Manchester United ended their 3 match losing streak with a comfortable win against Northampton. A screamer from Michael carrick was cancelled out by an Alex Revell penalty. It looked like an upset was on the cards but Ander Herrera produced a moment of magic to give United the lead again followed by which Smith had a moment to forget, his howler costing his side a third goal which all but ended the Northampton fight.
Jose will be a happy man at the end of this but another disappointing performance from Rooney will cast more doubt over his United future. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight!!
