)4 FEB 2023

20' FIRST REAL OPPORTUNITY FOR MCFC!

Even when they are pinned back Mumbai can be lethal. Rostyn Griffiths created ample room in the middle of the park with a neat shimmy before finding Chhangte down the right flank. The winger combined well with Apuia down the byline but the former's effort is high and wide.

17:47 (IST)4 FEB 2023

15' The press from Hyderabad has been extremely effective so far and Mumbai are finding it difficult to build out from the back.

17:45 (IST)4 FEB 2023

13' Rostyn Griffiths goes sliding in on Nikhil Poojary and the referee reaches out to his back pocket to book the Australian.

17:44 (IST)4 FEB 2023

10' A few stray passes flying here and there from players you least expect. But that's the magnanimity of the fixture weighing on the shoulder of the players.

17:40 (IST)4 FEB 2023

7' It's been a tactical battle in the middle of the park. However, Mumbai have slightly been the more progressive side so far.

17:35 (IST)4 FEB 2023

3' This is a clash of the titans and both sides will be very cautious in their approach.

17:33 (IST)4 FEB 2023

LINEUPS ARE OUT!

17:31 (IST)4 FEB 2023

The Islanders are undefeated this season and are currently on an 11-match winning streak. They sit pretty at the top of the standings with 42 points from 16 encounters.

In their most recent outing, Des Buckingham's team came away with a 2-1 victory against Jamshedpur FC despite struggling for most of the game. Late goals from Lallianzuala Chhangte and Vikram Pratap Singh, however, kept their unbeaten record intact.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad FC trail the league leaders by seven points but have a game in hand. Hence, a win on Saturday could bring them within touching distance of Mumbai. The Nizams have been on a seven-match unbeaten run of their own.
