The first-half was evenly poised but the game steadily tilted in favour of the visitors. Constantine deploying Kyriakou as a midfielder worked in favour of the Red and Gold Brigade.

THE LINEUPS ARE OUT!!

NorthEast United FC hasn't been able to win any of their games so far. Their first ISL 2022-23 encounter against Bengaluru FC ended controversially after Jon Gaztanaga's late equalizer was canceled out by the referee. The Highlanders could not click together in their match against Hyderabad FC. Marco Balbul's side was on the receiving end of 3-0 drubbing by the Nizams.

Meanwhile, East Bengal FC has had a similar fate as well. The Kolkata giants had to gulp down a loss in their season opener before falling short of tricks against FC Goa. The Red and Gold Brigade are eager to make something of their clash against NorthEast United FC and will be expected to put on a show for the fans.
