A very nervy moment for all Portugal fans at the end as Diogo Costa the goalkeeper without realising Inaki Williams behind him rolls the ball in front of him, Williams sneaks in behind and then as he prepares to shoot, he slips and Costa gets away. That would have really broken Portugal hearts had that gone in.

FULL-TIME! Portugal 3 Ghana 2. What a game that came alive in the second half after a goalless first half. 5 goals in the second half and Portugal win by the odd goal. Ghana came hard in the last 10 minutes but Portugal hung on.

A long ball over the top and the left-back misjudged the flight of the ball and the cross is sent in where Bukari is unmarked from 5 yards, he heads home giving Costa no chance. Game back on? GOAL! Rafael Leao in the 80th minute! Portugal 3 Ghana 1. Again Ghana lose the ball in midfield and Fernandes slips in the substitute Leao who is just onside and finishes with Thierry Henry-like precision - opening his body and curling it into the far corner. Game over surely!

GOAL! Joao Felix in the 78th minute! Portugal 2 Ghana 1. Lovely finish from the youngster as he gets in behind the last defender and with the goalkeeper onrushing he dinks it over him and into the bottom-left corner.

GOAL! Andre Ayew in the 73rd minute! Portugal 1 Ghana 1. Mohammed Kudus gets in on the blindside of the left-back and crosses it from the byline where he finds Andre Ayew who has a tap-in. Game on here and that's sent Ghanian supporters into a frenzy.

A bit of afters between Alidu Seidu and Sequeira Joao Felix after the Ghanian brings down the youngster. Felix gets up and meets his head with Seidu's. The referee lets off both with a warning. A bit more contact from both and they might have been sent off.

As soon as I write that, a heavy touch sees the ball pinged to Cristiano Ronaldo but a heavy first touch and Lawrence Ati-Zigi is out there to smother the shot as it drifts wide. If not for the first touch, Ronaldo would've been expecting to score there.

Portugal are bossing possession inside the first 10 minutes but no real chances so far.
